Welcome to the Rapid Bull, daily edition, where we provide a quick biblical interpretations and applications.
This is a ministry of striving for eternity. The book of Revelation was written by John on the island of Patmos, where he was basically exiled.
And this is the last book of the Bible. This is also one of the books that is more difficult to understand.
It is dealing with the end times. It will start with present times, it's going to contain seven letters to seven churches.
We're going to see that in chapters two and three. Then starting in chapter four, all the way to the end, there will be the revelation of the future.
This is apocalyptic literature, so it is more difficult to understand, and there is much here that is not as clear as we might want to think.
But keep in mind that in chapter one, this is the only book that promises a blessing to those who read it, which some go, blessing, yikes, there's so much confusion it seems in this book.
Yet, it will be a blessing to those who know what the theme of the book is.
It's very simple. You can sum up the theme as simple as this, God wins.
That's right. As we go through all of these judgments, the sealed judgments, the trumpled judgments, the bold judgments, you see all this judgment on the earth, is there really a millennium or is there not?
Is there a tribulation? All this stuff that people get into questioning. You can study this out and have many questions and not be really sure about the many things.
We do know there is a final judgment, there is an eternal heaven and hell, new earth and new heavens, and a lake of fire, but here's the thing,
God wins. This podcast is part of the Striving for Eternity ministry.
