- 00:00
- Hi, I'm Jeff Durbin, pastor of Apologia Church and the head of EndAbortionNow .com. I am so excited to present to you what
- 00:06
- God has done over the last year through your prayers and your support, all that you've done to partner with us as a
- 00:12
- Christian church trying to equip other Christian churches globally to save lives at the abortion mill and to establish justice, immediate justice for these pre -born children.
- 00:22
- Years ago when we started this ministry, we told you that we were a Christian church that wanted to make this about the gospel.
- 00:28
- We did not want to work with the pro -life industry who were trying to regulate the issue of abortion. We wanted to establish justice, to abolish this, to criminalize it, and to end it once and for all.
- 00:38
- When we first started, we told you that we wanted to raise churches up, to equip them completely for free, we wanted to educate them, we wanted to provide for them all the resources to go out and to save lives at the abortion mill.
- 00:49
- As of today, over 615 local churches have signed up, they have been equipped, they have been trained, they have gotten free resources.
- 00:57
- We haven't taken anything from these churches, we've wanted only to give to them and through your support, we've been able to equip them and train them and give them all their resources to save lives completely for free.
- 01:08
- Over 615 churches, countless lives have been saved at this point. Thousands upon thousands of lives are being saved and they continue to be saved on a regular basis because of what you did with us, you gave to this church to equip these churches and now thousands of children are alive because of that.
- 01:27
- We knew that we needed to create a media ministry that was a platform that could communicate consistently on this issue of abortion from a consistent
- 01:35
- Christian perspective that worked towards the end, the criminalization and the abolition of abortion in our nation.
- 01:42
- We knew that we needed to speak with the gospel, demanding immediate justice to our legislators. We started a movement across the country of Christians going to the legislature and demanding immediate justice.
- 01:53
- That all has happened and now we've been able to work with Christians across the country who are working with their legislators to criminalize the issue of abortion.
- 02:02
- Right now in the state of Arizona, we have a representative who is presenting a bill to criminalize, not regulate, to end the issue of abortion in the state of Arizona.
- 02:12
- Roe v. Wade is a court opinion, it does not have the force of law, it is not a law and that is admitted now.
- 02:19
- Number one, we don't know exactly what she would do, our expectation is that she may very well move to overview over rule
- 02:29
- Roe. The only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making
- 02:34
- Roe the law of the land. That's what I would do. We needed to educate believers that Roe v.
- 02:40
- Wade is a court opinion and states need to reject an unjust ruling by judges in the 1970s.
- 02:48
- We knew that we needed to actually approach this consistently in a way that was different than the pro -life industry has, where they're working towards regulation and not the ultimate criminalization of abortion.
- 03:00
- They call mothers and fathers who have abortions victims themselves. You'll never end abortion with that mindset, with that worldview.
- 03:07
- The pro -life industry refuses to call abortion murder, what Christians would call it. We've wanted to raise churches up to actually equip them to focus on this issue as Christians.
- 03:19
- Not with neutrality, but with the gospel demanding immediate justice. We've been able to do that through your support, over 615 local churches now out saving thousands of lives.
- 03:28
- We have now established other media ministries. We through your support have actually given numerous churches their own media kit where they're actually going to be able to produce their own content, just like Apologia Studios.
- 03:41
- We've given them high -end cameras and recording equipment, sound equipment, tripods, lenses, so they can do what we're doing to broaden the reach of the voices of those within the
- 03:52
- Christian church who can speak to this issue with consistency as Christians for the end of abortion.
- 03:58
- We've been able to raise up churches in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland and in Scotland who are speaking to this issue as Christians in Ireland, in Australia, in New Zealand, in Canada.
- 04:12
- God has made this movement global and it's happened because of your support with us. I want to speak to you from the heart here.
- 04:19
- We are not trying to create an industry. I long for the day when we shut all this down and don't ask for another penny to support these churches and to criminalize this issue.
- 04:30
- We are working as a Christian church to criminalize this and to establish justice and to save lives.
- 04:36
- You've helped us to do that and you've helped us to do it in a way where we've been no burden to the churches.
- 04:42
- We've just helped them, equipped them. You did that. You supported us. You prayed.
- 04:47
- And right now, we have legislators in Indiana, South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, and in Arizona who are going to be putting in bills to criminalize abortion, to resist
- 04:58
- Roe versus Wade, and to criminalize abortion at the state level. It's going to be happening here in Arizona.
- 05:06
- It's already being submitted. And all that's happening because of the work of endabortionnow .com
- 05:12
- and other believers across the country who are trying to establish justice, true justice for these pre -born children.
- 05:19
- Will you join us again in 2021? Of course, pray for us. Of course, please sign up at endabortionnow .com
- 05:26
- with your church. Save some lives with us. There's Christians all over the country that need you to join us.
- 05:32
- We need your help to save lives. But also, partner with us so we can equip more churches, develop more media ministries to speak to this issue in the public square together, and to once and for all criminalize abortion in our nation.
- 05:46
- Help us to meet our matching donation for 2020. Help us through 2021 to save more lives and to end the slaughter of these innocent pre -born children in the womb.
- 05:58
- When you give to endabortionnow .com, you're giving to equip local churches to save lives.
- 06:03
- That's all there is to it. Lives are being saved every single day across the country and around the world now because of believers just like you who gave.
- 06:13
- You are helping to raise churches up and you are saving lives. You're helping to establish media ministries like Apologia Studios that are speaking to this issue consistently, that are raising up Christians, that are helping to actually end, to criminalize the issue of abortion.
- 06:30
- You're helping us to actually train and equip Christians to do what we've been able to do across the country now.
- 06:36
- Christians have been able to talk to their legislators and demand immediate justice. Just think about this.
- 06:41
- Ten years ago, we weren't in a place that we are now, where we have legislators who are actually saying, end it.
- 06:50
- It's over. We're criminalizing this. We're abolishing it. Now we're here. Christians have been working so faithfully in this area and you can partner with a ministry like Apologia through End Abortion Now to raise up churches, to bring the message of the gospel into conflict with abortion, and to bring the message of immediate justice to legislatures across the country like this one.
- 07:12
- It's happening in Arizona right now. We have people all over the country now who are in this.
- 07:18
- This is unprecedented in our time to see so many changes right on the line.
- 07:26
- And I just want to reiterate again, I am so looking forward to the day as a pastor where we never do another one of these videos except just to celebrate what
- 07:35
- God has done. We never ask for another penny. The pro -life industry is an industry.
- 07:40
- It's a business. When you give this to the church, the church can work with the gospel to end this issue and never ask for another penny.
- 07:49
- Brothers and sisters, will you give? Help us to match our donation so we can fund all the work for 2021.
- 07:57
- Will you help us in this moment in time to work to the end of abortion as the
- 08:02
- Christian church? Help us to work in such a way that we end this, we don't regulate it, we criminalize it and establish justice for our pre -born neighbors now.
- 08:12
- That's what's happening. So many churches, so many lives saved. Now more media ministries than ours able to speak to this with good quality content with a consistent message and working with the legislators to criminalize this issue in our country.
- 08:28
- Will you partner with a Christian church that makes this about the gospel, that makes this about ending abortion once and for all?
- 08:37
- We can celebrate together when we never ask for another penny from a
- 08:42
- Christian to end this issue because it's ended. Go to endabortionnow .com,
- 08:49
- sign up with your church to join us in saving lives. Go to endabortionnow .com to give towards the work of 2021.
- 08:58
- All of your giving goes towards raising up churches, saving lives, creating media content and media ministries to speak to this issue and to training churches to actually end this at the legislature.
- 09:10
- Join us for 2021, brothers and sisters, I'd be so grateful if you did. So this is actually, to my mind, a historic site.
- 09:24
- It's one, it's a place where one of the giants of the faith of our generation has stood and ministered for 16 years.
- 09:33
- It's a really incredible spot. This is the Orlando Women's Center. I've only been here for a little bit as we're getting everything set up to do this for you so you can see this place.
- 09:43
- And just in being here for a short time, I've already seen several mothers and fathers going in and out.
- 09:51
- I've watched two women who came in here to kill their children, stumble out and sort of be carried out by the fathers of the children.
