February 3, 2021 Show with Justin Peters on “False Prophecies of 2020 & 2021” (Part 2)

Live from the historic parsonage of the 19th century gospel minister George Norcross in downtown Carwile, Pennsylvania, it's Iron Sharpens Iron. This is a radio platform in which pastors, Christian scholars, and theologians address the burning issues facing the church and the world today.

The Program Opens With Proverbs 27:17

Proverbs 27, verse 17 tells us, Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Matthew Henry said that in this passage, we are cautioned to take heed with whom we converse and directed to have a view in conversation to make one another wiser and better.

It is our hope that this goal will be accomplished over the next two hours and we hope to hear from you, the listener, with your own questions. And now, here's your host, Chris Arnzen.

Good afternoon, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, Lake City, Florida and the rest of humanity living on the planet Earth who are listening via live streaming at ironsharpensironradio .com. This is Chris Arnzen, your host at Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, wishing you all a happy Wednesday on this third day of February 2021.

And I'm very excited to have back as a returning guest a very dear friend of mine, somebody whose ministry, I believe, is one of the most vital ministries of the 21st century and that is not hyperbole, it's not exaggeration or sinful flattery.

I truly believe this and I consider this guest today to be not only one of my favorite guests on Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, but one of my favorite conference speakers and pastors luncheon speakers who I've invited here to Pennsylvania to participate in events associated with Iron Sharpens Iron Radio and I'm speaking of Justin Peters, who is an evangelist, conference speaker and founder of Justin Peters Ministries.

And Justin, for those of you who are unfamiliar with him, specializes, although this is not the exclusive area that Justin focuses on, it is a primary focus of his ministry and that is exposing the lies and heresies of the charlatans in the Word of Faith movement.

And today we are going to be continuing a conversation that we began a number of weeks ago and that is false prophecies of 2020 and 2021 and this is part two of that discussion. It's my honor and privilege to welcome you back to Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, Justin Peters.

The pleasure is all mine, brother.

And we may be, oh, not maybe, we definitely are. I just got a text that we have been joined by Andrew Rappaport, who is my co-host today, my special co-host, founder and president of Striving for Eternity and welcome back to Iron Sharpens Iron Radio, Andrew Rappaport.

I want to right away give our listeners our email address if they would like to join us on the air with a question for Justin on the Word of Faith movement on extra-biblical revelation or alleged extra-biblical revelation, I should say, prophecies, words of knowledge, divine inspiration, etc., which is actually not exclusively things that are coming from the Word of Faith Pentecostal movement, which is the worst form of the charismatic-slash-Pentecostal movements, even those that I know and love and cherish as my brothers in Christ, who are either charismatic or Pentecostal or non-cessationist, continuous or continuationist, as they're sometimes called, even among them, they would consider the Word of Faith movement an embarrassment, they would consider them charlatans and dangerous heretics.

But this issue is not exclusively from their backyard, meaning the Word of Faith movement, and we'll get into that more clearly in the moments to come. But, Justin, just for the sake of those who have never heard you on the show before and have never heard of you at all, perhaps you could give us a very brief summary of why you got involved in a ministry that primarily exposes or seeks to expose and warn against the Word of Faith movement and false preachers, teachers, and charlatans that are associated with it.

Yeah, that is what you are most loved for and most hated for.

Yeah, that's a fair statement.

Depending upon who is reacting to what you do. And I, for one, love what you do, obviously, because I love having you return to this program. If anybody wants to find out more about Justin Peters Ministries, just go to justinpeters .org, justinpeters .org.

And also, if you are interested in my co-host's ministry, who is Andrew Rapoport, his website for Striving for Eternity Ministries. In fact, perhaps you could give that to me, Andrew, because for some reason I'm having a little bit of a problem opening up your website.

What is your website?

It's justinpeters .org.

I thought that's what it was.

Yeah, from there you can also get to our website.

Great.

And in fact, I know that my guest and co-host are very close friends and very often when Justin travels, Andrew Rapoport has accompanied him and helps him out with his physical needs because of his disabilities.

And I'm assuming, Justin, that even in the 21st century, in spite of the politically correct dictionaries we're all supposed to have, I'm assuming it's okay to refer to you as disabled, is it not? Well, I'll never do that, but you could do that.

I'll do that.

