who will address:
PART *2* of
“FALSE PROPHECIES of
2020 & 2021”
with special Cohost
ANDREW RAPPAPORT,
founder & president of
Striving For Eternity
- 00:04
- Live from the historic parsonage of the 19th century gospel minister George Norcross in downtown
- 00:10
- Carlisle, Pennsylvania, it's Iron Sharpens Iron. This is a radio platform in which pastors,
- 00:23
- Christian scholars, and theologians address the burning issues facing the church and the world today.
- 00:31
- Proverbs chapter 27 verse 17 tells us, Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
- 00:38
- Matthew Henry said that in this passage, we are cautioned to take heed with whom we converse and directed to have in view in conversation, to make one another wiser and better.
- 00:50
- It is our hope that this goal will be accomplished over the next two hours, and we hope to hear from you, the listener, with your own questions, and now here's your host,
- 01:00
- Chris Arnzen. Good afternoon,
- 01:10
- Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Lake City, Florida, and the rest of humanity living on the planet
- 01:16
- Earth who are listening via live streaming at ironsharpensironradio .com. This is
- 01:21
- Chris Arnzen, your host at Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, wishing you all a happy Wednesday on this third day of February 2021, and I'm very excited to have back as a returning guest a very dear friend of mine, somebody whose ministry,
- 01:39
- I believe, is one of the most vital ministries of the 21st century, and that is not hyperbole.
- 01:45
- It's not exaggeration or sinful flattery. I truly believe this, and I consider this guest today to be not only one of my favorite guests on Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, but one of my favorite conference speakers and pastors, luncheon speakers, who
- 02:03
- I've invited here to Pennsylvania to participate in events associated with Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, and I'm speaking of Justin Peters, who is an evangelist, conference speaker, and founder of Justin Peters Ministries, and Justin, for those of you who are unfamiliar with him, specializes, although this is not the exclusive area that Justin focuses on, it is a primary focus of his ministry, and that is exposing the lies and heresies of the charlatans in the
- 02:42
- Word of Faith movement, and today we are going to be continuing a conversation that we began a number of weeks ago, and that is false prophecies of 2020 and 2021, and this is part two of that discussion.
- 02:58
- It's my honor and privilege to welcome you back to Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, Justin Peters. Chris, it is always a joy to be able to join you on your program.
- 03:07
- I really enjoy our time together, and thank you for your invitation to come back. The pleasure is all mine, brother, and we may be, oh, not maybe, we definitely are.
- 03:17
- I just got a text that we have been joined by Andrew Rappaport, who is my co -host today, my special co -host, founder and president of Striving for Eternity, and welcome back to Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, Andrew Rappaport.
- 03:34
- Chris, it is always a pleasure to be with you. I want to right away give our listeners our email address if they would like to join us on the air with a question for Justin on the
- 03:47
- Word of Faith movement on extra -biblical revelation, or alleged extra -biblical revelation,
- 03:57
- I should say, prophecies, words of knowledge, divine inspiration, etc.,
- 04:06
- which is actually not exclusively things that are coming from the Word of Faith Pentecostal movement, which is the worst form of the charismatic slash
- 04:18
- Pentecostal movements, even those that I know and love and cherish as my brothers in Christ, who are either charismatic or Pentecostal or non -cessationists, continuous or continuationists, as they're some kind of called, even among them, they would consider the
- 04:38
- Word of Faith movement an embarrassment. They would consider them charlatans and dangerous heretics, but this issue is not exclusively from their backyard, meaning the
- 04:51
- Word of Faith movement, and we'll get into that more clearly in the moments to come.
- 04:59
- But, Justin, just for the sake of those who have never heard you on the show before and have never heard of you at all, perhaps you could give us a very brief summary of why you got involved in a ministry that primarily exposes or seeks to expose and warn against the
- 05:19
- Word of Faith movement and false preachers, teachers, and charlatans that are associated with it.
- 05:27
- Sure, Chris. Yeah, well, a very long story short is that I was born with cerebral palsy. I walk on crutches and I use an electric scooter for longer distances, but when
- 05:38
- I was a teenager, a neighbor of mine approached me and said, Justin, God has spoken to me and He's told me that He's going to heal you as long as you have enough faith.
- 05:47
- And as a teenager, this really struck a chord with me. I wanted to be healed. I wanted to be able to play football and do all the things that my friends were doing that I thought was so important at that age.
- 05:57
- And so I went to see several faith healers, Nora Lamb being the most well -known. She's dead now, but she was quite well -known back in the late 80s when this happened in 1989.
- 06:12
- So I went to see several faith healers, and of course, I was not healed. And so that was my first exposure to this movement.
- 06:21
- But I did not realize at the time how heretical the movement actually is. I had no idea that this movement was actually rooted in the metaphysical cults like Christian science and New Age apostatism, and really what we have today in the word faith movement.
- 06:37
- People like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Jesse Duplantis, Creplo Dollar, Bill Johnson, Bethel Church, all that huge outfit out there in California, Hillsong.
- 06:50
- This is actually cultic doctrine that is rooted in—I mean, it's cultic doctrine that is wrapped in some
- 06:58
- Christian lingo to make it appear to be Christian when it is in fact not. But I've also told people, for those who are hearing me for the first time, a lot of people make the accusation against me, oh,
- 07:12
- Justin just teaches against this movement because he's bitter that he wasn't healed when he was a teenager.
- 07:18
- And I think I can honestly say that nothing could be further from the truth if I have to live the rest of my life with cerebral palsy.
- 07:27
- That's fine. I've got all of eternity to live without it. So there's not a bitter ball in my body about not being healed.
- 07:34
- I do what I do because I'm driven by the truth of God's word. People are being exploited.
- 07:41
- They're being deceived. They're being preyed upon. The poor, the sick, the desperate, and the widows are being used for the enrichment of these wealthy prosperity preachers.
- 07:51
- But what's worse than that, Chris, by far, is that the name of Christ is being distorted.
- 07:59
- The gospel is being distorted. An untold reproach is being brought on the good name of Jesus Christ.
- 08:07
- So that's why I do what I do. And as you said, I do have other interests, but that's kind of what
- 08:14
- I'm most known for. I suppose you could say I've been theologically typecast in a way.
- 08:20
- Yeah, that is what you are most loved for and most hated for.
- 08:27
- Yeah, that's a fair statement. Depending upon who is reacting to what you do.
- 08:35
- And I, for one, love what you do, obviously, because I love having you return to this program.
- 08:41
- If anybody wants to find out more about Justin Peters Ministries, just go to justinpeters .org,
- 08:47
- justinpeters .org. And also, if you are interested in my co -host's ministry, who is
- 08:56
- Andrew Rapoport, his website for striving for eternity ministries.
- 09:03
- In fact, perhaps you could give that to me, Andrew, because for some reason I'm having a problem opening up your website.
- 09:11
- What is your website? strivingforeternity .org. I thought that's what it was.
- 09:19
- Yeah, from there, you can also get to our Christian podcast community, which is also christianpodcastcommunity .org,
- 09:28
- which Justin has a podcast out there. Great. And in fact,
- 09:33
- I know that my guest and co -host are very close friends, and very often when
- 09:39
- Justin travels, Andrew Rapoport has accompanied him and helps him out with his physical needs because of his disabilities.
- 09:49
- And I'm assuming, Justin, that even in the 21st century, in spite of the politically correct dictionaries we're all supposed to have,
- 10:00
- I'm assuming it's okay to refer to you as disabled, is it not? Chris, I refer to myself as a little white cripple boy all the time.
- 10:10
- Well, I'd never do that, but you could do that. I do that just to set people at ease because, yeah, you don't have to be careful about what you say or, oh, did
- 10:24
- I use the wrong word? I'm not worried about any of that kind of stuff. And if anybody also wants to hear part two,
- 10:31
- I'm sorry, part one of the discussion that we're having today, which was actually conducted on January 8th, about the false prophecies of 2020 and 2021, after the show is over, you can go to irontripandsironradio .com
- 10:50
- and click podcast past shows. And then in the search engine, type in Justin Peters.
- 10:57
- All of Justin's interviews will come up, at least those that have been broadcast since we relaunched in 2015 and have a new website.
- 11:10
- The older interviews may not be ready yet to listen to, but hopefully eventually my webmaster will have those available as well, right at your fingertips.
- 11:20
- But type in Justin Peters at irontripandsironradio .com.
- 11:26
- Type that in the search engine and Justin's past interviews will come up.
- 11:32
- And the first one at the top of the list should be the part one of our discussion today that was held on January 8th.
- 11:39
- Well, if you wouldn't mind, Justin, if you could set us up, because we have some clips that we are going to air.
- 11:47
- And one of the reasons I love interviewing you is you frequently provide clips, and as you did when you were my luncheon speaker for Iron Trump and Zion Radio here in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, you brought a number of video clips.