- 10:04
- And so it really can be a devastating emotional experience to be out here, to be so close.
- 10:13
- We've been in this for maybe about a decade, preaching the gospel at abortion mills, raising up churches to go and save lives.
- 10:21
- Thousands of children have been saved through the work of the churches through End Abortion Now who have come out to preach the gospel, to offer help and hope and love to mothers and fathers who are going in to kill their children.
- 10:33
- But where we're at, we can't get this close to the abortion mill. So this for me is a really powerful experience, not just because of how close you can be to the mothers and the fathers who are going in there to kill their children, how close you can be to the paid assassin who's out back smoking and to the staff that are out there smoking in between killing children.
- 11:00
- But it's an amazing place to be because of what's taken place at this location.
- 11:06
- John Barros is my hero of the faith, one of my heroes of the faith.
- 11:11
- He's been out here faithfully, he's been a silent hero for so long, every single day coming out here to preach the gospel to these mothers and fathers to plead for the lives of their children.
- 11:21
- He's been doing it for 16 years. I call him a silent hero because he was doing this and he was faithful out here every single day before people really cared about who he was or had cameras on him or could do live feeds out here.
- 11:35
- He was just saving children by the thousands before it was cool. And so many miracles have happened here at the
- 11:46
- Orlando Women's Center, too many miracles to actually talk about right now on this particular clip.
- 11:52
- But miracles happening, I mean, even every day I've talked to the two men that are out here today and they've already seen
- 11:57
- I think two or three saves today just by being here, being faithful, standing on the truth and preaching
- 12:05
- Christ. But I wanted to show you this, this for me is a moment that I will never forget.
- 12:13
- John's one of my heroes, he's inspired me to do this work and abortion now exists in many ways because of his testimony and his work.
- 12:20
- But I've wanted to come here for so long to experience just being here at the place where God has moved to save thousands of children from death over so many years.
- 12:31
- And I've wanted to come here because, well, because of this.
- 12:38
- This is actually a very, very powerful thing. John, many of you guys know, stands on crutches.
- 12:46
- So not only does he come to the abortion mill to preach the gospel to save lives all day long. And let me just tell you right now, it's hot out here.
- 12:52
- It's hot. It's not comfortable. But he stands on crutches and he's been here for so long, so faithfully been here for so long, for 16 years that he's literally worn the sidewalk down.
- 13:06
- He's worn the sidewalk down right in front of the doors where the mothers and fathers are going in to kill their children.
- 13:14
- This has been his station right here. This is his spot. And this is where the gospel has come from, this worn down sidewalk right into those doors, into those mothers and fathers in there who are going to kill their children.
- 13:30
- The gospel has come out from this spot so many thousands of times and God has saved so many thousands of children.
- 13:38
- To my mind, this ought to be a monument. It is a monument. It is a monument.
- 13:45
- It's a monument to one man's faithfulness, to a silent hero, a man who's given his life for these children.
- 13:56
- And I was saying this earlier, so many thousands of children are going to go through their whole lives and never even hear the story of the hero who saved their lives.
- 14:04
- Many of the mothers and fathers who turned away from killing the children aren't going to tell their child, you know,
- 14:09
- I was going to kill you and then this man stopped me. They'll never tell them. Who knows?
- 14:16
- God knows. John knows. Those mothers and fathers know. But their children, they won't know that their life is a reality because of one man's faithfulness in this hot sun outside of this one place of death for so many years.
- 14:37
- And there's a monument to his heroic acts. There's a monument to his faithfulness.
- 14:44
- And it's it truly is incredible because I don't know if it comes through on the camera like it does when you're here.
- 14:54
- But if you feel the sidewalk all around here, it's consistent, it's rough.
- 15:01
- But as soon as you move over here, John has stood here and you can see where he's worn the sidewalk down.
- 15:07
- And even where when he was standing on his crutches, he's worn the sidewalk down to where this is white.
- 15:15
- But it's not just white. He's literally worn it down to where there's holes in the concrete.
- 15:22
- You can feel this man's faithfulness. The monument to it. All of this dark and consistent and then the concrete just worn down from the weight of his body pushing into those crutches, leaving a mark of gospel faithfulness going through those doors.
- 15:45
- And it's powerful because wouldn't it be amazing if one day like this was an actual historic site?
- 15:54
- I think it ought to be. I know it is in God's mind. But to me, this is one of the most precious moments of my life to be able to see this because this man and his silent faithfulness, the silent hero, was out here preaching the gospel to these women saving lives long before most of us got involved in this.
- 16:17
- There are many heroes besides John, don't forget that. But many of us today who are out preaching the gospel and saving lives are doing it in a particular context that's just so different.
- 16:27
- John and others like him were out here as silent heroes before most of us had woken up.
- 16:35
- And here's the monument to his faithfulness. I'm so glad I got to touch it.
- 16:42
- And you can not just hear this story. You cannot just hear this story and say, oh, that was amazing.
- 16:51
- Praise God for this man. And move on. Don't do that.
- 16:57
- Don't do that. We're a part of this now as the church with the gospel to save lives and preach the gospel.
- 17:07
- This is about the truth. This isn't merely a political situation.
- 17:13
- I'm not trying to draw on your heartstrings. There's real children being slaughtered inside this location and others like it that are near you.
- 17:23
- You can be a part of what God is doing to save children and to bring the gospel into conflict with the issue of abortion.
- 17:46
- We actually found out that she had cystic fibrosis about a week after she was born.
- 17:53
- Adrienne knew that something wasn't right just by how she was eating and some different things like that.
- 18:00
- So what I remember was Adrienne went to her first appointment with Jade. And when she came home, she was in tears, just crying, and she couldn't even really talk.
- 18:12
- So Cheryl was with us, which is our pastor's wife, and she told me, she said,
- 18:18
- Jade has cystic fibrosis. And I didn't know at the time what that meant exactly. I didn't know what that meant for Jade.
- 18:25
- I just knew it was bad. I knew it had something to do with her lungs. So from there on, we just started planning on how to raise a child with cystic fibrosis.
- 18:37
- It used to be a death sentence for kids. Now, thank the Lord, we live in a time where the medical technology has come so far, medication has come so far.
- 18:48
- With any baby, they need to eat a lot. And with her, you can't just feed her.
- 18:56
- She needs medication every time she eats anything. So that can get time -consuming and stressful, but she's very happy.
- 19:05
- She's very playful. And she's been healthy lately, and it's just really rewarding to see how far she's come.
- 19:14
- What a joy she brings to our family, regardless of what we have to do to keep her healthy. Abortion wasn't even a thing that ever crossed our mind.
- 19:46
- I think that a lot of people look at Jade's condition and they think, oh, she has something that's going to make her life difficult and hard, and it's going to make your guys' life difficult and hard.
- 19:58
- So the narrative we're sold is the best thing to do is just kill her. And so for us, that never crossed our mind, because life is hard in general.
- 20:08
- It's hard for all of us. It's hard for children. It's hard for adults, parents, husbands, wives.
- 20:13
- Life is difficult, and there are many obstacles that we go through. So abortion never crossed our mind, and we're continuing to have children, knowing that our future children could also have cystic fibrosis.
- 20:26
- Every child we have, there's a 25 % chance. And we're not deterred from having children.
- 20:33
- Children are a blessing, and God made her just the way she was. Not only did you save one generation, oh, thank you, not only did you save my first granddaughter, because that she lived,
- 20:57
- I am a great -grandmother, and my mother is a great -great -grandmother. Praise the Lord.
- 21:02
- Praise God. And they all are doing well, and I just thank you for your ministry, because my mother had me to commit abortion when
- 21:12
- I was 16, and I did not want to have it, but my mother made me have it.
- 21:19
- And because of that, I am so desperately thankful that my daughter did not commit an abortion here, and she had my granddaughter, her name is
- 21:32
- Jocelyn, and Jocelyn is on her second baby. She's a little great -grandmother.
- 21:37
- Praise Jesus. That's awesome. I want to tell you that. Thank you. Thank you for all of this. So, you know, your endeavors is not unheard, and all the people who say the mean things,
- 21:49
- I am pro -life. Oh. Even though my mother had me to have an abortion, but at that time, back in the day, they didn't want the girls to get pregnant, and my mother was fearful.
