March 26, 2021 Show with Doug Wilson on “An Update on Sticker-gate & the Political Scam of White Supremacy Slander”

The Iron Sharpens Iron Radio Introduction and Psalm 27:17

Live from the historic parsonage of the 19th century gospel minister George Norcross in downtown Carlisle, Pennsylvania, it's Iron Sharpens Iron. This is a radio platform in which pastors, Christian scholars, and theologians address the burning issues facing the Church and the world today.

Proverbs 27, verse 17 tells us, Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Matthew Henry said that in this passage, we are cautioned to take heed with whom we converse and directed to have a view in conversation to make one another wiser and better.

It is our hope that this goal will be accomplished over the next two hours and we hope to hear from you, the listener, with your own questions. And now, here's your host, Chris Arnzen.

Good afternoon, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Lake City, Florida, and the rest of humanity living on the planet Earth who are listening via live streaming at ironsharpensironradio .com. This is Chris Arnzen, your host at Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, wishing you all a happy Friday on this 26th day of March 2021.

I'm thrilled to have back on the program a returning guest by the name of Doug Wilson, a conservative, Reformed, and evangelical theologian, pastor at Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, faculty member at New St. Andrews College, author and speaker, founder of Canon Press, host of the Applied Theology podcast, and blogger at Blog and Mayblog.

Today we are going to be addressing an update on Stickergate and the political scam of white supremacy slander. And it's my honor and privilege to welcome you back to Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, Doug Wilson.

Thank you.

The pleasure is all mine, brother. And before we get into the topic at hand for our listeners that have not heard you on the program before and may not be familiar with you, I'm sure that they are very small in number if they're not familiar with you.

I'm assuming the vast majority of my listeners know who you are. But why don't you let our listeners know about Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho.

I'm a senior pastor at Christian Evangelical Churches. That's basically preaching, and I also write and blog.

And tell us something I don't think I've asked you before, something about not only the polity there, but also what one might expect when visiting Christ Church, what kind of worship service they may experience.

Is it more of a liturgical worship? Et cetera. Tell us something more about that.

Most people would just think we don't do robes or candles or anything like that. That's not what I mean. I don't wear a collar. I don't preach. There's a call to worship, and then there's a time of confession, and we all kneel for confession.

And then there's the assurance of pardon, and then the preaching of the word somewhere in there. Message, we have a liturgical Catholic.

And when you said that there's a time of confession, is this basically a general congregational confession, or do individuals publicly announce?

We all kneel together and then the meeting of that.

Yeah, that's something that you don't hear too often in evangelical churches. I think that is something very biblical and refreshing to hear. And as far as the polity, are you more Presbyterian, Episcopalian?

How would you feel?

We're basically Presbyterians. I tell people.

Yes, and even our conservative Presbyterian friends that actually wear the name Presbyterian are typically the first to fully admit that there are many Presbyterian churches out there, perhaps the majority, that wear that name that are either very far to the left or even over the boundaries of apostasy.

So I'm sure any Presbyterian worth his salt listening would take no offense by what you just said. Right. And if anybody wants more information about Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, all you have to do is go to Christkirk .com, Kirk being the Scottish word for church.

Christkirk, K-I-R-K, dot com. And if you want more information about all of Doug Wilson's activities and other ministries outside of the realm of Christ Church, you can go to Dougwills .com, an abbreviation for Doug Wilson.

Dougwills, Doug, and W-I-L-S, only one L, dot com. Well, as I already announced, we are going to be addressing today first an update on Stickergate, and then we're going to eventually be addressing the political scam of white supremacy slander, which we hear every single day, multiple times a day, in the media.

But tell us, what on earth is Stickergate?

Now, what is it, you showed before. So some people might be aware of the phone thing. And, yes, that is correct. Just to give you a little bit of background, Latah County, where we are, one of the most lightly touched areas of the country when it comes.

And it was a very minimal effect. And yet our progressive city council issued a mask mandate, the first of all. And when it became apparent that, and they extended the mask mandate in a way that was just completely unnecessary, given our scheduled psalm sing at City Hall.

Now, we've done psalm sings, we've done Christmas carols, things outdoors, and psalm sings periodically for years. It's just something we do. Stay in the public square, reserve it, and spend time singing, praising God there.

And so we scheduled an edict, or the ordinance that the city council had carved out in a full speech and for religious activity. And so when we did this, our people were, and at the end of which, the city finally dropped acknowledging that the arrests, we knew what was in the ordinance, and they did not know what was in their own ordinance.

And just three people who were arrested in the city of Moscow and against some of the individuals. So they had these, one who's 19. Yeah, I live right down the street,.

About one block away from Dickinson College, so I know the drill there.

Okay, so they were, like I thought, and Nate was,.