- 12:02
- Because what I routinely hear from the proponents of the
- 12:09
- Word of Faith movement, or just your run -of -the -mill charismatic or Pentecostal individual, very often they will say, you're relying on hearsay or something.
- 12:20
- That can't be true. Or, yeah, you just heard this by word of mouth.
- 12:26
- I just don't believe it. That's why one of the reasons it's valuable to have these, especially since all of these prophecies by these charlatans have not come to be.
- 12:39
- They've all failed. And it's good to have a public record of this, even though, of course, they are like Teflon, because people either have amnesia or they worship these people or idolize them to such a high extent that they don't care that they've proven themselves to be false prophets over and over and over and over and over again.
- 13:05
- They still pour their accolades on these people and support them with their money.
- 13:13
- But if you could help us with the first clip, which is a clip of Pat Robertson.
- 13:19
- And before we even do that, would you categorize Pat Robertson as a part of the
- 13:25
- Word of Faith Pentecostal movement? I know, of course, he is a Pentecostal or charismatic, I should say. He's actually, at least he was for most of his
- 13:33
- Christian life, a Southern Baptist, which may be very surprising to many.
- 13:41
- Even for most of his career, hosting the 700 Club, he was a Southern Baptist. But would you consider him a
- 13:47
- Word of Faith preacher, teacher? I would,
- 13:53
- Chris, unfortunately, yes, because he's beyond just charismatic. He teaches.
- 14:00
- It's always God's will to be wealthy. It's always God's will to be physically healed, as long as you have enough faith.
- 14:06
- He is friends with Benny Hinn, and Benny Hinn is, along with Kenneth Copeland, they're like two of the kingpins of the
- 14:15
- Word of Faith movement. And so the people with whom you associate says a lot about your own personal character and convictions.
- 14:24
- So, yes, Pat Robertson is beyond what we would call just a charismatic, like Wayne Grudel or F .F.
- 14:34
- Bruce or someone like that, a more careful, charismatic. Pat Robertson's way beyond that.
- 14:41
- So this first clip is actually dated back in October of 2012, when he had
- 14:48
- Benny Hinn on the 700 Club. And Pat Robertson tells everyone whom
- 14:54
- God informed him would win both the 2012 United States presidential election and 2016.
- 15:02
- So that's our first clip. I mean, that's the way he thinks, and he will be tremendous on the economy.
- 15:09
- He's uncomfortable with foreign policy, I feel. But nevertheless, he'll be a strong, strong man.
- 15:16
- But if he comes in, secondly, he's going to have a second term.
- 15:21
- He's going to win. Romney will win the election. You believe that? I absolutely believe that.
- 15:27
- What makes you believe that? Because the Lord told me. I'm glad to know. I wasn't sure how you knew.
- 15:34
- Really, the Lord said that to you? Yeah, absolutely. I told Mitt a long time ago. I called him. I said, listen, I've been in prayer.
- 15:41
- Number one, you're going to win the nomination. Number two, you're going to win the general election. He said, well, what can
- 15:47
- I do for you? I said, well, give me a seat on the platform. Yeah, so that was Pat Robertson on the 700 Club, and Benny Hinn was his guest.
- 15:53
- Again, this was October of 2012, just a couple weeks before the presidential election. And Pat Robertson said that Mitt Romney would not only win in 2012, but he would win re -election in 2016.
- 16:08
- And Benny Hinn says, well, how do you know? And Pat Robertson says, well, the Lord told me. And Benny Hinn said, oh, the
- 16:14
- Lord told you? And Pat Robertson said, oh, yeah, absolutely. So, you know, one of the fundamental problems with all of this is that, you know, we're dealing here with something as monumental as the
- 16:30
- United States presidential election. Something that is, it comes around like clockwork every four years, right?
- 16:37
- So they have years to prepare to make sure that they are healing God rightly on this.
- 16:45
- And they even have a 50 -50 shot at it, you know, right out of the gate, God speaking to them or not.
- 16:50
- They've got a 50 -50 chance of getting it right. And they still miss it. And so,
- 16:56
- I mean, that's a false prophecy. He is putting words in God's mouth that God did not say, and Pat Robertson is never one to learn from his mistakes.
- 17:06
- And so he did the exact same thing again, this go -around in the year 2020, which is our second clip.
- 17:15
- Okay. In fact, Andrew, I believe that I have this working now. So this is the second clip.
- 17:21
- And explain that again very briefly, Justin. Set up the clip.
- 17:28
- This clip is from Pat Robertson. This was taken just before the
- 17:34
- United States, the 2020 United States presidential election. And Pat Robertson is telling everyone who
- 17:40
- God told him would win in November of 2020. Okay, here it is. First of all,
- 17:46
- I want to say without question, Trump is going to win the election. And that doesn't mean you sit home and don't vote.
- 17:53
- That means you get up and do everything you can to work, but he's going to win. That's, I think, a given.
- 18:00
- According to what I believe the Lord told me, the president is going to be reelected. I'm saying by all means, get up and vote.
- 18:07
- I think it's time to pray. But ladies and gentlemen, that's the word. You ask what's going to happen next?
- 18:12
- That's what's going to happen next. Now, it's kind of interesting how these people speak, especially
- 18:21
- Pat Robertson. Pat Robertson has always spoke as if he needs to put tinfoil on his head or something to get a better reception from the
- 18:32
- Holy Spirit. Because he first begins saying that he knows this with certainty.
- 18:39
- And then later on in the same sentence, seconds later, he says, I think that's what the Lord is telling me.
- 18:45
- Or I believe, I believe this is what the Lord is telling me. Those are two different things, aren't they?
- 18:51
- To say something with certainty and say, I believe the Lord is telling me this. And has a prophet in the scriptures that was a true prophet ever been questioning or not 100 % certain that what they were prophesying was from God himself?
- 19:10
- That's exactly right, Chris. You never see anyone in the Bible, Old or New Testament, saying anything like the following.
- 19:18
- Well, I really feel like the Lord is trying to tell us such and such. Nobody in the
- 19:23
- Bible said that ever. When God spoke, he spoke very clearly.
- 19:29
- Everyone knew exactly what was being said. Nobody in the Bible ever said, well, I really feel like the Lord. Anytime you hear someone say that,
- 19:37
- I feel like the Lord, or I think the Lord, you automatically write that person off because God doesn't have a problem.
- 19:45
- He doesn't have difficulty communicating to his people. Now, of course, we've already discussed, and you had
- 19:51
- Jim Osmond on your program, that God speaks only through his word today.
- 19:58
- But even if God was speaking outside of his word, which he's not, but even if he was, he would not be having such difficulty communicating with his prophets because he did not have any such difficulty with any of the true prophets.
- 20:15
- Abraham, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, none of these men had any difficulty hearing
- 20:21
- God, knowing it was God, and knowing exactly what it was that he was saying. By the way, for all of the millennials in the audience, or those who are younger, who had no idea what my reference was concerning the tinfoil, those of us who are older folks, when we used to have television sets that actually required antennas, also known as rabbit ears, we used to put tinfoil on them, and it actually helped improve the reception, the picture on many occasions, sometimes even sticking in a coat hanger in there, and all kinds of stuff.
- 21:02
- But now, we have to go to our first break, and when we return, either
- 21:07
- Justin will pick up where he left off on that same clip, or we'll play the next clip. And again, if anybody wants to join us, our email address is chrisonson at gmail .com.
- 21:17

- 21:31
- Don't go away. We'll be right back with Justin Peters and Andrew Rappaport right after these messages from a sponsor.
- 21:43
- When Iron Sharpens Iron Radio first launched in 2005, the publishers of the
- 21:48
- New American Standard Bible were among my very first sponsors. It gives me joy knowing that many scholars and pastors in the
- 21:56
- Iron Sharpens Iron Radio audience have been sticking with, or switching to, the
- 22:01
- NASB. I'm author Gary DeMar, president of American Vision, and the
- 22:07
- NASB is my Bible of choice. I'm Pastor Dan Lubenick of West Hills Baptist Church in Huntington Station, New York, and the
- 22:14

- Hi, I'm Buzz Taylor, frequent co -host with Chris Arnson on Iron Shepard's Iron Radio.
- 29:47
- I would like to introduce you to my good friends Todd and Patty Jennings at CVBBS, which stands for Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service.
- 29:54
- Todd and Patty specialize in supplying Reformed and Puritan books and Bibles at discount prices that make them affordable to everyone.
- 30:02
- Since 1987, the family -owned and operated book service has sought to bring you the best available
- 30:07
- Christian books and Bibles at the best possible prices. Unlike other book sites, they make no effort to provide every book that is available because, frankly, much of what is being printed is not worth your time.
- 30:20

- Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Bhanu Gadi. I'm a pharmacist in New York, which is the epicenter of the latest crisis the world is going through.