- 21:59
- And praise God, he's forgiving. Oh! Because we've all done things that we didn't forget.
- 22:05
- I'm on my way to prayer right now. Oh, yeah. Midtown Bible Church. We knew of a woman that had needed some help, and we had chosen to help her with her pregnancy, and she birthed a little girl, and we continued to help her for a couple years, and she ended up pregnant, an unwanted pregnancy.
- 22:36
- And she wanted to get an abortion, and I just couldn't fathom that.
- 22:45
- And I talked to her about it being murder, and that it's, it's just, you can't do that.
- 22:51
- She couldn't do it. I just wasn't going to let her do it. And I said, we'll talk tomorrow. Next day came.
- 22:56
- She was living at her home, by the way. Next day came, and she still wanted to, and I said, you couldn't.
- 23:02
- I told her she couldn't. And four days went by, and on the fourth day, she said that she had already ruined him.
- 23:09
- That she had already, she had already ruined him. That she said that she had already been doing things that she shouldn't have been doing while she was pregnant.
- 23:17
- And she said that nobody would want him. And I said that I would. I said that you couldn't, that she couldn't get an abortion, and that I wanted him.
- 23:28
- And then I called my husband, and I told him what I said, and he was like, okay, we're going to have another baby.
- 23:34
- And he was born two months early, and his name is Jaris.
- 23:40
- And we are so blessed by him. And I'm so blessed that that mom chose life.
- 23:47
- I'm so blessed that she trusted me. That she trusted me to help her through her pregnancy, and to care for him.
- 24:02
- And he's one. He's one. Well, he's number 10.
- 24:09
- And he is full of energy. And we hadn't had a boy for a while, so it's just, he's a bundle of joy.
- 24:18
- He is, he's more than what I expected.
- 24:23
- He's right on track with kids his age. He's not been affected by anything that she was doing.
- 24:33
- He's perfect. Hi, I'm Jeff Durbin, pastor of Apologia Church, and the head of EndAbortionNow .com.
- 24:55
- I am so excited to present to you what God has done over the last year, through your prayers and your support, all that you've done to partner with us as a

- 25:34
- We wanted to educate them. We wanted to provide for them all the resources to go out and to save lives at the abortion mill.
- 25:39
- As of today, over 615 local churches have signed up. They have been equipped.
- 25:45
- They have been trained. They have gotten free resources. We haven't taken anything from these churches. We've wanted only to give to them, and through your support, we've been able to equip them and train them and give them all their resources to save lives completely for free.
- 25:59

- 28:49
- We've been able to raise up churches in Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and in Scotland who are speaking to this issue as Christians in Ireland, in Australia, in New Zealand, in Canada.
- 29:02
- God has made this movement global and it's happened because of your support with us. I want to speak to you from the heart here.
- 29:10
- We are not trying to create an industry. I long for the day when we shut all this down and don't ask for another penny to support these churches and to criminalize this issue.
- 29:20
- We are working as a Christian church to criminalize this and to establish justice and to save lives.
- 29:26
- You've helped us to do that and you've helped us to do it in a way where we've been no burden to the churches.
- 29:32
- We've just helped them, equipped them. You did that. You supported us. You prayed and right now we have legislators in Indiana, South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, and in Arizona who are going to be putting in bills to criminalize abortion, to resist
- 29:49
- Roe vs. Wade and to criminalize abortion at the state level. It's going to be happening here in Arizona.
- 29:56
- It's already being submitted and all that's happening because of the work of EndAbortionNow .com
- 30:02
- and other believers across the country who are trying to establish justice, true justice for these pre -born children.
- 30:09
- Will you join us again in 2021? Of course, pray for us. Of course, please sign up at EndAbortionNow .com
- 30:17
- with your church. Save some lives with us. There's Christians all over the country that need you to join us.
- 30:23
- We need your help to save lives but also partner with us so we can equip more churches, develop more media ministries to speak to this issue in the public square together and to once and for all criminalize abortion in our nation.
- 30:36
- Help us to meet our matching donation for 2020. Help us through 2021 to save more lives and to end the slaughter of these innocent pre -born children in the womb.
- 30:48
- When you give to EndAbortionNow .com you're giving to equip local churches to save lives.
- 30:54
- That's all there is to it. Lives are being saved every single day across the country and around the world now because of believers just like you who gave.
- 31:04
- You are helping to raise churches up and you are saving lives. You're helping to establish media ministries like Apologia Studios that are speaking to this issue consistently, that are raising up Christians, that are helping to actually end, to criminalize the issue of abortion.
- 31:20
- You're helping us to actually train and equip Christians to do what we've been able to do across the country now.
- 31:26
- Christians have been able to talk to their legislators and demand immediate justice. Just think about this.
- 31:32
- Ten years ago, we weren't in a place that we are now, where we have legislators who are actually saying, end it.
- 31:40
- It's over. We're criminalizing this. We're abolishing it. Now we're here. Christians have been working so faithfully in this area and you can partner with a ministry like Apologia through EndAbortionNow to raise up churches, to bring the message of the gospel into conflict with abortion and to bring the message of immediate justice to legislatures across the country like this one.
- 32:03
- It's happening in Arizona right now. We have people all over the country now who are in this.
- 32:09
- This is unprecedented in our time to see so many changes right on the line and I just want to reiterate again
- 32:18
- I am so looking forward to the day as a pastor where we never do another one of these videos except just to celebrate what
- 32:25
- God has done. We never ask for another penny. The pro -life industry is an industry.
- 32:31
- It's a business. When you give this to the church, the church can work with the gospel to end this issue and never ask for another penny.
- 32:40
- Brothers and sisters will you give? Help us to match our donation so we can fund all the work for 2021.
- 32:48
- Will you help us in this moment in time to work to the end of abortion as the
- 32:53
- Christian church? Help us to work in such a way that we end this. We don't regulate it.
- 32:59
- We criminalize it and establish justice for our pre -born neighbors now. That's what's happening.
- 33:04
- So many churches. So many lives saved. Now more media ministries than ours able to speak to this with good quality content with a consistent message and working with the legislators to criminalize this issue in our country.
- 33:18
- Will you partner with a Christian church that makes this about the gospel? That makes this about ending abortion once and for all?
- 33:27
- We can celebrate together when we never ask for another penny from a
- 33:32
- Christian to end this issue because it's ended. Go to EndAbortionNow .com
- 33:39
- Sign up with your church to join us in saving lives. Go to EndAbortionNow .com
- 33:45
- to give towards the work of 2021. All of your giving goes towards raising up churches, saving lives, creating media content and media ministries to speak to this issue and to training churches to actually end this at the legislature.
- 34:01
- Join us for 2021, brothers and sisters. I'd be so grateful if you did. My name's
- 34:10
- Christina. We are in Raleigh, North Carolina. So a year, a year this past October.
- 34:19
- We've been going out every Monday is our day. Well, initially my husband, so we came across some videos,
- 34:31
- Abortion Now videos on YouTube and actually it was the desire to go to the city council meetings at first is what really was kind of like our thought process and then
- 34:45
- God did a miraculous thing one weekend and we watched Babies Are Murdered here and then we,
- 34:53
- Patty Smith somehow visited our church that same weekend and so we got to meet
- 34:59
- Patty and Scott Smith and we did some street preaching with them like that day and then we trained with them for like six weeks on how they do abortion meal ministry and then we've just been doing it faithfully ever since.
- 35:16
- It's truly gospel centered. They are not ashamed of the gospel. They're calling people to repentance.
- 35:24
- They're pointing out that this is murder, that this is sin. We now have a actual resource center from Raleigh that is trying to do sidewalk ministry next to us.
- 35:37
- It's kind of sad. It's sad to see their focus is on just sharing snacks and smiling and waving and their message is one of we know you have a hard decision to make and we just want to give you other options as if abortion is still an option when it should not be an option at all because it's murder.
- 36:01
- So murder should never be an option. So the pro -life message is weak.
- 36:06
- It's a weak message and it's not Christ centered and it's not biblical. If you're giving to a resource center,
- 36:14
- I would say stop that and give to end abortion now because they are legit.
