Open your Bible to the book of Luke, chapter 27, verse 1.

My heavenly Father, who sent me here to study your word, and to pray for those who come to pray for those who have no way of coming to truth, then came to him a person who said to me, deny that there is any resurrection.

And they asked him, saying, Pastor, hold this book to us.

If any man's brother die having a wife, and he die without children, if any man's brother die having a wife, and he die without children, then his brother should take his wife and raise up seed unto his brother.

There were, therefore, seven brothers. The pharisees did not believe in resurrection.