- 32:19
- In Psalm 139 verse 14, the psalmist offers praise to the Lord like this,
- 32:24
- I praise you because I'm fearfully and wonderfully made and wondrous are your works that my soul knows very well.
- 32:31
- He saw God's goodness and mercy, kindness, and the beauty in what
- 32:36
- God has designed and he has erupted into praise. In any crisis or problem, brothers and sisters, our only fallback position is to trust
- 32:46
- God's design. And once we do, there is nothing for us to do but to erupt in praise to him.
- 32:53
- When the whole world is searching for a solution, God in his infinite mercy has given us what we need to address this illness, which can be very serious.
- 33:03
- Such is the beauty of his design. Knowing that design, how can we not erupt in praise to our great
- 33:09
- God like the psalmist did? May God bless you and give all of us wisdom to see greater things in his design.
- 33:16
- Thank you. I'm Dr.
- 33:32
- Tony Costa, Professor of Apologetics and Islam at Toronto Baptist Seminary. I'm thrilled to introduce to you a church where I've been invited to speak and have grown to love,
- 33:43
- Hope Reform Baptist Church in Corham, Long Island, New York, pastored by Rich Jensen and Christopher McDowell.
- 33:50
- It's such a joy to witness and experience fellowship with people of God like the dear saints at Hope Reform Baptist Church in Corham, who have an intensely passionate desire to continue digging deeper and deeper into the unfathomable riches of Christ in his holy word, and to enthusiastically proclaim
- 34:08
- Christ Jesus the King and his doctrines of sovereign grace in Suffolk County, Long Island, and beyond.
- 34:15
- I hope you also have the privilege of discovering this precious congregation and receive the blessing of being showered by their love, as I have.

- 35:03
- Iron Sharpens Iron Radio depends upon the financial support of fine Christian organizations to remain on the air, like the
- 35:10
- Historical Bible Society. The Historical Bible Society maintains a collection of Christian books, manuscripts, and Bibles of historical significance spanning nearly a thousand years.
- 35:22
- The mission of HBS is the preservation and public display of ancient scripture, dissemination of scripture, to provide tools equipping believers and Christian apologetics with evidence for the
- 35:33
- Bible's reliability, and to introduce Reformation literature and Christian art to a broader audience.
- 35:40
- Since 2004, HBS has toured schools and churches throughout the Northeast United States, reaching thousands of believers and non -believers alike who are hungry for knowledge of the
- 35:51
- Bible. HBS's founder, Daniel P. Buttafuoco, attorney at law, is committed to sharing this collection, along with an inspirational historical message that will captivate you and your church.
- 36:03
- Come journey through their website, historicalbiblesociety .org. The collection includes a complete 11th century
- 36:11
- Bible, an actual page of the Gutenberg Bible from 1455, the first book ever printed, the
- 36:18
- Geneva Bible, the 1611 King James Bible, and much, much more. Visit historicalbiblesociety .org
- 36:25
- today. Thank you, Daniel P. Buttafuoco, attorney at law, for your faithful support of Iron Sharpens Iron Radio.
- 36:32
- And don't forget, folks, if you send in a donation to the
- 36:38
- Historical Bible Society, which is a not -for -profit organization, $35 or more will get you a beautiful 9 -by -12, 44 -page book called
- 36:51
- The Genealogies, which include the genealogies of Jesus Christ himself.
- 36:56
- And what makes this such a beautiful 44 -page book and very large in dimension, 9 -by -12, is that the genealogies, the artwork involved in the genealogies, is taken directly from a print of a first edition 1611
- 37:14
- King James Bible, which is a part of the collection at the Historical Bible Society. So why not say thanks to them for renewing their advertising contract with us?
- 37:26
- By sending in a gift of a minimum of $35, and you will get this book, 44 -page book, 9 -by -12,
- 37:34
- The Genealogies, which include the genealogies of Jesus Christ. And the website to find out more about that is historicalbiblesociety .org,
- 37:45
- historicalbiblesociety .org. We want to thank Dan Buttafuoco, attorney at law and the founder of the
- 37:52
- Historical Bible Society, for renewing his advertising contract with us, and for helping Iron Sharpens Iron Radio remain in existence.
- 38:00
- We are now back with my guest Justin Peters of Justin Peters Ministries, and also co -hosting the program with me is
- 38:10
- Andrew Rappaport. And of course, Andrew, whenever you have a question that you'd like to ask
- 38:16
- Justin, you don't have to wait on me to identify you, because I can't see you,
- 38:21
- I can't see your facial expressions or see you waving your arms or anything. So when you sense a lull in the conversation, if you have a question, please chime in immediately, or if you even want to add to an answer that Justin gives.
- 38:36
- Now, set up the next clip that we're about to hear. Justin.
- 38:43
- Sure, sure, Chris. This next clip is of Tracy Cook, and he is a frequent guest on Sid Rolfe's program,
- 38:51
- It's Supernatural. And Tracy is discussing a prophetic dream that God gave him about the election.
- 38:58
- This was, of course, before the election occurred. Briefly tell me this vision of the wounded eagle.
- 39:06
- Well, Sid, I was in a season of fasting, and during that time of fasting, he took me to the heavenlies, and I saw this eagle.
- 39:15
- And the left side of this eagle... The eagle represents what? The United States of America.
- 39:20
- Okay. And I saw where this left wing had dropped and was battered and bruised and wounded deeply, but it had an
- 39:27
- American flag wrapped around it like a banner. You take a normal banner on your wounds. Okay.
- 39:34
- Why don't I give some commentary on that? Okay. Sure, Chris. So the point in putting that clip in is that if you watch these folks, watch these so -called prophets, they spend far, far, far more time exegeting their dreams than they do exegeting
- 39:51
- Scripture. And this is one of the primary issues here, is that these folks are not known for opening up the
- 39:59
- Word of God, reading and explaining the text. They don't do that. They don't exegete
- 40:04
- Scripture, they exegete their dreams. And whatever dream they have, they relate the dream to you.
- 40:10
- Who knows if it's even a real dream or not? I mean, a lot of these folks just make it up off the top of their heads.
- 40:16
- But even if it was, you cannot exegete a dream.
- 40:22
- That's what they do, and people are walking after these charlatans, hungry to hear about their latest dream that God supposedly gave them.
- 40:31
- And they're not being taught Scripture. They're just being led astray by the products of their own vain imaginations that are coming off their heads as false prophets.
- 40:44
- That's one of the primary issues here, is that they spend far more time telling you about their latest dream, latest vision, and not going to the
- 40:53
- Word of God. Okay, you want to set up the next clip that we're about to hear?
- 41:02
- Okay, so the next one is of Mark Taylor. Mark Taylor is a fireman by profession.
- 41:09
- He made a lot of use of Charismatic World back before the 2016 election, because he said that God told him that Donald Trump would win in 2016, and he wrote a book entitled
- 41:22
- The Trump Prophecies. And of course, sure enough, Donald Trump did win in 2016. And so that gained him a lot of charismatic credibility,
- 41:33
- I suppose. And so this is a clip of Mark Taylor saying who
- 41:38
- God told him would win in 2020. Will it be an eight -year presidency?
- 41:47
- Absolutely. Absolutely, we will. You're sure about that? Yeah, I'm sure about that. I think you need clip number six.
- 41:56
- Okay. Yeah, no, that's the one. That was Mark Taylor. And clip number six, yeah, we'll go to here in just a second, which is absolute blasphemy.
- 42:06
- But Mark Taylor is one of the more well -known prophets, and God told him that Trump would absolutely win in the year 2020.
- 42:15
- And obviously, that did not happen. These people are false prophets. They are all false prophets.
- 42:22
- Andrew, do you have anything you want to say? No, I'm going to wait for the next question.
- 42:28
- In fact, just to follow up on that myself, Justin, we had in an earlier conversation, but for the sake of those who didn't hear that conversation, when things like this happen, when, like, for instance, you have these prophets, these false prophets, declaring with certainty that Donald Trump was going to win his second term, and Joe Biden is now our president, do they fall back on the excuse that, yes, indeed, it is true that Biden is now officially in the
- 43:08
- White House, but he did so by fraud, and Donald Trump actually did win the election.
- 43:15
- So they will say that their prophecy stands as a correct prophecy.
- 43:21
- Do you have that as an excuse, that people hurl at you or that respond to any opponent?
- 43:29
- Yes, that's one of their most common excuses to explain away their false prophecy, oh, well, Trump really won, it was just stolen from him.
- 43:36
- Well, as I said earlier, that doesn't hold water, because if God was truly speaking to you and giving you visions, he would have given you a vision about how the election would be stolen, and none of them said that.
