A Merciful High Priest (Hebrews 2:16-18)

By Jim Osman, Pastor | July 15, 2018 | Exposition of Hebrews Description: Christ helps His people in two ways: making propitiation for their sins and helping them in times of temptation. An exposition of Hebrews 2:16-18. Hebrews 2:16-18 NASB - For clearly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendants of Abraham. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brothers so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.