Yeah, you don't have to be careful.

And if anybody also wants to hear part two, I'm sorry, part one of the discussion that we're having today, which was actually conducted on January 8th about the false prophecies of 2020 and 2021, after the show is over, you can go to irontriponsirenradio .com and click Podcast Past Shows.

And then in the search engine, type in Justin Peters. All of Justin's interviews will come up, at least those that have been broadcast since we relaunched in 2015 and have a new website. The older interviews may not be ready yet to listen to, but hopefully eventually Webmaster will have those available as well right at your fingertips.

But type in Justin Peters at irontriponsirenradio .com, type that in in the search engine, and Justin's past interviews will come up, and the first one at the top of the list should be the part one of our discussion today that was held on January 8th.

Well, if you wouldn't mind, Justin, if you could set us up, because we have some clips that we are going to air, and one of the reasons I love interviewing you is you frequently provide clips, and as you did when you were my luncheon speaker for Iron Trump and Zion Radio here in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, you brought a number of video clips, because what I routinely hear from the proponents of the Word of Faith movement or just your run-of-the-mill charismatic or Pentecostal individual, very often they will say, ah, you're relying on a hearsay or something, that can't be true, or yeah, you just heard this by word of mouth, I just don't believe it.

That's why one of the reasons it's valuable to have these, especially since all of these prophecies by these charlatans have not come to be, they've all failed, and it's good to have a public record of this, even though, of course, they are like Teflon, because people either have amnesia or they worship these people or idolize them to such a high extent that they don't care that they've proven themselves to be false prophets over and over and over and over and over again.

They still pour their accolades on these people and support them with their money. But if you could help us with the first clip, which is a clip of Pat Robertson, and before we even do that, would you categorize Pat Robertson as a part of the Word of Faith Pentecostal movement?

I know, of course, he is a Pentecostal or charismatic, I should say. He's actually, at least he was, for most of his Christian life, a Southern Baptist, which may be very surprising to many. Even for most of his career hosting the 700 Club, he was a Southern Baptist.

But would you consider him a Word of Faith preacher, teacher?

That's the way he thinks, and he will be tremendous on the economy. He's uncomfortable with foreign policy, I feel. But nevertheless, he'll be a strong, strong man. But if he comes in, secondly, he's going to have a second term.

He's going to win. Romney will win the election.

You believe that?

I absolutely believe that.

What makes you believe that?

Because the Lord told me.

Well, that's what I'm glad to know.

I wasn't sure how you knew.

Really, the Lord said that to you?

Yeah, absolutely. I told Mitt a long time ago, I called him, I said, listen, I've been in prayer. Number one, you're going to win the nomination. Number two, you're going to win the general election. He said, well, what can I do for you?

I said, well, give me a seat on the platform.

Yeah, so that was Pat. Monumental as the United States president. Something that is, it comes around like clockwork. And they even have a 50. Okay, in fact, Andrew, I believe that I have this working now.

So this is the second clip. And explain that again very briefly, Justin. Set up the clip. Okay, here it is.

First of all, I want to say without question, Trump is going to win the election. And that doesn't mean you sit home and don't vote. That means you get up and do everything you can to work. But he's going to win.

That's, I think, a given. According to what I believe the Lord told me, the president is going to be reelected. I'm saying by all means, get up and vote. I think it's time to pray. But ladies and gentlemen, that's the word.

You ask what's going to happen next? That's what's going to happen next.

Now, it's kind of interesting how these people speak, especially Pat Robertson. Pat Robertson has always spoke as if he needs to put tinfoil on his head or something to get a better reception from the Holy Spirit because he first begins saying that he knows this with certainty.

And then later on in the same sentence, seconds later, he says, I think that's what the Lord is telling me, or I believe this is what the Lord is telling me. Those are two different things, aren't they, to say something with certainty and say, I believe the Lord is telling me this.

And has a prophet in the scriptures that was a true prophet ever been questioning or not 100 certain that what they were prophesying was from God himself? And by the way, for all of the millennials in the audience or those who are younger who had no idea what my reference was concerning the tinfoil, those of us who are older folks, when we used to have television sets that actually required antennas, also known as rabbit ears, we used to put tinfoil on them, and it actually helped improve the reception, the picture on many occasions, sometimes even sticking in a coat hanger in there and all kinds of stuff.