That is Moscow, Idaho, of course.

I'm going to make the decision.

Now was this something, as far as the police officer involved, or plural, officers, was it something they were interested to be involved in? Were they enthusiastic in their arresting and so on? Your family members?

No, I don't think they knew who they were when they did it, and then they let them go. I don't think the cops were expecting any kind of prosecution from it. But then a week later, and by that time, so my view is that they're being prosecuted because their last name is the same as mine.

You know, this is amazing, because your local governing authorities are, in their actions, are actually proving the legitimacy of the comical stickers with the hammer and sickle. I mean, it's like saying, How dare you call me a racist?

I'm going to burn a cross on your lawn.

That's exactly what it is.

Utterly amazing. So now you're just basically waiting to see the outcome of the next hearing. Well, our listeners should pray for Doug Wilson's family about that, and I assume that you are going to be maintaining updates on that at dougwills .com.

And by the way, folks, for similar issues, I have interviewed just very recently, a few days ago, the attorney for James Coates, the pastor teacher at Grace Life Church of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, who was just released from jail.

I interviewed James Kitchen, who is James Coates' attorney, on the arrest, incarceration, and release of a pastor who refused to stop holding church. And I intend to interview James Coates himself once he has the opportunity to spend a few more days of rest and relaxation with his family.

And you can find that interview on irontreppanzironradio .com. All you have to do is type in Kitchen. He's the only person I ever interviewed with that last name. Just like the room in your house where you cook food, Kitchen.

Just type that in the search engine at irontreppanzironradio .com. Also, I have interviewed Ernie Springer, my own personal physician, Dr. Joel Yeager, and Dr. Daniel O 'Rourke on their book, Coronavirus and the Leadership of the Christian Church is Sacred, Trust Broken.

All three of these men are vehemently opposed to shutting down churches because of the coronavirus hysteria that is going on. In fact, my doctor that I just mentioned, Dr. Joel Yeager, who is a co-author of this book, he does not believe in mask wearing.

He says trying to keep coronavirus away with masks is like trying to keep mosquitoes away with a chain-link fence. And no one in his office wears masks. So I think you'll find not only his book interesting, but the interviews I've done two so far with all three of them, and I've done one with my doctor alone, which was actually at the tail end of James Kitchen's interview.

And if you type in Springer, that's Ernie Springer, one of the co-authors' last name. He's also the only one I've ever interviewed with that last name. If you type in Springer, S-P-R-I-N-G-E-R, you'll get all the interviews involving that book.

White Supremacy Slander, Critical Race Theory, and Race Hustlers

Well, now we are going to be entering into one of these issues that you could be easily accused of being a racist for even addressing this subject and for doubting the legitimacy of many accusations of racism.

We are going to be discussing the political scam of white supremacy slander. And when did this start to enter into your mind, seeing what was going on in the world and in this nation, that made you think, now wait a minute, this has really become out of control.

This is insane. This is nothing but slander. I just saw Votie Baucom not long ago conduct a seminar in Pennsylvania on critical race theory. He is vehemently opposed to it, as anyone who knows Votie Baucom would immediately guess.

During one of his lectures, he brought up the fact that in one of the Lego movies that his kids love, there is a little song that is sung in the movie, Everything is awesome, awesome, awesome. So throughout one of his lectures against critical race theory, Votie would interject now and again at poignant parts, everything is racist, racist, racist, because it seems that everything is racist these days, even things that it is mind-boggling to even detect any connection at all with that sin of bigotry.

But if you could, tell us about when you first started to get your ire up over this. What were the circumstances and how long ago was that?

That would have been my first year.

Sure.

Some of them, I'm sure, for unrest and all kinds, there are all sorts of reasons to have any part of... When we got to tag them with anything, it would be as sympathizers with... Then when we got to Anna, the town I grew up in for a long time, proved out by everybody in every direction.

If you want to keep your industry going...

What on earth would Al Sharpton do for a living if racism would disappear?

There are people who see their main chance and want to jump at it, and they can make their... By riding the race... People like that are...

In fact, we have to pick up right where you left off there with the race hustlers because we have to go to our first break. All right. And we'll pick up right where you left off. If anybody wants to join us with a question of your own, send it to ChrisArnzen at gmail .com, C-H-R-I-S-A-R-N-Z-E-N at gmail .com.

James White of Alpha Omega Ministries here. If you've watched my Dividing Line webcast often enough, you know I have a great love for getting Bibles and other documents vital to my ministry rebound to preserve and ensure their longevity.

And besides that, they feel so good. I'm so delighted I discovered Post Tenebrous Lux Bible rebinding. No radio ad will be long enough to sing their praises sufficiently, but I'll give it a shot. Jeffrey Rice of Post Tenebrous Lux is a remarkably gifted craftsman and artisan.