- 43:49
- But they are simply trying to extricate themselves from these holes. But here's another thing,
- 43:56
- Chris, is that not only did they prophesy that Trump would win, but they also specifically prophesied that he would serve a consecutive term, not even a second term four years from now, maybe he runs again in 2024, but they prophesied he would serve two consecutive terms, and at least one of them, a lady named
- 44:17
- Kat Kerr, she specifically prophesied that Trump would serve two consecutive terms, and then
- 44:23
- Mike Pence would serve two consecutive terms after Trump.
- 44:30
- So, yeah, they're trying to, to use a southern term here, they're trying to crawfish their way out of their false prophecies, but they're just unable to do it.
- 44:41
- Yeah, I never heard that expression before. Okay, we'll set up this next clip that Andrew also seemed to be anxious to hear.
- 44:52
- Yeah, so, okay, so this clip is taken from the International Church in Las Vegas, and it's pastored by a husband and wife team, and we're about to hear
- 45:05
- Denise, the husband's wife, I can't remember the husband's name especially at the moment, but anyway, Denise, she is co -pastor along with her husband.
- 45:14
- That right there is an indication, you know, I mean, anytime you see a church that is pastored, or even co -pastored by a woman, you know you're not dealing with a true biblical church, but anyway, they have
- 45:27
- Donald Trump in their church as their special guest, and Donald Trump is going to walk up onto the platform, you can see this if you're watching video, but he's going to walk up on the platform, and Denise Goulet, the co -pastor here, is about to speak in the first person for God, as though she is channeling
- 45:49
- God, and she's about to say something over Donald Trump. What I was hearing the
- 45:57
- Lord say. Okay, so this is a pastor, Denise Goulet again, that we talked about a little bit earlier.
- 46:03
- Notice that she says she is hearing the Lord say the following to her, this is not out of her own imagination, or her own opinion, this is what
- 46:14
- Yahweh is telling her. It was, this is my son with whom
- 46:24
- I'm well. Okay, you want to follow up with that clip, with some explanation?
- 46:32
- Yeah. She channeled God and said of Donald Trump, speaking for God, this is my son in whom
- 46:40
- I am well. Wow, that sounds a lot like the pastor of the church which was at one time
- 46:51
- Martin Luther King Jr.'s church where he pastored, that pastor who preached at John Lewis's funeral, and was saying that by John Lewis's stripes we as a nation are healed.
- 47:08
- Very blasphemous stuff, but this case, what you just played, this prophetess
- 47:16
- Denise, this is worse because this isn't just an analogy, this is her actually hearing this allegedly from God himself.
- 47:27
- Yes, yes, this is her hearing from God himself. God is supposedly saying these words over Donald Trump, the same words that God said of his son
- 47:37
- Jesus Christ at his baptism and his transfiguration. That is blasphemy of the highest, highest order.
- 47:48
- I mean, that is just, I said in my, I did a video on this on my YouTube channel, and I said the very fact that that church, that building did not collapse and kill everyone in there when she said that is a testimony to the patience and forbearance of God.
- 48:04
- That is such utter, utter blasphemy. Well Justin, it seems to be blasphemy on so many different levels, not just that she is saying she speaks for God, that God is channeling through her, but also it's blasphemy to assume or even imply that Donald Trump, of all people,
- 48:25
- Donald Trump is Jesus Christ, that he's the son referred to.
- 48:32
- Yeah. Is this common that you see with these people, that A, they channel God, and then
- 48:37
- B, that they start to attribute quotes that are referring to the unique son of God and apply them to people like Donald Trump?
- 48:49
- Yes, it is common, Andrew. Unfortunately, it is common. This is not an unusual thing in this movement, in the
- 48:58
- Word of Faith movement. This is not a one -off, and it's really reflective of their
- 49:03
- God's doctrine. They believe that if you are a Christian, you are a little God, which is very similar to what
- 49:10
- Mormonism teaches, but it's packaged a little bit differently. So, you know, it truly is,
- 49:17
- I say this often in my teaching, it is an incredible irony that these people who claim to have such a high view of the
- 49:26
- Holy Spirit, and they would look at people like the three of us having our conversation here, who are cessationists, they would look at us and say, oh, you don't believe in the
- 49:37
- Holy Spirit, you don't believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. To the contrary, I am, as a cessationist,
- 49:43
- I am so confident in the person and the power of the Holy Spirit of God that I do not believe someone can be indwelt by it and teach the kind of heresies they teach, utter the kind of blasphemies they utter, and not be convicted.
- 50:01
- If she was truly indwelt by the Holy Spirit, then the Holy Spirit of God would have dropped her to her knees at the very moment those words crossed her lips, before they even crossed her lips.
- 50:14
- I mean, and the fact that she can teach such heresies, blood -curdling heresies, and feel no conviction, and just go on, you know, like she was just telling somebody at the time of day, no big deal.
- 50:28
- That is a testimony to the fact that she's not indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God. So it's truly ironic that it's these people who have a low, very low, very diminished view of the
- 50:41
- Holy Spirit, not us. Well, we have to go to a midway break right now, and folks, please be patient with us, because the midway break in the show is the break that's a little bit longer than the others, because Grace Life Radio, 90 .1
- 50:56
- FM in Lake City, Florida, requires of us a longer break in the middle of the show, because they are required of the
- 51:01
- FCC to air their own public service announcements during this break, which localizes
- 51:08
- Iron Trump and Zion Radio to Lake City, Florida, geographically. While they do that, we simultaneously air our globally heard commercials.
- 51:18
- So please use this time wisely. Please don't every time, this is for those that listen to the recording of the show, please don't fast forward through the commercials every single time you're listening to the show.
- 51:31
- I can understand you doing it once in a while, but please not every time, because by fast forwarding through the commercials, you're not hearing the commercials, and you're not going to be responding to the commercials.
- 51:43
- We depend on these ads to exist, and even if you cannot patronize them by buying a product or purchasing a service or visiting a church, at the very least, you can respond to these ads by thanking the sponsor for sponsoring
- 52:02
- Iron Trump and Zion Radio. That will go a long way, I believe, in keeping them happy, our advertisers that is, so that they remain our advertisers, and continue to keep this program on the air through their financial support.
- 52:18
- So please respond to our advertisers as much as you can, even if it just means thanking them.
- 52:26
- And also, send in questions for Justin Peters on these false prophets, or on the whole concept of extra -biblical divine revelation and modern -day prophecy.
- 52:38
- And our email address is chrisonson at gmail .com, chrisonson at gmail .com. Don't go away,
- 52:44
- God willing, we will be right back after these messages from our sponsors. Was your business shut down during the

- COVID -19 pandemic, depriving you of earning any money, causing you to default on your rent as you try to survive without income?
- 53:14
- Maybe you've had to close your doors for good. The good news, you thought, was that you purchased business interruption insurance as a part of your business liability policy with a major insurance company who told you they are a good neighbor, or that you would be in good hands.
- 53:33
- You filed a claim only to be told that it was denied due to the pandemic exclusion clause.
- 53:40
- The pandemic exclusion? Since 2006, most insurance companies added this clause to enable them to deny your income loss claims in the event of a worldwide pandemic.

- 55:27
- A church I've been strongly recommending as far back as the 1980s is Grace Covenant Baptist Church in Flemington, New Jersey, pastored by Alan Dunn.
- 55:37
- Grace Covenant Baptist Church believes it's God's prerogative to determine how he shall be worshiped and how he shall be represented in the world.
- 55:45
- They believe churches need to turn to the Bible to discover what to include in worship and how to worship
- 55:51
- God in spirit and truth. Grace Covenant Baptist Church endeavors to maintain a
- 55:56
- God -centered focus. Reading, preaching, and hearing the Word of God, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, baptism, and communion are the scriptural elements of their corporate worship, performed with faith, joy, and sobriety.

- 56:50
- John Sampson, pastor of King's Church in Peoria, Arizona, taking a moment of your day to talk about Chris Arnson and the
- 56:57
- Iron Sharpens Iron podcast. I consider Chris a true friend and a man of high integrity. He's a skilled interviewer who's not afraid to ask the big penetrating questions, while always defending the key doctrines of the
- 57:09
- Christian faith. I've always been happy to point people to this podcast knowing it's one of the very few safe places on the internet where folk won't be led astray.
- 57:18
- I believe this podcast needs to be heard far and wide. This is a day of great spiritual compromise, and yet God has raised
- 57:25
- Chris up for just such a time, and knowing this, it's up to us as members of the body of Christ to stand with such a ministry in prayer and in finances.
- 57:34
- I'm pleased to do so, and would like to ask you to prayerfully consider joining me in supporting

- Iron Sharpens Iron financially. Would you consider sending either a one -time gift, or even becoming a regular monthly partner with this ministry?