- 36:20
- They are Christ centered, standing on the word of God and not ashamed of Jesus. Thank you everyone again for tuning in to this tonight.
- 36:36
- I'm super excited to be able to speak to everyone tonight. If you don't know who I am, my name is Luke Pearson and I'm the discipleship pastor at Apologia Church here in Mesa, Arizona and also one of the co -founders of End Abortion Now and like I said it's an absolute honor and privilege to be speaking to you tonight.
- 36:56
- My dear friend and brother and really I consider my father in this fight,
- 37:03
- Rusty Thomas who I see you sitting there in the front row brother, he asked us to prepare what he called the message that we would give to any magistrate or pastor if given the opportunity.
- 37:16
- So you just heard one of my best friends and one of my fellow elders here at Apologia do an excellent job of presenting a biblical view of cowardice and now
- 37:27
- I want to follow up with an open message to any and all pastors or magistrates, admonishing you to be courageous and to stand tall in this fight to end the slaughter of our pre -born neighbors and their mother's wombs to boldly make decisions based upon biblical principles of truth and to lead by example even if you're all alone.
- 37:52
- I have a quote here from Charles Spurgeon he once said that the weakest of minds are those which go forward because they are born along by the throng the truly strong are accustomed to stand alone and are not cast down if they find themselves in a minority so you may feel like you're in the minority but when you fight on the side of almighty
- 38:16
- God you are never truly alone and never ever in the minority. Before getting too far into this message
- 38:28
- I want to tell you a quick story which by the way I know Rusty gave the three of us about an hour and a half so we'll see how we do with that.
- 38:37
- We're used to each speaking at least an hour and Pastor Jeff's after me and an hour would be a miracle so we're going to do our best to get done in an hour and a half here but I want to tell you a quick story so back in the first week of March of this year
- 38:54
- BC as I call it before COVID Pastor Zach, myself and Pastor Jeff again who's up next we had the unforgettable and life changing opportunity to go on the
- 39:06
- Covenanter tour in Edinburgh Scotland without getting too far off topic it was amazing we were able to see the church and the pulpit of John Knox, his house his grave where he's literally buried in a parking lot and what an amazing man if you don't know much about him you need to study up on him he's an amazing
- 39:30
- Scottish Reformer but we also saw we went to the museum and we saw the Scottish National Covenant of 1638 and it was literally signed in blood by the
- 39:42
- Covenanters they signed their names in their own blood so these are the same faithful men who ultimately founded our nation we saw the devices used to torture them we heard incredible stories of their martyrdom and even touched we laid our hands upon the blood stained guillotine used to behead them and literally
- 40:02
- I'm not exaggerating when I say this as soon as we finished the tour we stood there in utter awe and amazement we were ready and willing and inspired to fight right?
- 40:13
- and we literally asked ourselves we looked at each other and we said what is God preparing us for? so the moment we landed back in the
- 40:21
- US within 2 -3 days of us landing back COVID hit and immediately we were forced with a decision even if we should gather or not gather for worship needless to say we were left with no choice but to defy tyranny at all cost
- 40:38
- John Knox himself once said resistance to tyranny is obedient to God and I now want to encourage you to do the same but before going any further let's look at the main passage of scripture that I want to drive home tonight it's
- 40:55
- Proverbs 24 10 -12 it says if you faint in the day of adversity your strength is small rescue those who are being taken away to death hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter if you say behold we did not know this does not he who weighs the heart perceive it does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it and will he not repay man according to his work before going any further
- 41:22
- I'd like to start off in prayer Lord I thank you once again for this opportunity to be here tonight and to preach this message
- 41:30
- Lord I ask that you get me out of the way Lord I ask that you use this conference these messages tonight
- 41:36
- Lord for your glory I ask that you would use them to end this modern holocaust in our nation use them to encourage and inspire and motivate pastors and legislators and most of all
- 41:47
- Lord we ask that you would be glorified in Christ's name we pray amen so a brief outline of my talk tonight first I want to look at two stories from scripture that I hope and pray will inspire you to take courage and then next
- 42:02
- I will speak directly to pastors and then directly to legislators and lastly I will close by admonishing everyone together so the stories
- 42:11
- I want to talk about the first one is David and Goliath which we're probably all familiar with 1st
- 42:17
- Samuel chapter 17 we all know the story right but I think we often look what is actually said so David first came to the
- 42:25
- Israelite camp and he saw Goliath for the very first time and Goliath literally says he was breeding threats against the
- 42:32
- Israelite army verse 26 here is David's response to Goliath he says for who is this uncircumcised
- 42:39
- Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God so notice
- 42:45
- David's immediate boldness and courage while the entire Israelite army was hiding in utter fear
- 42:53
- David was not at all impressed by Goliath after declining
- 42:58
- Saul's armor he went and he collected the five stones for his sling and he approached Goliath so Goliath's reaction then to David when he approached him in verses 43 and 44 was this am
- 43:09
- I a dog that you come to me with sticks come to me and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the field scripture says that Goliath actually disdained
- 43:21
- David and cursed him by his gods so here's David's reply then in verses 45 to 47 he says you come to me with a sword and a spear and with a javelin but I come to you in the name of the
- 43:32
- Lord of hosts the God of the armies of Israel whom you have defied this day the
- 43:39
- Lord will deliver you into my hand and I will strike you down and cut off your head and I will give you the dead bodies of the hosts of the
- 43:46
- Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth that all the earth may know that there is a
- 43:52
- God in Israel and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear for the battle is the
- 44:00
- Lord's and he will give you into our hand so the point
- 44:05
- I want us to get here is how often do we have the same courage that David had how often do we face our enemies with that much confidence
- 44:15
- I believe Goliath is a perfect picture of the culture that we're currently facing the same spiteful
- 44:22
- God hating attitude that we're up against when the big mean haughty culture is bearing down when they say are we dogs that you come to us with a book our response should not be to duck and cover or run and hide we should not cowardly retreat our response should be who are you uncircumcised culture that you should defy the armies of the living
- 44:48
- God when the culture spits and hurls insults and threatens us our response should not be to find the nearest bunker and wait it out our response should be to confront them in the name of the
- 45:03
- Lord of hosts to let them know that they have defied the armies of the
- 45:09
- God of the armies of Israel for what purpose the passage we just looked at here it says that all the earth may know that there is a
- 45:18
- God in Israel and to declare that the Lord saves not with sword and spear so I ask you if you're watching this who will have the courage of David who will stand firm knowing that the battle is the
- 45:31
- Lord's who has enough fortitude to tell the culture he will give you into our hand so the second story then
- 45:40
- I want to look at is that of Gideon and Judges 6 this is one of my favorite stories without getting too much into the text
- 45:48
- God commanded Gideon to literally tear down his community idols these are the same idols that his father built with his own hands they were his father's idols of course
- 46:00
- Gideon was very afraid but God told him in verse 16 I will be with you so Gideon was faithful and he followed
- 46:09
- God and God gave him the courage to obey what he had commanded so Gideon pulled down the altar of Baal and cut down the
- 46:17
- Asherah pole and what was the result the men of the town immediately went looking for him they found his father and demanded bring out your son that he may die for he has broken down the altar of Baal and cut down the