All his work is done by hand from the cutting to the pleating of corners to the perimeter stitching. Jeffrey uses the finest and buttery soft imported leathers in a wide variety of gorgeous colors like the turquoise goatskin tanned in Italy used for my Nestle All in 28th edition with a navy blue goatskin inside liner and the electric blue goatskin from a French tannery used to rebind a Reformation study Bible I used as a gift.

The silver gilding he added on the page edges has a stunning mirror finish resembling highly polished chrome. Jeffrey will customize your rebinding to your specifications and even emboss your logo into the leather, making whatever he rebinds a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Biblical Evidence, Color Blindness, and the Image of God

Welcome back. This is Chris Arnson. If you just tuned in, our guest today for the full two hours is Doug Wilson, and we are now discussing the very controversial theme, the political scam of white supremacy slander.

If you have a question, our e-mail address is chrisarnson at gmail .com. Give us your first name at least, your city and state of residence, and your country of residence if you live outside the USA.

Only remain anonymous if your question involves a personal and private matter. And right before the break, Doug, you were distinguishing between the race hucksters and the civil rights advocates. Yeah.

Amen.

When a case comes up before order to find out what happened. So you follow the biblical rules of evidence, confirmation of innocence, you know, all of those things. Like we just did within the last week or so, we've had two.

We had the shooting in Atlanta where most of the victims were Asian and the alleged perpetrator was white. And then we had the shooting in Boulder, Colorado where all the victims were white and the perpetrator was a Muslim ISIS.

The thing that is dying and what color were the people doing the killing, what color were they? Because I can't tell you what I think of it until I see it in the image of God. And I don't need to know what color or what I think.

We've gotten to the point where the one thing we absolutely don't know is the content of their character. And we rush to judge them by the color of their skin. To live up to lying under the woke.

Yeah, it is really amazing how not long ago, color blindness was a virtue. Not the kind of color blindness that I actually have where I can't distinguish between blue and purple and orange and green. The color blindness in regard to Martin Luther King's I Have a Dream speech.

That we are not to judge people according to the color of their skin, but according to the content of their character. It was very recently when universally liberals and right-thinking, biblically moral conservatives agreed that that was true.

In fact, the Bible even goes further than that. We are not supposed to judge people according to what clothing they are wearing. If they are rich and they show up at church with the finest of clothing and somebody from the street comes in with rags.

We are not supposed to treat them differently. And we could go on and on how we are not supposed to treat people differently because of their appearance. But today, that's racist? I don't even understand that.

How can you come to that conclusion in the 21st century that being color blind is racist?

With economic and state-binding racism, you have to set the mesh on your filters at a finer and finer scale. What does white supremacy mean? If someone says, well, it means that whites are a problem and we should talk about it.

What it's come to mean is so consequently that people make that are just baked into that.

Right?

But here's the thing. It's just the way it is. It's the way life is. There's nothing objectionable about it. If I were to move through my family from northern Idaho and we moved up to the northern end of Norway.

And then, let's say, having moved there, I started complaining about Norwegian supremacy.

I happen to be half Norwegian, so I agree with that. I'm only kidding.

So I go to the grocery store and there's all this Norwegian on the menu. There's all these Norwegian dishes. I turn on the radio and there's all these Norwegian. The Bible does teach the stranger and the alien in the land.

It's biblical to watch out for the person who's the fish out of water. That's a good thing to do, to start apologizing. And that's what we've seen in our white neighborhood. And most of your friends are white and you don't know what it's like to be black in Africa.

And being more comfortable with things that you are used to. There's no sin in having moments of awkwardness when you're trying to communicate with someone from a different cultural background. The thing I like to tell people is that I want to go back to this.

The left has done very well. They've made racism. The Bible doesn't talk about it. There's only one race. And then there's a new human race.

Exactly. And in fact, I believe that, for instance, the white parents of a white daughter are in sin. If they are happier that their white daughter is marrying a non-Christian white man, than if they were to see their white daughter marrying a Christian black man.

I believe that they would be in sin, preferring, I should say, the daughter marrying somebody of their own skin color, but who denies the Christian faith.

That is exactly correct. Fundamental allegiance is to my brothers and sisters.

He's about 90 now, I think, and he's still as sharp as he ever was.

Yeah, he's just fantastic.

In fact, you shouldn't blame anything on skin tint. The melanin content is... When you think about how utterly insane it is to treat somebody differently because of the melanin content in their skin, it's mind-boggling how anybody ever began to do this.