- Before we return to our discussion, we just have a couple of announcements, and I understand that my co -host today,
- 01:04:09
- Andrew Rappaport of Striving for Eternity, has something that he wants to say. Yeah, I want to let you guys know who are listening.
- 01:04:17
- I'm a listener too of Iron Sharpens Iron just like you, and the thing is that we can't have good interviews like this, good programs like this without help.
- 01:04:27
- Now, I happen to be a co -host today, but I'm usually a listener like you, so I'm asking you if you'd consider supporting this program.
- 01:04:36
- Go to Iron Sharpens Iron. Go to the website. Please consider donating, and here's the reason that's so important, and not just a one -time gift, but a monthly gift because, well, the expenses are monthly, but the reason that's important is the more support we can give to this program, the more this program can do, the more that it'll be able to reach people, the more that they will be able to continue having those expenses.
- 01:05:02
- Computer equipment, radio time, things like this, it's not an inexpensive thing to do what this program does, and there's not many reformed programs that do this.
- 01:05:12
- Chris is probably one of the premier interviewers out there, and we would like to see more of Iron Sharpens Iron, and we can only do so with your help.
- 01:05:23
- So, please consider helping out with a monthly donation today. It's just something that you can do to continue the work of God here on earth.
- 01:05:32
- So, thank you for letting me say that. I appreciate that, and Andrew Rappaport had a 44
- 01:05:37
- Magnum held to his temple until he finished that entire statement. What happened with you,
- 01:05:44
- Chris? I'm sorry. I didn't understand a word you just said.
- 01:05:49
- I'm sorry. My martial arts background will take care of it. I'm not worried about you and your gut.
- 01:05:55
- Okay. And I just want folks to remember, if you want to donate, go to ironsharpensironradio .com,
- 01:06:04
- click support, then click, click to donate now, and you can donate instantly in that fashion, and if you prefer mailing a check, a physical address will appear on your screen where you can mail the check made out to Iron Sharpens Iron Radio.
- 01:06:19
- Also, I want you folks to remember that if you are not a member of a local
- 01:06:25
- Bible -believing church and you're having a hard time finding one, no matter where on the planet earth you live,
- 01:06:31
- I may be able to help you find a church, sometimes even within minutes from your house, as I have done on many occasions for people all over the globe who listen to this program.
- 01:06:42
- I have very extensive lists of churches that are sound all over the world, and hopefully
- 01:06:48
- I'll be able to help you find a church as well if you don't have a church home that is biblically sound. Send me an email to chrisarnson at gmail .com,
- 01:06:57
- chrisarnson at gmail .com, and put I need a church in the subject line.
- 01:07:02
- Also folks, if you want to advertise with us, as long as whatever it is you're promoting is compatible with what
- 01:07:09
- I believe, you don't have to believe identically with me, but you need to be promoting something that is the very least compatible with what
- 01:07:15
- I believe, then send me an email to chrisarnson at gmail .com and put advertising in the subject line.
- 01:07:21
- I truly urgently do need your advertising dollars to add to what we already have.
- 01:07:27
- The coronavirus pandemic hysteria that has hurt many careers and livelihoods and people in our audience has unfortunately resulted in us receiving less donations every month, and the advertising has kind of thinned out as well, where the advertisers that we have are out of necessity sometimes spending less.
- 01:07:52
- So please help us replenish that lost income, and if it means advertising, send us an email to chrisarnson at gmail .com
- 01:08:00
- and put advertising in the subject line. I would love to help you launch an ad campaign immediately. That's also the email address where you can send in a question to Justin Peters.
- 01:08:09
- That's chrisarnson at gmail .com, chrisarnson at gmail .com, and give us your first name at least, your city and state of residence, and your country of residence.
- 01:08:18
- We do have a couple of listeners that I want to get to before we air any more clips, Justin. We have, first of all, a first -time questioner,
- 01:08:27
- Casey in Swartz, Louisiana, and he actually brings up something that we covered in our first interview back in January on this subject.
- 01:08:41
- Casey says, many otherwise solid evangelical pastors will condemn the charismatic prophets, and then later in the same sermon will say that God told me this or that.
- 01:08:53
- How can you broach with a pastor that the revelation is only different in degree from the false prophet's prophecy?
- 01:09:03
- Yeah, Chris, that's an interesting and great question, because this gentleman is right.
- 01:09:11
- He's exactly right. We will condemn and rightly so the false prophets, but then turn around and say,
- 01:09:17
- Lord showed me or Lord told me. I think a lot of this is being just careless with our language and careless and imprecise with the terminology that we use.
- 01:09:30
- We need to really take a step back and think about the gravity of what we are implying.
- 01:09:37
- If you say the Lord told me, then you better be absolutely sure that He actually told you that.
- 01:09:45
- Of course, my theology, I don't believe that He is speaking that way. So, it is a difference of degree, you're right, and it is a very, very serious thing.
- 01:09:55
- So, I really would again commend Jim Osmond's book, God Doesn't Whisper. To work through those issues would be very helpful, but we really need to be more precise with our language, because that's a very valid point.
- 01:10:10
- And Casey, since you are a first -time questioner, you have just won a brand new
- 01:10:16
- New American Standard Bible, which is obviously one of my guest
- 01:10:22
- Justin Peter's favorite translations. In fact, it is his favorite of all translations, since he actually participated in our ad campaign for the
- 01:10:30
- NASB, as you heard in the show from a commercial we aired earlier. So, please make sure that we have your full mailing address in Swartz, Louisiana, so that CVBBS .com,
- 01:10:42
- Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service, can ship that Bible out to you as soon as possible. And we want to thank the publishers of the
- 01:10:49
- NASB, NASBible .com, NASBible .com
- 01:10:55
- for providing us with these Bibles that we give away to first -time questioners, and also for renewing their advertising contract with Onion, Sharp, and Zion Radio.
- 01:11:04
- Their renewal of advertising was desperately needed, and I'm thanking God for them that they came through.
- 01:11:13
- Let me ask a follow -up question about that. I have heard men of God who believe identically in most areas with you and I, Justin.
- 01:11:26
- I'm talking about real solid men, published authors, published by perhaps even some of the finest
- 01:11:33
- Reformed publishing houses, people who have spoken at major Reformed conferences.
- 01:11:40
- Let me give you an example of the kind of thing that I have heard sometimes, and I have never found a problem with this, but maybe you would.
- 01:11:49
- As an example, you might have a man ascend into a pulpit, and he might say something like,
- 01:11:56
- I was supposed to preach from the Gospel of John today. That's what my assigned text was going to be,
- 01:12:05
- John 1 .1. But because of circumstances that have been happening today, I feel that the
- 01:12:11
- Lord has pressed it upon my heart to preach on something different, and therefore we're going to preach on the first Gospel of Luke, or what have you, any other text that might even pop into your head, you can fill in the blank.
- 01:12:29
- Is there anything wrong with saying something like that? Because if we believe in a sovereign God who is in control over all things, is it wrong to say that we believe that God pressed it upon our heart to do this or that?
- 01:12:46
- Well, Chris, even with that, and I understand the sentiment behind it, but even with that, I would be careful, because if it were me,
- 01:12:56
- I would say something more like, you know, I was supposed to preach on this text, but in my study, my attention and my heart is captured by this, and I would prefer us to look at this rather than ascribing that to God.
- 01:13:15
- It could be, but maybe it's not. And I affirm that God can, to use the term, lay things on our heart or give us a burden for someone or something.
- 01:13:27
- But I don't have a problem with him doing that and acknowledging that he does that, but we don't have a mechanism somewhere inside of our noggin to know when he's doing that or not.
- 01:13:40
- And sometimes I give the example of one of my childhood friends is a guy named Chad Stewart from Mississippi. He and I grew up together, but out now in Montana.
- 01:13:49
- I hardly ever see Chad. But from time to time, I'll think about Chad, and maybe I'll pray for Chad.
- 01:13:55
- Is that God bringing Chad to my memory? I don't know. Maybe I just thought about Chad.
- 01:14:02
- So, maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I have no way of knowing that. So, I would just put it in different terms.
- 01:14:09
- This other text has really captured my mind and my heart over the last several days, and I would like us to turn our attention to it, rather than definitively saying,
- 01:14:21
- God led me to preach this other text. We have, let me get...
- 01:14:28
- Sure, go ahead. A lot of people use that term, hey, the Lord put it on my heart to speak on such and such, and they haven't really studied that passage out.
- 01:14:39
- So, I think that we hear that a lot as this is something from the
- 01:14:45
- Lord because I'm just doing this now, but they haven't studied. What would be your opinion then, even if they use the language like you're saying, to go in and change the message from one they did study, which
- 01:14:58
- I hope they did, to one that maybe they didn't. Should they go and do something like that? No, I would never encourage anyone to preach a passage that they have not really studied.