- 46:31
- Asherah beside it yet just as God promised he protected him so here's the point
- 46:38
- I want us to get here abortion is a cultural idol and if you have the courage to end it you will be attempting to tear down that idol
- 46:48
- I promise you that you will be hated the culture may even want to kill you but be faithful to God's commands as he said in verse 34 he will clothe you with the spirit of the
- 47:02
- Lord this fight will not be easy it is hard to be hopeful but easy to be hopeless courage means doing the hard thing and cowardice means doing the easy thing so now
- 47:21
- I want to directly address pastors if you're watching this and you're a pastor my challenge to you as shepherds of your flocks and as leaders in your communities is that this starts with you it starts in the pulpit you are not just the watchdogs of your congregations but also the watchdogs of your culture and of your communities there's a saying that says as goes the church so goes the nation this could not be a truer statement how you lead your churches directly affects the state of your culture
- 47:58
- I recently heard brother Rusty say something he actually was here a couple weeks ago teaching he said something that I found very profound so admittedly
- 48:09
- Rusty I'm stealing this from you and I'm going to add to it a little bit so you can feel free to use the part
- 48:15
- I'm adding but speaking of MAGA right make America great again he said this in order for America to become great again the church has to become good again and then
- 48:25
- I added this and in order for the church to become good again pastors have to guide again
- 48:32
- I'm going to repeat this in order for America to become great again the church has to become good again and in order for the church to become good again pastors have to guide again so I'm going to tread very lightly here with this next point because I know that this does not apply to every pastor but I do think that it does apply to a lot of pastors and if it does
- 48:59
- I implore you to please listen and to please examine your hearts and motives and to please repent if necessary so throughout biblical history
- 49:10
- God has notoriously diminished the size of his armies prior to the time of war and also preceding great victory doing so makes triumph seem utterly impossible allowing only him to receive the honor and glory so brothers and sisters pastors or anyone else watching this
- 49:33
- I truly believe that this is what we are witnessing before our very eyes currently in our culture this is what's happening and I want to quickly look at another story from the life of Gideon again one that I'm sure most of us are familiar with so this is
- 49:49
- Judges chapter 7 remember we were just in chapter 6 now we're chapter 7 verses 1 -8 it says my hand has saved me now therefore proclaim in the ears of the people saying whoever is fearful and trembling let him return home and hurry away from mount
- 50:27
- Gilead then 22 ,000 of the people returned and 10 ,000 remained so that's of 32 ,000 people 22 ,000 of them left because they were afraid and trembling verse 4 and the
- 50:42
- Lord said to Gideon the people are still too many take them down to the water and I will test them for you there and anyone of whom
- 50:50
- I say to you this one shall go with you shall go with you and anyone of whom I say to you this one shall not go with you shall not go so he brought the people down to the water and the
- 50:59
- Lord said to Gideon everyone who laps the water with his tongue as a dog laps you shall set by himself likewise everyone who kneels down to drink and the number of those who lapped putting their hands to their mouths was 300 men but all the rest of the people who knelt down to drink water and the
- 51:21
- Lord said to Gideon with the 300 men who lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hand and let all the others go every man to his home so the people took provisions in their hands and their trumpets and he set all the rest of Israel every man to his tent but retained the 300 men and the camp of Midian was below him in the valley so remember we had 32 ,000 down to 10 ,000 now we're down to 300 men and this is the army that God has shrunk and built for victory so this is an amazing story right and I think it perfectly illustrates my point remember what
- 52:01
- I said earlier the reason God does this is so that man can't boast he says here in the text lest Israel boast over me saying my own hand has saved me so again we shrunk it down to 300 and the test that God used
- 52:16
- I think is one that most Christians probably just overlook don't understand haven't spent time examining this is actually really important so the 9 ,700 soldiers who failed the test failed because they proved themselves not ready for war so by kneeling down to drink they put their faces down to the water leaving themselves vulnerable and unalert but the 300 soldiers who passed the test passed because they proved themselves ready for war so by cupping the water in their hands they brought the water up to their mouths so that they could lap it up like a dog and in so doing they left themselves then protected and alert so I have an honest question
- 52:57
- I'm asking here tonight are there at this point 300 pastors left in our nation fully prepared for war that are alert and guarded and protected how many pastors have proven themselves unworthy by kneeling before the inviting cool waters of our current culture ultimately leaving themselves vulnerable and unprepared for the war at hand make no mistake not only are these pastors making themselves unworthy for war but also unworthy for victory now you may be hearing this and you may think
- 53:37
- I'm crazy and to be honest I myself may have felt this same way if I had not just seen with my own eyes the published list of businesses and organizations that received funds through the paycheck protection program this money was loaned by the federal government to help fund operational costs during shutdowns due to COVID this was not or this was money that had to actively be applied for not just freely given if I'm being honest with you tonight
- 54:07
- I was completely surprised and appalled by the millions upon millions upon millions of dollars taken by churches even churches
- 54:16
- I would consider to be solid God honoring churches so now the souls of these churches are owned by Uncle Sam and in my opinion have proven themselves unprepared for the war at hand
- 54:31
- I in no way consider myself a prophet but I can see the writing on the wall and I do try to view current events through a biblical lens taking into consideration
- 54:42
- God's modus operandi throughout history so here's a powerful quote
- 54:48
- I'm going to share with you from my good friend Gary DeMar from his book God and Government he said this the early church was able to grow and have influence because it was decentralized.
- 55:00
- When the Christians were persecuted in Jerusalem they moved on to Judea and Samaria even
- 55:05
- Rome the center of apostate political power was populated with Christians. Spain was next in Paul's missionary plans the decentralized church was a growing and elusive church.
- 55:16
- No political power on earth could curtail its efforts. Christians because ultimately they serve
- 55:22
- God take their religion with them wherever they go. Families no longer look to the state for care.
- 55:28
- Education is seen as a parental responsibility statist education is opposed. Alternative educational establishments are constructed care for the needy is seen as a
- 55:39
- Christian responsibility and not the obligation or right of the state there was little need for fair business laws because Christian employers treated their employees with dignity as individuals created in the image of God these early
- 55:52
- Christians were persecuted for their individualistic beliefs but with the
- 55:57
- Roman Empire crumbling around them in time Christians found themselves in positions of power and authority unfortunately the church has become anything but elusive.
- 56:12
- In actuality the church has succumbed to political power by kneeling before it leaving the bride of Christ vulnerable our culture much like Rome is crumbling around us and I don't know about you but when it finally does collapse
- 56:27
- I want to be left in a position of power and authority as pastors people will be looking to us to lead but my question to you if you're a pastor will you even still be standing our nation's founding fathers, the
- 56:45
- Puritans who escaped tyranny and risked their lives to sail across the ocean to live and freedom rightly understood this concept.
- 56:54
- They were willing to lie face down in the mud so that generations after them could walk across their backs in freedom
- 57:03
- I'm willing to do the same are you? I'm willing to fight to get beat up to get my hands dirty are you?
