million views where he claims to have seen a giant and since then all of his videos have racked up millions of views.

This has led to much speculation about what exactly Dawson saw on that mountain and whether it could have been an example of the

Nephilim described in Genesis chapter 6 and subsequent videos Dawson posted have led some to wonder if the government is trying to cover up something.

Let's follow the story of Andrew Dawson and his sudden mysterious disappearance and then we'll talk about the

Nephilim and what all this means. Three days later, on April 12, 2022,

Dawson again tried to film the giant that he saw on that mountain. So, the giant isn't there anymore and Dawson says the locals know about it and they said it comes and goes.

You might think the story ends here, since the supposed giant is now gone, but it just gets even weirder from here.

Later that same day, Dawson claims to have been stopped by the CIA. The next day, on the 13th,

Dawson posts a video that suggests that he caught a UFO on film. The next day, on the 14th,

Dawson posts a video where he supposedly films the CIA closing off part of the park.

Dawson posts a video with the caption, Being Stopped. Dawson then goes completely silent for many weeks, not posting another video until May 6, when he posts a video that looks like a hostage video, with Dawson glancing off to the side numerous times, as if looking at someone else in the room.

Ten days later, on the 16th, Dawson posts yet another video, walking back the things he said in the video that looked like a hostage video, saying that we might not see him ever post again.

Dawson posted one more video the next day on May 17th, and then suddenly, on July 1st,

Dawson passed away at 34 years old. To be honest, to me all of this seems scripted, staged, and fake, except for the fact that Dawson actually died soon after posting these videos.

I don't have any explanation for that. Maybe the CIA is in fact covering up that Dawson filmed a giant, and maybe the

CIA actually did force Dawson to film that video saying everything was fake, but I really find that hard to believe.

The hostage video with Dawson looking off to the side just looks like bad acting to me.

But how and why did Dawson die soon after filming these videos? I simply don't know.

But what about the suggestions from some that Dawson could have filmed an actual giant, an example of the

Nephilim described in Genesis chapter 6? Well, let's take a look at some interpretations of what the

Nephilim are in the Bible. Here's what John MacArthur believes about the Nephilim. John, my name is

Caleb and Joshua and the spies went to Canaan, they found the Nephilim giants there?

And also, why is there so many interpretations of Genesis 6? Well, the fact that there are so many interpretations of Genesis 6 means that a lot of people have gotten it wrong, right?

Because there is only one proper interpretation. And you know,

I understand that because there are some obscurities in the passage. It's helpful to me, however, to know that most of the views that are different than the one that I hold have come later in history, that the earliest views of Genesis 6 that we can find, even among rabbis, say nothing of early church fathers, viewed the sons of God as angels.

So by taking, as we did when I went through that, the sons of God as fallen angels, demons who come down and possess men, who then take wives and really desire demon involvement and have children, that's to show the depth of the fallenness of man, he engages himself with demons willingly.

I think that in the context of what Satan was doing in Genesis 6 is the best interpretation. It's consistent with what he tried to do in the garden, as we pointed out at the time.

But it says that there, at that time, there were giants on the earth in those days, and it uses the word nephilim.

The term is from the Hebrew verb to fall, and it has to do with powerful beings that crush somebody.

This is not a race of people. This is just some powerful people, some powerful men who fell on others in the sense of overpowering them.

It's what I put in the note, and that's exactly what I believe is accurate. They were already on the earth when children born of these unions of demonically possessed people came out.

They were mighty men. It says the products of those unions were mighty men and men of renown. There were, in ancient times, mighty men and men of renown born to those unions.

But there also were these nephilim, these powerful conquerors. The idea is that they are threats, dangerous.

It just describes them because we want to know something about the pre -flood society. There were oppressive,

I suppose you could say even deadly men in that day. There were powerful, I suppose we could call them conquerors or warriors.

And so that word nephilim is describing them. Later on, when the spies went into the land and they came back to report what they had seen, they simply said, there are nephilim there.

They didn't mean that they were the children of nephilim as if they were a race. Nephilim because of its usage here was sort of a word that they all knew was in the scripture and they knew that it referred to giants.

And so when they came back and wanted to report that essentially the Canaanites were unconquerable, they simply said, they're nephilim.

They just took that word in its generic sense, in its general meaning, rather than having it refer to some race.

They couldn't have been children of nephilim. Nephilim was not a race, it wasn't a tribe, and they couldn't have had any children that lasted until that time, as you said, because the flood drowned everybody but eight people.

So it's just a term that has to do with warriors, powerful, deadly, fearful kind of men.

And Joshua, in Joshua and Caleb's day, the spies who didn't believe they could conquer Canaan and wanted to make their point as strongly as they could.

And so they said they're like the giants, like the nephilim that are mentioned in Genesis chapter six.

MacArthur interprets the sons of God as demon possessed men and the nephilim simply as human men who are larger and stronger than average.

Here's what Got Questions Ministries says about the nephilim. There's much debate as to the identity of the sons of God.

It is our opinion that they were demons who procreated with human females. These unions resulted in offspring, the nephilim.

The nephilim were not aliens, angels, watchers, or rock monsters. They were literal physical beings produced from the union of the sons of God and the daughters of men.

So Got Questions Ministries leaves open the possibility that the nephilim may not be mere humans since it suggests that the sons of God may have been actual demons, not just demon possessed men, which would introduce non -human

DNA into their offspring. Here's what Doug Wilson has said about the nephilim. My understanding is that the

Elohim, the sons of God, looked at the daughters of men and saw they were fair and married them. And then the result was of this interbreeding was the nephilim, which were giants.

In brief defense of that reading, the other reading is that the sons of God were the godly line of Seth who were corrupted and fell into sin by marrying the daughters of men.

The problem with that is that all the masculinity is on one side and all the femininity on the other. It's the sons of God and the daughters of men.

And then the end result of this intermarriage is giants, which is not what you usually get when a Christian marries a non -Christian.

And so I think there's more going on than that. Like Got Questions Ministries, Wilson suggests that the nephilim were not mere humans, as MacArthur suggested.

One final question. Could there still be nephilim today? There have been many theories about nephilim existing today.

Here's what Got Questions Ministries says. Were there nephilim after the flood? Genesis 6 -4 tells us the nephilim were on the earth in those days and also afterward.

It seems that the demons repeated their sins sometime after the flood as well. However, it likely took place to a much lesser extent than it did prior to the flood, when the

Israelites spied out the land of Canaan. They reported back to Moses, we saw the nephilim there. We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.

A few possibilities include, the spies witnessed very large people in Canaan and feared them to be the nephilim.