But we have to go to our midway break right now, and I hope that you folks are patient because, as always, the midway break is a bit longer than the other breaks in the show because Grace Life Radio, 90 .1 FM in Lake City, Florida, requires of us a longer break in the middle of the show because the FCC requires of them localizing Iron Sherpins Iron Radio to Lake City, Florida, geographically, and all of their programs, for that matter.

So what they do is, while we air our globally heard commercials, they air their own public service announcements and other local things to localize the show to Lake City, Florida. So please be patient.

Also, use this time wisely. Please write down as much of the information as you can for as many of our advertisers as you can so that you can more frequently and successfully reply to them, respond to them, and, whenever possible, patronize them.

And when you can't actually patronize them, you can't buy their products, you can't use their services, you can't visit their churches, well, at least reach out to them to thank them for sponsoring this show, if, indeed, you love the show and you don't want it to disappear.

Just contact them through whatever information they provide in their ads and thank them. Say, I thank you so much for sponsoring Iron Sherpins Iron Radio. Please continue to do so, et cetera, et cetera, if, indeed, you love the show.

That will go a long way, brothers and sisters, for helping us keep on the air because we absolutely positively depend on our advertisers and the finances that come through our advertisers to exist. So write down the information they provide in their ads and also write down questions for Doug Wilson on the issue that we are addressing today, the very controversial issue at hand today, the political scam of white supremacy slander.

That's chrisarnson at gmail .com. Chrisarnson at gmail .com gives your first name at least, your city and state of residence, and your country of residence if you live outside the USA. Only remain anonymous if your question involves a personal and private matter.

We'll be right back after these.

As host of Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, I frequently get requests from listeners for church recommendations. A church I've been strongly recommending as far back as the 1980s is Grace Covenant Baptist Church in Flemington, New Jersey, pastored by Alan Dunn.

Grace Covenant Baptist Church believes it's God's prerogative to determine how he shall be worshiped and how he shall be represented in the world. They believe churches need to turn to the Bible to discover what to include in worship and how to worship God in spirit and truth.

Grace Covenant Baptist Church endeavors to maintain a God-centered focus. Reading, preaching, and hearing the Word of God, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, baptism, and communion are the scriptural elements of their corporate worship, performed with faith, joy, and sobriety.

Are you tired of looking for the silver bullet when it comes to health and wellness? Are you frustrated with the medical status quo, which masks symptoms and doesn't treat the root problem of sickness?

More importantly, are you looking for one of the most unique books ever written, which gives you safe, low-cost, and proven options to regain your health the way God intended? Then look no further than my new book, Health for All of Life, a medical manifesto of hope and healing for the nations.

Hi, I'm Jason Garwood, and I'm a husband, father, pastor, and writer whose passion for helping people led me to write this book. If 2020 has proven anything, it's that big pharma, big tech, and big government knows nothing about how to treat people naturally without poisoning them with synthetic drugs and experimental vaccines.

But what if God has given us a better way? What if we can take the Christian worldview found in the Bible and apply it to health and wellness? My book, Health for All of Life, does just that. You can find this exciting new book on Amazon.

Pick up a copy for yourself and for your friends and family. Give the gift of health and don't be a dead end to truth.

Becoming a parent. My name is A .M. Brewster. I'm the president of Truth, Love, Parent, and host of its award-winning podcast. I've been a biblical family counselor since the early 2000s, and what I've discovered is that the majority of Christian parents have never been biblically equipped to do the work of the ministry in their homes.

That's why Truth, Love, Parent exists. We serve God by equipping dads and moms to be the ambassador parents God called and created them to be. We produce free parenting resources, train church leaders, and offer biblical counseling so that the next generation of dads and moms can use the scriptures to parent their children for life and godliness.

Here's what Gary DeMar, president of American Vision, had to say about Iron Trump and Zion Radio recently.

Good to be back, Chris. I always enjoy our time. I have to tell you, you're one of the better interviewers out there, and I've been doing this for more than 30 years.

Wow, that's some compliment. How much do I owe you for that?

You don't have to owe me anything. We're in good shape.

I'm glad you said it on the air, so I don't have to brag about myself. Tell your friends and loved ones about Iron Trump and Zion Radio, airing live Monday through Friday, 4 to 6 p .m. Eastern Time, at irontrumpandzionradio .com.

If you love Iron Sharpen's Iron Radio, one of the best ways you can help keep the show on the air is by supporting our advertisers. One such faithful advertiser who really believes in what Chris Arnton is doing is Daniel P. Patafuco, serious injury lawyer and Christian apologist.

Dan is the president and founder of the Historical Bible Society. Their mission? To foster belief in the credibility of Scripture as the written Word of God. They go to various churches, schools, and institutions to publicly display a rare collection of biblical texts along with a fascinating presentation by Mr. Patafuco demonstrating the reliability of Scripture.