But now we have to go to our first break, and when we return either Justin will pick up where he left off on that same clip or we'll play the next clip. And again, if anybody wants to join us, our email address is ChrisArnzen at gmail .com.

ChrisArnzen at gmail .com. As always, please give us your first name at least, your city and state of residence, and your country of residence if you live outside the USA. Only remain anonymous if your question involves a personal and private matter.

Don't go away. We'll be right back with Justin Peters and Andrew Rappaport right after these messages from a sponsor. When Iron Sharpens Iron Radio first launched in 2005, the publishers of the New American Standard Bible were among my very first sponsors.

It gives me joy knowing that many scholars and pastors in the Iron Sharpens Iron Radio audience have been sticking with or switching to the NASB.

I'm author Gary DeMar, president of American Vision, and the NASB is my Bible of choice.

I'm Pastor Dan Lubenick of West Hills Baptist Church in Huntington Station, New York, and the NASB is my Bible of choice. I'm Justin Peters of Justin Peters Ministries, and the NASB is my Bible of choice.

I'm Reverend Buzz Taylor, author of God's Lawson, and the NASB is my Bible of choice.

I'm Dr. William Webster, pastor of Grace Bible Church in Battleground, Washington, founder of the ministry Christian Resources, and the NASB is my Bible of choice.

I'm Pastor Ryan Galan of Central Islip Community Church in Central Islip, New York, and the NASB is my Bible of choice.

I'm Pastor Brandon Smith of Trinity Reformed Baptist Church in Jackson, Georgia, and the NASB is my Bible of choice.

Here's a great way for your church to help keep Iron Sharpens Iron Radio on the air. Pastors, are your pew bibles tattered and falling apart? Consider restocking your pews with the NASB, and tell the publishers you heard about them from Chris Arnzen on Iron Sharpens Iron Radio.

James White of Alpha Omega Ministries here. If you've watched my Dividing Line webcast often enough, you know I have a great love for getting Bibles and other documents vital to my ministry rebound to preserve and ensure their longevity.

And besides that, they feel so good. I'm so delighted I discovered post-Tenebrous Lux Bible rebinding. No radio ad will be long enough to sing their praises sufficiently, but I'll give it a shot. Jeffrey Rice of Post-Tenebrous Lux is a remarkably gifted craftsman and artisan.

All his work is done by hand from the cutting to the pleating of corners to the perimeter stitching. Jeffrey uses the finest and buttery soft imported leathers in a wide variety of gorgeous colors like the turquoise goatskin tanned in Italy used for my Nestle All in 28th edition with a navy blue goatskin inside liner, and the electric blue goatskin from a French tannery used to rebind a Reformation study Bible I used as a gift.

The silver gilding he added on the page edges has a stunning mirror finish resembling highly polished chrome. Jeffrey will customize your rebinding to your specifications and even emboss your logo into the leather, making whatever he rebinds a one-of-a-kind work of art.

Hi, I'm Buzz Taylor, frequent co-host with Chris Arnzen on Iron Sharpens Iron Radio. I would like to introduce you to my good friends Todd and Patty Jennings at CVBBS, which stands for Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service.

Todd and Patty specialize in supplying Reformed and Puritan books and Bibles at discount prices that make them affordable to everyone. Since 1987, the family-owned and operated book service has sought to bring you the best available Christian books and Bibles at the best possible prices.

Unlike other book sites, they make no effort to provide every book that is available, because frankly, much of what is being printed is not worth your time. That means you can get to the good stuff faster.

It also means that you don't have to worry about being assaulted by the pornographic, heretical, and otherwise faith-insulting material promoted by the secular book vendors. Their website is CVBBS .com.

Browse the pages at ease, shop at your leisure, and purchase with confidence as Todd and Patty work in service to you, the Church, and to Christ. That's Cumberland Valley Bible Book Service at CVBBS .com.

We are excited to announce another new member of the Iron Sharpens Iron Radio advertising family, Bhanu Gadi, owner of three New York pharmacies, Lee's Drugs of Floral Park, Long Beach Chemists, and Prescription Center of Long Island in Hempstead.