- 57:12
- Proverbs 29 18 says where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint but blessed is he who keeps the law this verse has greatly resonated with me over the last several years our culture the people have cast off restraint because overall there has been no prophetic vision from our pulpits so pastors consider this a prophetic vision from me to please repent of your lack of prophetic vision and to turn from your failure to not only keep but also to love the law of God I know it's difficult in our day and age it's very difficult but we see here that God has promised to bless you for doing so so my admonition to you is to be bold just like Pastor Zach was saying be bold be courageous don't buckle under persecution and my plea to you is to please repent of any apathy about abortion please allow the gospel and God's law to be your standard precious little lives literally depend upon it my next topic now
- 58:20
- I want to address magistrates politicians legislators that are watching so my admonition to you is much more simple you as lesser magistrates are accountable to God for how you handle your authority and for how you rule those under your jurisdiction looking quickly at Romans chapter 13 verse 1 states that there is no authority except from God and those that exist have been instituted by God so let me be clear the authority that you have has been given to you by God then moving down to verse 3 it says for rulers are not a terror to good conduct but to bad so your duty is to be a terror to bad conduct and not to good conduct and then verse 4 it says for he is
- 59:09
- God's servant for your good you are God's servant literally the word is you are
- 59:15
- God's deacon for our good your citizens and then continuing in verse 4 it says but if you do wrong be afraid for he does not bear the sword in vain for he is the servant of God an avenger who carries out
- 59:28
- God's wrath on the wrong doer so you are responsible to not bear the sword in vain the apostle
- 59:36
- Paul Paul repeats himself again he says you are God's deacon you are his avenger to carry out
- 59:41
- God's wrath upon the evil doer to summarize the authority that you have is given to you by God and as God's servant you are therefore to protect the innocent and to seek vengeance on the evil doer and you will be held accountable this means that you are to protect the lives of our innocent pre -born neighbors and wield the sword against the hired assassins who intentionally murder them in their mother's wombs unfortunately the very opposite of this occurs every single day under your watch the sword is being wielded in vain against the innocent while the wrong doer is not only going free but in many cases is even being praised so legislators and lesser magistrates please hear me on this 2020 has thus far been one wild and crazy ride for sure and one thing that the
- 01:00:42
- COVID pandemic has shown is that politicians are really good at covering their backsides you may be able to temporarily and successfully do so during your elected term but I can promise you that apart from Christ you cannot eternally cover your backside so I implore you to do the right and God honoring thing politics are nothing more than legislated morality so the question is whose morality will you legislate whose morality will you uphold and protect the objective morality of your creator who has given you the power you hold is one option the other option is the subjective morality of sinful men whose standards ebb and flow like the daily updates of COVID 19 in closing
- 01:01:34
- I would like to admonish everyone remember the passage from Proverbs that I read at the very beginning
- 01:01:41
- I'll read it again Proverbs 24 10 -12 if you faint in the day of adversity your strength is small rescue those who are being taken away to death hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter if you say behold we did not know this does not he who weighs the heart perceive it does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it and will he not repay man according to his work this passage is the driving force behind an abortion now it's quite simple there's nothing tricky nor exegetically difficult to decipher the bottom line is this we are commanded to rescue those who are being taken away to death and to hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter this clearly and directly describes abortion so pastors magistrates alike it is your responsibility to live this out to rescue those beautiful children being taken away to death to hold them back from stumbling to the slaughter if you have the opportunity to obey this command and are not doing it then you are failing in your duties and you are neglecting your
- 01:02:47
- God -given responsibilities and if you say we did not know this you simply are a liar and if you're hearing this you now know and are without excuse verse 12 says does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it and will he not repay man according to his work again you will be held accountable whether in this life or the next so who here will be this generation's
- 01:03:15
- David who will be this generation's Gideon God does not bless cowardice but does reward courage and I can promise you this if you lead they will follow if you are willing to put to death cowardice and courageously stand firm and embed yourselves upon God's righteous and just principles we will support you and we have a growing grassroots army standing behind us waiting for their marching orders so what do you say who is with me
- 01:03:47
- Isaiah 41 10 and I'm going to close it says fear not for I am with you be not dismayed for I am your
- 01:03:54
- God I will strengthen you I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous hand let's pray
- 01:04:07
- I'm off the property see my what move where off the property
- 01:04:13
- I'm not going to play games with you that's public no it's not
- 01:04:23
- I'm going to tell you one time I'm going to tell you one time move off the property or you're going to jail
- 01:04:29
- I have the paperwork I'm going to give you one more chance if you're going to handcuffs are you moving or not yes or no
- 01:04:35
- I'm not on the property come here turn around I wouldn't resist get my keys hey easy on the cuffs easy on the cuffs you mind your business get my keys out of my pocket get my keys out of my pocket ow
- 01:04:56
- I haven't even searched him yet ow criminal trespass
- 01:05:06
- I was my hands are going numb dude alright I'm going to loosen them up on the brakes please just take off take off this place is wicked man you know the
- 01:05:21
- Lord sir you're arresting a Christian you're arresting a Christian right now well my name is
- 01:05:28
- John Barrows I don't know you know how many of you know me or anything there's a lot of people
- 01:05:36
- I haven't ever met here before there's some here that have been down to the clinic with me there's some here that have been down to the clinic with me and that serve down there in Orlando and that serve down there in Orlando I've been going to the
- 01:05:47
- Orlando Women's Center for 16 years I've been there full time for the last
- 01:05:55
- I'll be starting my 10th year in a couple of weeks I used to be there the first few years it wasn't popular to do this you weren't going to rooms filled up with people like you 16 years ago people wanting to get out and do this type of ministry so I was alone most of the time the first three years and I thank
- 01:06:22
- God for that I want to encourage you guys that if you get days where you feel like you're the only one there and you probably are going to be the only one there don't yell where's the church enjoy that time because he's there with you in a special way it might not seem like it but he really truly is
- 01:06:43
- I learned more about Jesus and about God in those three years than I could have ever possibly doing anything else and in any other way and he will bless you in the most possible of course we want help and of course we want people there and I want people to be supporting you and helping you wherever you are but don't shy away from those days they really are good days and can be some of the best days of ministry ever really in fact honestly at our clinic especially in the afternoon or a lot of people can come early in the morning and then they have to go about their business of the day and I like it when there's just a couple of us there because people are much more open to coming and speaking to you than if all of us were there but if there's just a couple of us there you know they'll come and talk to you and my whole,
- 01:07:45
- I have a little tiny wall, pony wall that separates the property there and my goal every morning is
- 01:07:51
- I ask the Lord to fill somebody sitting on that wall next to me being able to speak to them and that's the that's the goal and there um but I forgot where I was
- 01:08:08
- I gotta tell you I had a stroke in April and so I might zip in and out here in a few places and I'll forget where I was but just bear with me but I'll I'll the only thing
- 01:08:22
- I can do as far as this goes you all are ministering in completely different places, completely different situations completely different everything so all
- 01:08:33
- I can speak to in all honesty is where I minister at and if you can pull something out of that that can help you
- 01:08:44
- I'd be very happy but I also know, you know I've been to the one in Bristol where Amanda's been
- 01:08:54
- I've served there, that's a difficult place, I've been to Phoenix and been to some of that nonsense
- 01:09:02
- I've tromped through cactuses outside of Phoenix with Raleigh Haggard and John Speed trying to talk to people at one there so I understand that everybody has a different thing but there's basic things
- 01:09:18
- I think that we all have to do so I'm just gonna run down what it's like at our clinic and what we do at that time it usually opens at 9 o 'clock every morning,
- 01:09:31
- I try to be there between 7 .30 and 8 o 'clock because for one reason is and I think probably all of you that do this ministry can probably attest to this that a lot of people come early and they come early a lot of the time because they don't want to do it and they think if they can hurry up and get it done, it'll be done and if you can talk to them you know, it's gold it's solid gold, so many of them choose life actually
- 01:10:03
- I have a wonderful place where I send them to it's called
- 01:10:09
- Choices Pregnancy Center, it's a ladies doctor's office with a real lady doctor there we have real lady
- 01:10:16
- RNs they're all all the ones there are godly women,
- 01:10:22
- I watch on Facebook people upset with the pregnancy centers that they're sending people to and I can certainly
- 01:10:28
- I would hate to have to deal with that, but the way I know that ours is good is because so many of the volunteers from the ones
- 01:10:36
- I send them to come and help me on the sidewalk so I know exactly what they're saying, I know exactly what they're doing,
- 01:10:42
- I know their exact view of it all so again, I'm probably blessed more than people in that area but I have a wonderful place to get people started at they get a free ultrasound of course, and then they get a free financial help in the state of Florida, they get them on Medicaid if they're if they need that, they do it all immediately right there and then of course they get them start on physical help as well, the biggest thing that helps with mine is that my pastors at my church will back up every single thing
- 01:11:25
- I tell a lady if I tell a lady I'll pay three months of her rent back rent you know all the things that it could be they will back me 100%, whatever
- 01:11:39
