00:00: Through the work of the people that were serving out at the mill was through them and through Jesus Christ that I decided that I was meant to be a mother, specifically her mother.
00:19: This is River Grace and my name is Grace. She is six months old. She's so gentle and sweet.
00:29: I actually call her a Jesus baby. She just has the most gentle spirit ever.
00:36: She's just perfect. I mean, I really can't explain what a good baby she is.
00:45: She doesn't cry and she's not really fussy or anything and she's patient with me and it's like God knit her perfectly together for me like we're a team, you know.
01:01: When I got pregnant I thought that it was not the right time.
01:09: I didn't have a job. I was living with my dad. Was not in a relationship with the father of the child.
01:18: I had um several people that had been proponents of having an abortion.
01:25: I battled a lot with searching for love and um some self -esteem issues and things like that.
01:34: When I went to the abortion mill I felt like it wasn't the right time to have a child um and that's what led me there is
01:45: I felt like the circumstances in my life weren't right. Other people in my life said that you know very cut and dry things like just get it done.
01:58: Just do it. Get it over with and you can move on with your life kind of thing. What I knew in my heart
02:04: God wanted me to do was to ultimately have her. I knew that she was special and I knew that I was meant to be a mother.
02:16: I'm sorry. I kept going back but each time
02:23: I went you know there were deterrents and I started to get to know the people that were working out there and I may not be where I'm at today.
02:39: I needed them there to be able to show me that there was an alternative.
02:46: To show me that there was hope and there was mercy and grace and help and um resources and it wasn't just superficial.
03:00: They truly cared about me. You know we built a friendship. They knew we exchanged phone numbers.
03:07: You know they knew my car like I said. They knew me. They knew what I look like and they encouraged me daily.
03:15: You know when I went probably the the third time and I laid on the table and I said they did the ultrasound and typically they don't let you look at it and so I asked
03:27: I said is there a baby and she said yeah it's about the size of a fingernail and so I broke down in tears and you know
03:35: I knew that it was something I couldn't do and I knew that regardless of if I had an abortion
03:45: I would always be a mother there. She was a baby.
03:53: She had a beating heart. I struggled with going back and forth if it was a girl or a boy things questions
04:01: I would never be able to answer had I had an abortion. I wouldn't in a million year change my mind.
04:14: I feel like I tell people that I gave birth to her.
04:19: I gave life to her but ultimately she gave life to me that she saved my life.
04:25: I would say to moms that are considering going into an abortion mill to really listen to what the people have to say that are serving there for one.
04:41: I watched tons of videos online. You know I wanted to know what it would be like.
04:49: I wanted to make something feel right that I knew wasn't right and searching for those videos really helped me to see people that had chosen life.
