- Hello, and welcome back to Daily Bites of God's Word.

- This is Andy Cain. It's a joy to be back with you once again. Today we are looking at Psalm 119, verse 5.

- Verse 5 says, Oh, may my ways be established to keep your statutes.

- So in this verse, we're seeing that it is the creature, it is the person. In this case, it would be me.

- I want to see my ways established not by my own thinking, not by my own directives, not by my own decree, but by the decree of God, by His precepts,

- His statutes, His law, His Word. That is the key difference between the unsaved and the saved.

- The saved is going to seek after God continually with all their heart. They're going to want to see that their ways and that their walk and that their life is patterned and imitated, as Paul talks about in Ephesians 5, to be imitators of God.

- We want to be imitators. We want to keep His statutes. We want our ways. We want our path.

- We want our life modeled, established, and made firm under the direction, the pattern, and the law of God.

- It is your, this yours God, your, the Lord's, Yahweh's, His statutes.

- And so, how are you living your life? Are you living it after your own accord, after your own ways and thinking, or are you submitting to the

- Word of God and keeping His plan, His decree, His Word, and what

- He has commanded us to do? Are you living a life of righteousness? Are you living a life of holiness? Are you living a life of sin and a life that is patterned after your own heart and desire?
