So what books of the Bible have you read in full? So I've read, let's see here,
Ruth, Lamentations, Jonah, Haggai, Matthew, Philemon, and 1 and 3
John. Alright, that's great. Out of those books that you've been reading, which one's your favorite one and why?
I like Matthew because it talks a lot about Jesus' life and it's kind of easy to understand.
Okay, so when you read your Bible, do you find it difficult sometimes to understand?
Sometimes it's good, but sometimes it's a little bit harder and then you just get a little uninterested and you're just like reading words and you don't understand what they say.
Okay, but if the Bible is difficult to read, then why do you still read it? Because just because something's difficult doesn't mean that it's not important and the
Bible is important. Why is it important? Because God wrote it.
So why is it important to memorize scripture? What are your thoughts on that?
If anybody asks you about God and you can tell them about it and that you can tell them scripture and stuff and so that you can help them.
Okay, so what scripture have you memorized? Psalm 37, 3, and 4.
And what is it? Um, for they will wither quickly like the grass, take delight in the
Lord, and He will give you your heart's desires.
I said that wrong. Trust me, I actually did remember. That was just, I forgot it then. Okay, what does your dad do?
Apologetics. And what's that? Defending the faith. Defending the faith, and why is that important?
So you can tell others about Jesus. Okay. Alright, so ultimately what is your goal in reading your
Bible? To know God better, and um, because God wrote the
Bible, and I think other people do that too because it's important. Don't forget to read your