- 01:15:12
- Yeah, no, I would never do that. That's always a dangerous thing to do. So, you've just described every single
- 01:15:18
- Word of Faith preacher. Yeah. Perhaps that was an exaggeration, but it's hilarious, and perhaps it shouldn't be, but it is insane the way you will hear preachers take a text and derive from that text through a lot of exaggerations, something that was never intended by the original author, and something that shouldn't even be spoken on from that as a starting point at all.
- 01:15:57
- Right, yeah, that's right. Now, we have a listener in Cork, Ireland. I've been seeing some movies lately that have been filmed in Ireland, and Cork, Ireland has been coming up usually in a negative way.
- 01:16:14
- But we have Mary in Cork, Ireland, who says, Hi, Chris and Justin.
- 01:16:21
- Justin, I am a regular listener of yours. It's kind of interesting how Mary doesn't say anything about Iron Sharpens Iron Radio.
- 01:16:27
- She says, Justin, I am a regular listener of yours. I had the pleasure of meeting you at Iron Sharpens Iron Radio's pastor's luncheon on clouds without water in Pennsylvania.
- 01:16:41
- Yes, that's right. Mary from Cork, Ireland was volunteering in the kitchen serving food that day.
- 01:16:47
- She was visiting relatives. She was visiting relatives in America and in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to be more specific, and she volunteered, and I remember,
- 01:16:56
- I believe I was the one that took a photograph of you two together. But she says,
- 01:17:02
- I remember I was doing an assignment at the time on wolves in sheep's clothing, a subject that is dear to my own heart.
- 01:17:11
- Yes, Mary is also a student at the Munster Bible College in Ireland that has had a lot of fine, reformed visiting preachers and adjunct professors involved there.
- 01:17:24
- And I also know from what Mary has told me, since she is against women in the ministry or women pastors and so on, that that was not, that is not her goal for studying there, so I want everybody to calm down and relax about that.
- 01:17:39
- She says, I'm very thankful for your ministry exposing the false prophets, false teachers, and charlatans.
- 01:17:46
- The verse, and my people love it this way, in Jeremiah chapter 5, 30 through 31, never ceases to amaze me.
- 01:17:53
- It is sickening. So here is a ridiculous question in the same vein.
- 01:17:59
- Do you think if the so -called prophets of God were Democrats, would they still have prophesied that President Trump would win the next term?
- 01:18:11
- Yeah, Mary, hello. I do remember meeting you, Mary. I certainly do.
- 01:18:16
- And I remember even us getting our picture made together. Delighted to hear from you. Thank you so much, sister. Yeah, that's a great question.
- 01:18:23
- I think it's a very astute observation, because if they were Democrats, yeah, no, I think they would absolutely have prophesied that Biden would win.
- 01:18:31
- I mean, they're prophesying. What's going on, Chris, and Mary, is exactly what
- 01:18:37
- God said of false prophets in Jeremiah, well, in Ezekiel and Jeremiah.
- 01:18:43
- But God, I have Jeremiah in front of me. And God says in Jeremiah chapter 23, yes, declares the
- 01:18:50
- Lord. I am against the prophets who wag their own tongues and yet declare, the Lord declares.
- 01:18:55
- I am against those who prophesy false dreams. They tell them and lead my people astray with reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them.
- 01:19:05
- They do not benefit these people in the least, declares the Lord. And then in Ezekiel, along the same vein,
- 01:19:13
- God speaking again, he says, son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are now prophesying out of their own imagination.
- 01:19:22
- So that's what's going, these people are prophesying out of their own imagination. They're false visions, they are leading people astray, and they're lying divinations, and they're prophesying what they want to be reality, rather than what
- 01:19:39
- God actually says, which of course, he's not talking to them anyway, but they're just prophesying what they want to have happen.
- 01:19:47
- Well, you just brought something up very crucial, that for some reason, it didn't dawn on me, either in part one or today until just now.
- 01:19:57
- If these charlatans, or these so -called prophets of the
- 01:20:02
- Word of Faith movement really did, and it's obvious that at least the ones that we've been hearing from in the media, they really, really did want
- 01:20:12
- President Trump to be reelected. And just for the record, so did
- 01:20:17
- I, especially when compared to the competition, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
- 01:20:24
- But why isn't he president? If the Word of Faith movement is true, if you have strong enough faith, what you desire and pray for, or in their case, even command of God to do, why isn't
- 01:20:40
- Trump the president? Exactly. Exactly.
- 01:20:45
- If their prophecies were true, then he would be. Or even beyond the prophecy, just because they wanted him to be.
- 01:20:52
- And these are people who would claim to have strong faith, I'm assuming, right?
- 01:20:58
- None of them had faith strong enough to bring the election of Donald Trump into reality. And I...
- 01:21:08
- Sorry, say that one more time. Even if they never made a prophecy, the fact that these
- 01:21:14
- Word of Faith teachers wanted, very desperately, urgently, excitedly, enthusiastically wanted
- 01:21:21
- Donald Trump to be reelected, because of that very fact, according to their theology, he should have been elected.
- 01:21:29
- Because isn't... Oh, yeah. As an unanswered prayer, or as it is sometimes even a command to God that they make,
- 01:21:37
- I demand that this disease go away. Why isn't
- 01:21:44
- Trump our president if these people have strong enough faith? I mean, doesn't that go hand in hand with their whole theology?
- 01:21:49
- Theology? It absolutely does, because they believe that they can name it and claim it, whatever they want.
- 01:21:58
- They decree it, they claim it as reality, even though it's not, and it will become physical reality.
- 01:22:04
- So, yeah, you're absolutely right. In fact, Paula White, who has been, tragically, one of Trump's close spiritual advisors, there's this video that went viral on the internet of decreeing angels to come over from Africa to reverse the election, and all that.
- 01:22:25
- No, she's decreeing it, declaring it to happen, and that's Word of Faith theology in action, but of course we see that it has fallen on its face.
- 01:22:35
- Yes, you're exactly right, it would be in agreement with their theology. Okay, now Mary has one last question, and this is an interesting question, because the person that she mentions is, or should
- 01:22:49
- I say was, he has passed away several years ago, but he was a very fierce opponent of the
- 01:23:00
- Word of Faith movement. He despised the Word of Faith movement as heresy, and yet he was a charismatic who had prophecies, and claimed,
- 01:23:11
- I should say, to have prophecies and extra -biblical revelation. But Mary asks, also on the subject of prophecy, have you ever listened to David Wilkerson, the
- 01:23:23
- David Wilkerson prophecy in 1973? And apparently people have,
- 01:23:30
- I don't even, I don't think I've read or heard this prophecy, but I've heard people say that everything he said came to be, and it was an uncanny and remarkable way of, it was uncanny and remarkable that he knew things that he shouldn't have otherwise known that came to be, that kind of thing.
- 01:23:51
- Have you heard or read this 1973 prophecy of David Wilkerson? I don't know that I've read that specific one.
- 01:23:59
- I have heard of another prophecy that he supposedly made about kind of looking forward to 9 -11, that he prophesied that.
- 01:24:07
- I'm not sure if that's the 1973. It sounds way too old, but I have read one of his prophecies that supposedly came true, and it was just kind of, it was very vague in general, and yeah,
- 01:24:24
- I guess with some of the events that happened after this prophecy was made, you could probably look back and isogy that and make it fit the prophecy, but it was still of a very general nature.
- 01:24:40
- It wasn't anything really specific. Yeah, people have said the same thing about Nostradamus. Yeah, exactly.
- 01:24:48
- It's the Nostradamus effect. I mean, with some hindsight, you know, you can make it, you can kind of make some things vaguely fit and say, oh, it's a fulfilled prophecy, but it's, that's, that does not at all rise to the biblical standard of prophets.
- 01:25:01
- I mean, I could, for one thing, these people have so many prophecies, I mean, thousands of them, just dumb luck.
- 01:25:09
- Chances are, you know, a couple of them are bound to be come true, not because they have any prophetic insight, but just the law of averages.
- 01:25:19
- You know, if I were to prophesy, hey, you know, I really believe the Lord is telling me that there's going to be an earthquake in California in August of 2021, well,
- 01:25:29
- I've got a pretty good chance that's going to happen. Andrew, you want to say something?
- 01:25:41
- Yeah, I knew someone in college and she used to follow the horoscopes every day. It was true every day.
- 01:25:46
- And what I did was for a full month, I made her read all 12 of the horoscopes and she realized every day, all of them are right.
- 01:25:52
- And I think it's really just in what you said. She's eisegeting, reading into the text, reading into it something that it's like, oh, this is going to happen.
- 01:26:02
- Oh, look, that happened. And they're so vague. But we find that with some of these false teachers, they're not vague.
- 01:26:10
- I mean, they're being really specific. It's not just that Donald Trump was going to win. He was going to be eight consecutive, or, you know, eight consecutive years that he was going to remain as president in the
- 01:26:21
- White House. They're not being vague about some of their prophecies.