Bhanu Gadi earned a doctorate in pharmacy degree and is very knowledgeable on the current coronavirus pandemic. Please contact Dr. Gadi so he and his expert staff can give you proper guidance amid all the contradictory confusion we are all hearing in the media.

To find the pharmacy nearest you, call 516 -354 -2000. That's 516 -354 -2000. Or order online at Lee's Drugs Rx .com. That's L-E-E-S Drugs Rx .com. Don't forget to ask about their discount generic drug program.

Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord Jesus Christ. My name is Bhanu Gadi. I'm a pharmacist in New York, which is the epicenter of the latest crisis the world is going through. In Psalm 139 verse 14, the psalmist offers praise to the Lord like this,.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and wondrous are your works that my soul knows very well. He saw God's goodness and mercy, kindness, and the beauty in what God has designed, and he has erupted into praise.

In any crisis or problem, brothers and sisters, our only fallback position is to trust God's design. And once we do, there is nothing for us to do but to erupt in praise to him. When the whole world is searching for a solution, God in his infinite mercy has given us what we need to address this illness, which can be very serious.

Such is the beauty of his design. Knowing that design, how can we not erupt in praise to our great God like the psalmist did? May God bless you and give all of us wisdom to see greater things in his design.

Thank you.

I'm Dr. Tony Costa, Professor of Apologetics and Islam at Toronto Baptist Seminary. I'm thrilled to introduce to you a church where I've been invited to speak and have grown to love, Hope Reform Baptist Church in Corham, Long Island, New York, pastored by Rich Jensen and Christopher McDowell.

It's such a joy to witness and experience fellowship with people of God like the dear saints at Hope Reform Baptist Church in Corham, who have an intensely passionate desire to continue digging deeper and deeper into the unfathomable riches of Christ in his holy word, and to enthusiastically proclaim Christ Jesus the King and his doctrines of sovereign grace in Suffolk County, Long Island, and beyond.

I hope you also have the privilege of discovering this precious congregation and receive the blessing of being showered by their love as I have. For more information on Hope Reform Baptist Church, go to hopereformedli .net.

And don't forget, folks, if you send in a donation to the Historical Bible Society, which is a not-for-profit organization, $35 or more will get you a beautiful 9x12, 44-page book called The Genealogies, which include the genealogies of Jesus Christ himself.

And what makes this such a beautiful 44-page book and very large in dimension, 9x12, is that the genealogies, the artwork involved in the genealogies, is taken directly from a print of a first edition 1611 King James Bible, which is a part of the collection at the Historical Bible Society.

So why not say thanks to them for renewing their advertising contract with us by sending in a gift of a minimum of $35, and you will get this book, 44-page book, 9x12, The Genealogies, which include the genealogies of Jesus Christ.

We are now back with my guest Justin Peters of Justin Peters Ministries, and also co-hosting the program with me is Andrew Rappaport. And of course, Andrew, whenever you have a question that you'd like to ask Justin, you don't have to wait on me to identify you because I can't see you, I can't see your facial expressions or see you waving your arms or anything.

So when you sense a lull in the conversation, if you have a question, please chime in immediately, or if you even want to add to an answer that Justin gives. Now, set up the next clip that we are about to hear.

Justin.

This vision of the wounded eagle.

Well, Sid, I was in a season of fasting, and during that time of fasting, he took me to the heavenlies, and I saw this eagle. And the left side of this eagle.

The eagle represents what?

The United States of America.

Okay.

And I saw where this left wing had dropped and was battered and bruised and wounded deeply, but it had an American flag wrapped around it like a banner. You take a normal banner on your wounds.

Okay.

Why don't I give some commentary on that.

You want to set up the next clip that we are about to hear. Your presidency?

Absolutely, we will.

You're sure about that?

I'm sure about that.

I think you need clip number six.

Okay.

So that's, yeah, no, that's.

In fact, just to follow up on that myself, Justin, we had in an earlier conversation, but for the sake of those who didn't hear that conversation, when things like this happen, when, like, for instance, you have these prophets, these false prophets, declaring with certainty that Donald Trump was going to win his second term, and Joe Biden is now our president.

Do they fall back on the excuse that, yes, indeed, it is true that Biden is now officially in the White House, but he did so by fraud, and Donald Trump actually did win the election. So they will say that their prophecy stands as a correct prophecy.