- I say usually the people that say that they're in all this dire need really aren't,
- 01:11:46
- I mean it's very rare that we even really have to help anybody, but they've blown this so much up into their minds that they think we at least have that covered we try to have absolutely everything covered, our church actually has a fund for people in our church to help pay to adopt babies actually,
- 01:12:11
- I mean our church has actual prayer groups for to fight abortion they oh, oh thank
- 01:12:23
- God, there is a God laughter I've been dying, oh thank you thank you see
- 01:12:31
- Don was supposed to do this but that's Don, you know laughter but see you shouldn't have prayed for me to feel better laughter now you're going to pay, oh okay
- 01:12:44
- I didn't realize that but so anyway the church is absolutely valuable, and I know a lot of people always say they say how do
- 01:12:54
- I get, my church won't do anything, my church won't this my church won't, I always say please, the thing that changed ours laughter the one that changed that changes a church is when you bring a girl that has chosen life, that really does need help, and you bring her into the church, and you disciple her, and as she's going through her pregnancies, she's getting bigger and bigger and the ladies in the church just start mothering on her you know what
- 01:13:28
- I mean, and then when that baby's born, you make sure every single person in that church holds that baby and smells, there's no smell like that in the world, right and it changes people, and when they see somebody come to Christ, and they see this baby growing, and they see this baby now growing up in the church and going through the nursery, and going through all that stuff it becomes as normal as anything else in your church it really does so I always just say bring them your fruit now maybe you're in one that's really bad
- 01:14:07
- I don't know, I don't have an answer for anything other than that I really don't but then throughout the day at the church the way it works is we have a brochure the living waters in the womb tract that's the one
- 01:14:27
- I use I only use that and we've had so many girls that take those and go in I mean it's not like every week or anything, but over the years there's been many that have gone in there and on the back they have that little square thing where you can do your phone
- 01:14:47
- I mean you young people know how to do that but anyway it pops up the 180 video and they're sitting in there, they all have their headphones on and nobody knows what they're doing and they'll actually watch that video sitting in the lobby of the abortion clinic, and many have come out and chosen life watching that video so it shows a little bit of development about the baby and all that in the brochure itself plus it has a little short gospel message in it as well and then
- 01:15:20
- I give them our place makes these cards about that big the pregnancy center says what they can do for them on it and has a map on the back and directions and then
- 01:15:32
- I give them my card and over there if they if a lady shows up with my card they know that they met me and they'll then put them to the front of the list of everything that's going on there at choices and then they'll be seen there immediately so no appointment necessary, no anything so we try to cover all that and then around about 10 o 'clock depending on what it is after they're all in there
- 01:16:06
- I'm fortunate enough to be close enough to the building about 25 feet from the front door and I preach a sermon there every day it lasts about 45 minutes and it covers pretty much everything you can imagine and that is when 90 some percent of the people that have chosen life when they choose life it's when either that or right afterwards they get very convicted
- 01:16:43
- God God convicts people people harden their hearts, even the ones that go through with it they're convicted
- 01:16:49
- I mean heavily but they but the thing I learned was there's no you know you can show up with all the little cool little sayings like I don't know that people will come and yell at these people and they'll say abortion, one wounded one dead or something
- 01:17:11
- I've never seen any of that stuff turn anybody's heart but I see God's word turn their heart and I always try to get people,
- 01:17:18
- I get people like street preachers will call me or text me and they'll say hey I'm coming down to serve with you on Thursday and I say why well because I want to we don't need you you know because we don't want people down there that are arrogant number one,
- 01:17:38
- I'm not saying all street preachers are but I always tell people you know you're welcome if if you can show up here and you can and you're prepared to preach a site specific message like what it has to do with what's going on here, you know not everywhere else you know the fire coming down from the mountains and all this kind of stuff and but a site specific message as to what abortion is what
- 01:18:06
- God thinks of it why you need to repent and turn from this and the care that he will give you if you trust him, how he's never let one girl down in all the years
- 01:18:16
- I've ever been there not one that has put their trust in him, if you're not willing to preach that kind of sermon, please don't come because you'll just be a hindrance actually more than anything and so that's what we try to do but usually that's when the people choose life but the other advantage that we have there than a lot of places like you probably go to is ours lasts all day long, they get them in there at 9 o 'clock, they give them 9 o 'clock appointments they all have the same appointment time so you get 25 -30 people showing up at 9 o 'clock and then they sit in there sometimes till 6 o 'clock at night before the abortionist even gets there so you've got all that time you know to share the word with them and they come out they need cigarettes have saved more babies than anything on earth in our clinic,
- 01:19:16
- I'm sorry you know that's the truth, they come out and you get a chance to talk to them and as the day wears on God's word is like banging around in their head in their heart and they they'll come out with questions and they'll come out and talk and fights will erupt between the guy and the girl you'll have all this kind of stuff going, it's very tiring doing this because it is, you know
- 01:19:47
- I'm there from 7 .30 or 8 in the morning till 4 .30 in the afternoon everyday and it's like it's just never ending, it's just everyday you go back to the same people just different faces, same excuses, same craziness the same, all of it but that time is an advantage that's why we don't get all excited like when they come we're not you gotta, you know you don't have that tension of like oh that baby's gonna be dead in 20 minutes or something we try to talk to them like we would talk to our next door neighbor or something like not being all hyped up, not being all pumped up because we know we have time and we know that God's word is gonna work
- 01:20:33
- I'll tell you over the years I've been there I'm gonna tell you this with um um
- 01:20:39
- I can't stress enough I tell people people think
- 01:20:45
- I'm something I am absolutely nothing I am absolutely when
- 01:20:51
- I tell you this I mean it from, it's not a false humility it's anything, I know who
- 01:20:56
- I am I know what I am, I'm actually the most obnoxious stinking guy you've probably ever met but uh but I have been able to see the
- 01:21:08
- Lord in this time, in this nine years I've been able to see him turn the hearts of over 2 ,500 girls that have chosen life that's not counting the turnaways that you don't know about until you know they just leave and you wonder they just vanish out into thin air somewhere and you don't know but I could never take credit for one of those,
- 01:21:33
- I don't have that kind of power to turn a heart, do any of you? can you take that black heart of some of those people going in there
- 01:21:40
- I see God do it like that in an instant of time, the most hateful angry, mid sentence cussing you out just BAM and it's like wow, you know
- 01:21:54
- I don't have that power, it does not belong to me, I don't and neither do you, but his word he promises in Romans 1 16, he says that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation, and it why would we want to use anything but his power, right
- 01:22:12
- I mean, what can we possibly manufacture that's more powerful than that, now when
- 01:22:18
- I say the gospel, I don't mean that just a gospel presentation like you would typically say, but you weave it you weave the gospel through what's happening there in front of you and each individual person, you can learn a lot about people by reading the stickers on the back of their cars by what they're wearing and all these things, you try to use it to, number one, get to know them, and then to enter into them, you know, enter into their life somehow, and you try to weave that gospel through all of that and it's not easy,
- 01:22:57
- I mean, it's and you're not always going to be right, I mean, when you people can fool you,
- 01:23:05
- I mean, you're not going to but I've seen God do the most absolutely amazing things what?
- 01:23:17
- tell us the story okay you didn't know this was being directed this is a
- 01:23:23
- Don Martin production but I will tell you a story, okay,
- 01:23:30
- I told it already earlier today to these guys, I told them one from a month ago and this will show you how much power
- 01:23:37
- I've got, right, to turn a heart I even told Knucklehead over there yesterday Michael, but I told you
- 01:23:46
- I was obnoxious but I one day I was out there preaching and I had
- 01:23:53
- Joe and Yoli from my church were there and I was I was just preaching,
- 01:24:00
- I was on the sidewalk preaching I hear a car pull up behind me on the street I hear some guys start screaming and hollering in Spanish and I don't pay attention,
- 01:24:10
- I don't stop I don't quit, I don't do anything I just stay focused and so Yoli says
- 01:24:19
- John, I think you need to come and talk to this one and I said okay so I stopped preaching and I went out in the street there's this guy with tears pouring down his face, he's on his phone and he was a transportation driver for a medical medical transportation taking some patient to a doctor and he's crying and the guy's sitting in the back seat and he's trying to figure out why is someone preaching out here, why is this guy crying what's all going on and then he starts telling
- 01:24:53
- Yoli the story and the passenger finally realized, hey this is going to be a while he got out and walked the rest of the way to his thing but he was happy for this guy he gets his wife on FaceTime and then he's showing me and he's just rambling in Spanish fast
- 01:25:10
- Spanish, I mean there's no way I could ever and here's his wife and she's crying, and here's this little baby she's holding about this big and then it turns out they were a turn away about 14 months earlier and we didn't know
- 01:25:30
- I mean I had no idea about this because when they just vanish like that you don't ever know and a lot of you guys if you're in a place where you're far away from them and you don't able to really one on one with people, just know that people are leaving, that you will never even know
- 01:25:51
- Joe's life, I guarantee you but so they're talking and he's all thankful, he gets out of his car and he hugs me and all this stuff and then
- 01:26:04
- I thought I gotta go back to preach so he gets back in his car and I'm walking back to preach and something hit me and I said, wait a minute
- 01:26:16
- I said Yoli, she said what? I said stop that guy and so she hollered and he stopped and she goes what?