- 01:26:27
- And yet, when they're wrong, it doesn't seem that anyone calls them out on it other than anyone from their own camp.
- 01:26:33
- Why is that? Because they're charlatans. And their followers are charlatans.
- 01:26:40
- Their followers, or at the very least, their followers do not believe in honoring the
- 01:26:47
- Word of God or God first. Wouldn't you say that they have made idols of these people,
- 01:26:53
- Justin? Many of them, anyway. Oh, yes, absolutely. Absolutely.
- 01:27:00
- The folks who follow Binningham and Kenneth Copeland and Hank Kuhneman and Kat Kerr and Jeremiah Johnson and all these so -called prophets, they're not spending their time in Scripture.
- 01:27:12
- They're not reading and studying, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. They're not laboring in the Word. They're flocking after the latest dream, the latest vision.
- 01:27:22
- And so, anything that serves to divert our attention away from the written
- 01:27:28
- Word of God is not the work of the author of Scripture, namely
- 01:27:35
- God. So, anything that diverts our attention away from Scripture is not the work of the author of that Scripture.
- 01:27:41
- And so, this is—I have no problem at all saying that these people are being used by Satan to divert people away from Scripture.
- 01:27:53
- And they can fall too happy for people to be religious. And of course, and of course, there are people who are very new, infants in the faith, who start their
- 01:28:06
- Christian journey. They might even become saved by hearing the Bible preached by one of these charlatans, because who knows?
- 01:28:17
- Judas may have led folks to Christ. But if they are true believers, eventually they get the idea that these people are not teaching the
- 01:28:31
- Word of God and they leave. I have met people who are saved under Word of Faith ministries, but left.
- 01:28:38
- In fact, one of them actually became a deacon in the church where I was saved. He became not only a
- 01:28:47
- Reformed Baptist, but he became a cessationist. But he was actually a member of a Word of Faith church.
- 01:28:53
- But it's people who, for years, have promoted and supported these false teachers, not only with their time and attention, but their money.
- 01:29:07
- I cannot maintain a sympathetic attitude towards them, as if they're just victims, you know what
- 01:29:14
- I'm saying? That's right. That's right, Chris. And that goes back to what
- 01:29:20
- Mary was saying with Jeremiah chapter 5, they're not victims. Jeremiah 5, God says, and I'm doing this from memory,
- 01:29:27
- I don't have it in front of me, but God says, I have seen a horrible, horrifying thing in the land. The prophets prophesied falsely, the priests rule on their own authority, and my people love it so.
- 01:29:41
- But the reality is, is that there's a lot of people out there who want to be lied to.
- 01:29:47
- They will not endure a sound doctrine. They will eat to themselves teachers who tickle their ears, and they want to be lied to.
- 01:29:54
- And so, there's a big demand for that, and so there's going to be the supply of it as well.
- 01:30:01

- Was your business shut down during the COVID -19 pandemic, depriving you of earning any money, causing you to default on your rent as you try to survive without income?
- 01:33:23
- Maybe you've had to close your doors for good. The good news, you thought, was that you purchased business interruption insurance as a part of your business liability policy with a major insurance company who told you they are a good neighbor or that you would be in good hands.
- 01:33:42
- You filed a claim only to be told that it was denied due to the pandemic exclusion clause.
- 01:33:49
- The pandemic exclusion? Since 2006, most insurance companies added this clause to enable them to deny your income loss claims in the event of a worldwide pandemic.

- Looking for the silver bullet when it comes to health and wellness? Are you frustrated with the medical status quo which masks symptoms and doesn't treat the root problem of sickness?
- 01:38:33
- More importantly, are you looking for one of the most unique books ever written which gives you safe, low -cost, and proven options to regain your health the way
- 01:38:41
- God intended? Then look no further than my new book, Health for All of Life, a medical manifesto of hope and healing for the nations.
- 01:38:49
- Hi, I'm Jason Garwood, and I'm a husband, father, pastor, and writer whose passion for helping people led me to write this book.
- 01:38:56
- If 2020 has proven anything, it's that big pharma, big tech, and big government knows nothing about how to treat people naturally without poisoning them with synthetic drugs and experimental vaccines.
- 01:39:06
- But what if God has given us a better way? What if we can take the Christian worldview found in the Bible and apply it to health and wellness?
- 01:39:13
- My book, Health for All of Life, does just that. You can find this exciting new book on Amazon. Pick up a copy for yourself and for your friends and family.
- 01:39:21
- Give the gift of health and don't be a dead end to truth. I am currently one of the pastors.
- 01:39:55
- I did not know that. That's a development that I didn't hear. I'm sorry about that. Well, I don't mean I'm sorry that you're one of the pastors.
- 01:40:03
- I mean, I'm sorry that I didn't hear about that. That's actually your fault, not mine. But anyway, I understand you have a question for Justin Peters before we air our next clip.
- 01:40:15
- One of the things that come up often is this idea that how do you get all of these people that have prophecies, and they're prophecies that are wrong, but they say they're not false prophets.
- 01:40:29
- And one of the arguments that I heard, even today, was from 2 Samuel 7, 1 -7.
- 01:40:35
- And just to set that up for you, Justin, this is Nathan coming to David, tells him to go build a house for himself, build a house for God, and they say, great.
- 01:40:46
- And then the Lord comes to Nathan and says, no, David is not to build a house for God. And so they're saying
- 01:40:52
- Nathan was wrong, but he's still a prophet. Is this really an example of someone that could be a prophet of God be wrong about a prophecy, and then we should accept this with all these other people that we're talking about today?
- 01:41:08
- Yeah, that's an excellent question, Andrew. In 2 Samuel 7, to sum this up without going through this as quickly as we can, so Nathan said to King David, in verse 3, he said, go do all that is in your mind, for the
- 01:41:23
- Lord is with you. And David wanted to build a temple, and Nathan basically said to David, yeah, that's fine.
- 01:41:29
- Go ahead. The Lord is with you. Go ahead and build it. But then in the next verse, it says, in the same night, the word of the
- 01:41:36
- Lord came to Nathan saying, go and say to my servant, David, this is what the Lord said.
- 01:41:41
- Should you build me a house for my dwelling? In other words, God came to Nathan later that night in a dream and said, no,
- 01:41:49
- I don't want him to do that. And so, oh, was Nathan wrong? Nathan was a real prophet, so he told
- 01:41:54
- David to do it, and then God came and told Nathan not so fast. So basically what this is, is that Nathan was giving
- 01:42:03
- David his opinion in their conversation. He was giving his opinion. Hey, David, yeah, this is what you want to do, man.
- 01:42:10
- Go ahead. Do it. The Lord is with you. Yeah, he never said that it was what
- 01:42:16
- God had told him. Right. Exactly. It was just his opinion. And so we're not saying that a true prophet cannot make a mistake in everyday life.
- 01:42:27
- You know, for example, if, I don't know, if Isaiah was talking to one of his friends one day and said, you know, it looks like it's going to rain today, but it doesn't rain that day, does that make
- 01:42:35
- Isaiah a false prophet? No, because it was just an educated guess. It was his opinion. In fact, it could...
- 01:42:41
- The difference comes again. I was just going to say, it could even be viewed as not being a mistake because of what
- 01:42:52
- Nathan knew at the time, and God just told him, I didn't want, I don't want you to do that, if you follow what
- 01:42:58
- I'm saying. Yeah. Like, for instance, you can't say that the appointment of Judas as an apostle was a mistake, even though he betrayed
- 01:43:07
- Christ, because Christ, the perfect, sinless God -man chose him to be an apostle.
- 01:43:15
- Yeah, that's right. That's right. So, yeah, Nathan was just giving his opinion.
- 01:43:21
- He was not speaking, thus saith the Lord. But anytime a prophet speaks, thus saith the
- 01:43:27
- Lord, this is what God says. He is held to 100 % accuracy on that.
- 01:43:34
- But that's not what's happening in 2 Samuel 7. Okay, now we have another clip. Do you remember where we are in the list,
- 01:43:40
- Justin? Because I'd like to play a couple more clips. Yeah, let's go to number seven.
- 01:43:46
- This is under post -election, Jeremiah Johnson doubling down. We're going to number seven.
- 01:43:53
- Okay. Okay. So, and this is a clip of Jeremiah Johnson, a prophet, who says that God told him
- 01:44:00
- Trump would win. Now, this was made after, what you're about to hear, was made after November 3rd, after the election, and it looked like Biden was going to win, and Jeremiah Johnson came out with some explanation.
- 01:44:13
- And he basically said, nope, we're standing right where we are. I didn't get it wrong. The prophets didn't get it wrong.