Do you have that as an excuse, that people hurl at you or that respond to any opponent?

Yes.

I've never heard that expression before.

Okay.

We'll set up this next clip that Andrew also seemed to be anxious to hear.

Hearing the Lord say.

Okay, so this is Pastor Denise Goulet again that we talked about a little bit earlier. Notice that she says she is hearing the Lord say the following to her. This is not out of her own imagination or her own opinion.

This is what Yahweh is telling her.

It was, this is my son with whom I'm aware. Okay.

You want to follow up with that clip with some explanation?

She channeled God.

That sounds a lot like the pastor of the church, which was at one time Martin Luther King Jr.'s church, where he pastored, that pastor who preached at John Lewis's funeral and was saying that by John Lewis's stripes, we as a nation are healed.

Very blasphemous stuff. But this case, what you just played, this prophetess Denise, this is worse because this isn't just an analogy. This is her actually hearing this allegedly from God himself.

Yes. They channel God and then be that.

We're on midway break right now. And folks, please be patient with us because the midway break in the show is the break that's a little bit longer than the others because Grace Life Radio, 90 .1 FM in Lake City, Florida, requires of us a longer break in the middle of the show because they are required of the FCC to air their own public service announcements during this break, which localizes Iron Sharpens Iron Radio to Lake City, Florida, geographically.

While they do that, we simultaneously air our globally heard commercials. So please use this time wisely. Please don't every time, this is for those that listen to the recording of the show, please don't fast forward through the commercials every single time you're listening to the show.

I can understand you doing it once in a while, but please not every time because by fast forwarding through the commercials, you're not hearing the commercials and you're not going to be responding to the commercials.

We depend on these ads to exist. And even if you cannot patronize them by buying a product or purchasing a service or visiting a church, at the very least you can respond to these ads by thanking the sponsor for sponsoring Iron Sharpens Iron Radio.

That will go a long way, I believe, in keeping them happy, our advertisers that is, so that they remain our advertisers and continue to keep this program on the air through their financial support. So please respond to our advertisers as much as you can, even if it just means thanking them.

And also send in questions for Justin Peters on these false prophets or on the whole concept of extra biblical divine revelation and the modern day prophecy. And our email address is chrisonson at gmail .com chrisonson at gmail .com.

Don't go away. God willing, we will be right back after these messages from our sponsors. Was your business shut down during the COVID -19 pandemic, depriving you of earning any money, causing you to default on your rent as you try to survive without income?

Maybe you've had to close your doors for good. The good news, you thought, was that you purchased business interruption insurance as a part of your business liability policy with a major insurance company who told you they are a good neighbor or that you would be in good hands.

You filed a claim only to be told that it was denied due to the pandemic exclusion clause, the pandemic exclusion. Since 2006, most insurance companies added this clause to enable them to deny your income loss claims in the event of a worldwide pandemic.

Grace Covenant Baptist Church believes it's God's prerogative to determine how he shall be worshiped and how he shall be represented in the world. They believe churches need to turn to the Bible to discover what to include in worship and how to worship God in spirit and truth.

Grace Covenant Baptist Church endeavors to maintain a God-centered focus. Reading, preaching, and hearing the Word of God, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, baptism and communion are the scriptural elements of their corporate worship, performed with faith, joy, and sobriety.

Hi, this is John Sampson, pastor of King's Church in Peoria, Arizona. Taking a moment of your day to talk about Chris Arnson and the Iron Sharpens Iron podcast. I consider Chris a true friend and a man of high integrity.

He's a skilled interviewer who's not afraid to ask the big penetrating questions while always defending the key doctrines of the Christian faith. I've always been happy to point people to this podcast, knowing it's one of the very few safe places on the internet where folk won't be led astray.

I believe this podcast needs to be heard far and wide. This is a day of great spiritual compromise, and yet God has raised Chris up for just such a time. And knowing this, it's up to us as members of the body of Christ to stand with such a ministry in prayer and in finances.

I'm pleased to do so, and would like to ask you to prayerfully consider joining me in supporting Iron Sharpens Iron financially. Would you consider sending either a one-time gift or even becoming a regular monthly partner with this ministry?

I know it would be a huge encouragement to Chris if you would. All the details can be found at ironsharpensironradio .com where you can click support. That's ironsharpensironradio .com.