- 01:44:19
- This thing's going to be overturned. So that's the shit of that. As someone who is in touch with all the prophets in America who have prophesied that Donald Trump would win a second term, they're not giving an inch.
- 01:44:33
- They're not willing to budge. They're not willing to repent. All of us are unanimous, believing the word that God spoke to us, that Trump indeed would win a re -election.
- 01:44:48
- And we're going to go right into the next clip for the sake of time right now. Trump is going to get in the
- 01:44:55
- White House. I believe that 1 ,000%, I don't have one bit of a doubt. I don't have basketball size ulcers.
- 01:45:02
- I'm not chewing my fingernails to the quick. I'm not going to go to bed tonight and lose one ounce or wink of sleep.
- 01:45:07
- President Trump won. He will be re -elected and inaugurated for a second term, 100%.
- 01:45:13
- Joe Biden did not win. Donald Trump single -handedly won the largest margin victory in the
- 01:45:19
- United States of America. Are you saying that all of this is culminating, and I'm going to press you on this,
- 01:45:27
- Chris, in Donald Trump getting his second term of presidency?
- 01:45:33
- It has to, yes. That's what I hear. Yes. I'm not going to trust in what I see and what
- 01:45:39
- I hear. I'm going to trust in what God said. So, what we just heard are the profits doubling down, even after the election, after everybody was saying
- 01:45:51
- Biden was going to win and the electors and all that, even after all this, they were still doubling down that it was going to be reversed before January 20th, and Trump would win.
- 01:46:01
- And the point of all of this is that how could these profits be so profoundly wrong on something as monumental as the
- 01:46:11
- United States presidential election, an event for which they all had years to prepare to make sure they were hearing
- 01:46:18
- God rightly, and they got it wrong. And even after the election, and they realized they had got it wrong, they doubled down and made their hole even deeper.
- 01:46:31
- So, that tells you that when these people, these profits claim that God is speaking to them,
- 01:46:38
- He's not. He's not. They are not hearing from God. God is not speaking to them.
- 01:46:44
- You have absolutely no reason to believe any of these people when they say, God told me such and such.
- 01:46:50
- If they can't even hear God rightly on something this huge, this major, then why in the world?
- 01:46:56
- There is just no, you would literally have to check your brain at the door to believe that they are hearing
- 01:47:03
- God on anything else. So, they are prophesying out of their own vain imaginations, just like God described the false prophets in Ezekiel 13 and Jeremiah 23.
- 01:47:20
- Okay, set up the next clip. Perhaps I should just play it and you can describe it afterwards, because we're running out of time.
- 01:47:27
- Okay. That's what God meant. He meant that Trump will serve two terms, one then and one in 2024.
- 01:47:37
- That is what happened. And those emails are still passing around saying, that's probably what
- 01:47:42
- God meant. No, that is not what God said, period. He never said that.
- 01:47:48
- He said he would run two consecutive terms. He would be in office when he first announced, before he actually won the first time, he will be in office for eight years, then announce the next eight years, and we can go into that a little bit if you want to.
- 01:48:04
- Okay, nobody in that side has gone to the dark side either. You knew the power of the dark side.
- 01:48:11
- I'll just say, he said eight years for Trump, eight years for Pence, and eight years for whoever he picks as Vice President.
- 01:48:17
- There, I've said it. Well, obviously that little addition there that edited in Darth Vader comment was not a part of the original conversation.
- 01:48:30
- No, that was one of my edits, one of my little points of comic relief in there in the videos.
- 01:48:38
- But yeah, that was Kat Kerr. Kat Kerr is a lady, and Andrew, literally she says she goes to heaven almost every day.
- 01:48:47
- Almost every day. I mean, she goes to heaven more frequently than you and I would go to the, you know, whatever the gas station is.
- 01:48:54
- She goes almost every day. It is a rare day when she does not go to heaven.
- 01:49:03
- And she was being interviewed there by Elijah Strange and also by Kenneth Copeland's ministry. So she claims that God took her into the future to show her who was going to be inaugurated.
- 01:49:17
- I mean, she is just, it is gobsmacking that even after they have been proven to be false, rather than acknowledge it, rather than admit that they missed it, rather than admit that they are false prophets, they just double down.
- 01:49:34
- They double down on it. And it is, at this point, if whoever is following these prophets at this point, they have no one but themselves to blame.
- 01:49:46
- Because a magic eight ball has more prophetic power than any of these people. Well, we are going to play the last two clips back to back and have you give commentary because we really are running out of time.
- 01:49:59
- So here is the next two clips. And Exodus chapter 2 says, in fact, the actual reference
- 01:50:10
- I believe is verse 27, said that God heard their cry and He remembered
- 01:50:17
- His covenant. And I say that because God has remembered His covenant with America. And He is going to remember
- 01:50:23
- His covenant with America. OK, then we are now going to hear our next clip.
- 01:50:32
- And after we heard that covenant with America, here is the final clip of the day.
- 01:50:38
- In the body of Christ for everybody. Here we are talking about prophecy and prophets, that prophecy and prophets were never meant to live in the world of infallibility.
- 01:50:49
- And the truth is when we create a system where we believe that people are supposed to be infallible, think about how crazy that is.
- 01:50:57
- Like, are we actually saying that there is a certain title that you wear that means that everything you say should be taken as being infallible?
- 01:51:07
- You are infallible. As the church lady used to say, well, how convenient.
- 01:51:15
- Isn't that special? Well, if you could sum up those last two clips.
- 01:51:22
- Yeah, so the first one was Hank Kuhneman saying that God will remember His covenant with America.
- 01:51:27
- And I just put that into my video to point out that, dear friends, the only country that God has ever had a covenant with is
- 01:51:34
- Israel. That's it. God has never had a covenant with the United States or Botswana or Luxembourg or, you know,
- 01:51:43
- Argentina. There's only one country that God has ever had a covenant with, and that's
- 01:51:49
- Israel. I am grateful to live in the United States of America, but God does not have a covenant with us.
- 01:51:55
- So that's just a fundamental theological problem with their whole worldview.
- 01:52:01
- And the last one was Chris Vallotton. He is out at Bethel. He's one of the senior leaders at Bethel Church with Bill Johnson.
- 01:52:08
- And he was trying to excuse away, explain away his false prophecy about Trump.
- 01:52:14
- In fact, Chris Vallotton prophesied that Trump would win. Then about two days after the election, he put up an apology.
- 01:52:22
- Then he saw he missed it, but then he realized, hey, there's some legal maneuverings here and challenges. So he brought his apology back down.
- 01:52:30
- He took his video apology down, thinking that Trump might pull it off after all. And then after the electors were certified, then he put it back up again.
- 01:52:42
- So, I mean, this guy doesn't know if he's quit or horseback. He doesn't know if he's going to come in. I mean, he can't even decide whether or not he ought to be apologizing.
- 01:52:49
- It's just comical. If it weren't so serious, it is comical that how badly all of these prophets missed it.
- 01:52:59
- And it's undeniable that they are not hearing from God, period. And we are out of time.
- 01:53:06
- And Andrew Rappaport, you had some announcements about places in the near future where you and Justin will be speaking together.
- 01:53:14
- Yeah, Justin and I are going to be both down at Gula Baptist Church. That's in Wintergarden, Florida. That's going to be
- 01:53:20
- May 7th to the 9th. We're going to be doing our Snatch Them From the Flames seminars, the sermon seminars.
- 01:53:26
- That's going to be a Friday evening, Saturday. And then Justin and I will be speaking on Sunday. We'll also both be at the
- 01:53:33
- Cruciform Conference, which is in Indianapolis area. I don't know the exact location yet, but that is
- 01:53:39
- June 3rd to June 6th. That conference is going to be on Standing Firm.
- 01:53:46
- And then lastly, we're going to be in Israel, October 24th to November 6th. There are still,
- 01:53:52
- I think, about five spots open for that. People can go to IsraelTour2021 .com
- 01:53:57
- if they want to join. Justin and I will both be speaking along with Anthony Espresso, who's one of the other speakers at Striving for Eternity.
- 01:54:04
- That is a longer trip than most due to Israel. We're going to see a lot of places.
- 01:54:09
- I'm sure that's going to be a trip that is a once -in -a -lifetime type of trip. So if you want to see Justin and or I at any of those places,
- 01:54:17
- May 7th in Florida, June 3rd in Indiana, and then in Israel in October, we'd love to see you there.
- 01:54:23
- And remember the two websites of our guest and co -host. Justin Peters' website is justinpeters .org,
- 01:54:31
- justinpeters .org. And Andrew Rappaport's website for Striving for Eternity is strivingforeternity .org,
- 01:54:39
- strivingforeternity .org. I want to thank you both for doing such an excellent job today. I want to thank everybody who listened. And I want you all to always remember for the rest of your lives that Jesus Christ is a far greater