- 01:26:25
- I said Yoli he speaks Spanish and she said
- 01:26:32
- I said ask him how in the heck he knew what I was preaching and he heard it in his own language him and his wife now
- 01:26:42
- I mean how is that, do I have that power? I don't have that power man, I don't have any power
- 01:26:48
- I'm the most broken guy you would ever imagine, I liken myself to the guy in Mark chapter 5 when
- 01:26:57
- Jesus went to look for an evangelist to the Gentiles it says he had to go across the lake, so he goes across the lake and he goes to find his first evangelist to the
- 01:27:10
- Gentiles, he goes to a cemetery and he finds a guy with a thousand demons in him, right?
- 01:27:16
- and so he cleans that guy up and then that guy as you can imagine,
- 01:27:23
- I'll shorten the story up a lot, but as you can imagine that guy is now clean he's healed,
- 01:27:30
- Jesus they want him to leave because all the pigs got killed and so he's getting in the boat to leave, and that guy wants to get in the boat, and Jesus says you, no you stay here and you tell the people the wonderful things that God has done and then the next time
- 01:27:52
- Jesus comes to that area, it's called the Decapolis you guys can look all this up the Decapolis was an area where there were ten city states and all the ruling empires had their own cities there in this area, and part of dealing with Rome and Israel and all that and when
- 01:28:12
- Jesus came back there the next time all the people came out to him and the first thing
- 01:28:18
- Jesus did there then was heal a deaf guy, remember? signifying that he's bringing the gospel now to the
- 01:28:26
- Gentiles and to the masses anyway, that's what I look at myself I'm just a broken guy sinner beyond belief you know,
- 01:28:37
- I'm still you really wouldn't like me if you knew me, but I'm just a regular guy
- 01:28:44
- I don't have any of that power I haven't been to seminary, I haven't done any of that stuff, but God called me there and he will equip whoever he calls and when you go he's going to equip you he's going to give you everything you need and he's going to do things that you will never ever in a million years believe but that's one example there's thousands of them, but the whole point is that I don't know how
- 01:29:19
- I got off on this, I was trying to go in order of how to do this kind of ministry, but again
- 01:29:28
- I don't know, I don't understand like the area where you're at, I know some things that you don't want to have, you don't want to have people that are that are fighting you on the sidewalk,
- 01:29:40
- I mean that is, that's like the biggest no -no ever, and you don't want to waste your time with them at all you just carry on and do what you're going to do and God's going to he'll sort it all out because, you know,
- 01:29:54
- I've been through all that as well but it's honestly, you know, I tell people that I show up and watch him show off because I can't do any of this stuff,
- 01:30:09
- I'm not saying it's easy, it's kind of miserable really, I mean it's you're out there in Florida, I don't know what it's like where you live, but you know, summer over there, it's 9 o 'clock in the morning, it can be 95 with 95 % humidity and you get out of your car and it's dripping off your elbows already, but it's, you know, but the joy that when you get to see him move, there's nothing worth you know, there's nothing there's nothing like that boy, he protects you in a special way he does everything he really truly becomes your all in all when you're put yourself in that position and there's nothing on earth worth that I mean, nothing is comes even close to that I kind of got to regroup here and figure out where I'm going, but how much time do
- 01:31:04
- I have anybody know? no so I have 10 more minutes how about if I do this then, yeah why don't
- 01:31:17
- I see if any of you guys, and maybe we could all maybe one of you have an answer to somebody else's question about where you guys are are serving at anybody have a question?
- 01:31:31
- yes, sir yeah, I just had a question about if, you know, something that, you know, I think all of us, you know, have seen is maybe some, like, legal problems, you know, that might come up, you know with, just basically, you know, either coming from driving behind me, and have you had any trouble with that?
- 01:31:47
- Oh, I have to tell you you know, at the beginning, yeah but here's the thing if you can possibly do it get somebody in your church don't you have an old cripple guy in your church or something that can adopt that's on disability or retired that can adopt that abortion clinic and that he can be there every minute they're open he's getting paid anyway or he's on retirement, he's got, right he can do it, what else is he going to do?
- 01:32:13
- watch Andy Griffith all day long? but, get him once you own that place things happen
- 01:32:22
- I have the police I couldn't believe it either but last week,
- 01:32:27
- I'm out there preaching, and I hear this I didn't hear it actually, because I get in this, like, zone and I have to have people watch so that nobody comes and attacks me they'll, you know, they'll run up and I'll know that somebody's coming and, because I get in this weird place when
- 01:32:45
- I'm preaching and I I didn't hear the car pull up I didn't even hear the people yelling and then all of a sudden
- 01:32:54
- I hear, John! and I turn around and it's the police and I turn around and I look at him and I go what's up, what did
- 01:33:04
- I do? and he goes, no, no, no, you don't get it John, preach louder John, preach longer so I don't have those problems but I really believe it's because I own the place, you know what
- 01:33:17
- I mean? it's because they're not coming out there in fact, when somebody calls the police on me, which is every day there, because they don't think
- 01:33:26
- I have a right to be there you know, all this stuff, the police just tell them he has every right to be there, it's just John, if you don't want to hear him, go sit inside or go sit in your car but every once in a while they'll make a claim and they'll come out, and then they basically end up giving them a civics lesson but the thing is own the place own it, that's not the devil's land it's really not he doesn't belong there they don't belong in that place that's
- 01:34:01
- God's and you gotta look at it that way, that's your place those people are yes sir winter in Alaska what?
- 01:34:19
- winter in Alaska do they have a DCF up there? department of children and families winter in Alaska sitting in the car no,
- 01:34:32
- I I don't like kids where I'm at it's not because of exposure and all that but ours is such a weird thing, we have these two driveways and then the clinic's right here and people hit that driveway at 40 miles an hour coming in there, and boom and if there's a kid when they're coming around there's a kid standing there, adult, anybody they're going to be dead but if you can get them in a safe place and all that, yeah heck yeah,
- 01:35:03
- I know many many families in Florida where I live that have done that people coming in, moms coming in, seeing babies
- 01:35:16
- I don't know if that works no, it's not safe yes so if we do have all the opposition out there cause ours we do there's volunteers yeah yeah yeah what
- 01:35:43
- I always try to do when they've done that at ours they don't last long, cause number one they're not going to get paid by them and number two they're not there the same reason we are right, they're not looking as a spiritual thing between us and God and you know the battle that's before us but I've had them there they've turned on the sprinklers and they've done all that but I always try, like the workers when they'll go get the girls heads and put their heads over their ears and walk them up the driveway and all that usually, what
- 01:36:23
- I always say is young lady, come and talk to me about what they don't want you to hear and it really gets people inquisitive and usually it ended up working against them you gotta try and use them as your thing
- 01:36:43
- I know one thing, one big deal I'm sure somebody would ask what do you do when someone says you're judging us do you ever hear that?
- 01:36:55
- here's what I tell them I say, I'm not judging you my judgment wouldn't mean anything even if I did
- 01:37:02
- I'm here to warn you about his judgment and try to protect you from it but you in fact are the actual judge and you have just condemned your baby to death you've just judged your baby not worthy of life and nobody has a comeback for that, none of them, they don't have a
- 01:37:23
- I think we're, yes ma 'am My name is Tina Brown and I've got a job in Oklahoma City and you're my hero
- 01:37:34
- I follow you and I would like to ask you since I have to be there
- 01:37:39
- I will be there tomorrow and I'll speak briefly at the Capitol Tuesday and then
- 01:37:45
- I'll be back there Wednesday, could you please come to my gate sir when is this, tomorrow?
- 01:37:52
- yes tomorrow well let me check with the schedule and see what they want me to do but yeah sure come on down she just came down she just moved down next to you from Austin she's down there now yeah
- 01:38:13
- I think that's it for time right guys is that it yeah
- 01:38:19
- I think we're done but if there's any other questions I don't want you to miss any other classes but if you want to come back in with more questions come back in gotta give you a way to escape thank you guys do you believe in sin when
- 01:38:42
- I say believe I don't mean committing sin, do you believe there is such a thing as sin I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world that have disease from their parents that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically delinquents, prisoners all sorts of things, just marked when they're born that to me is the greatest sin that people can commit that began here really shaped the course of the future in the
- 01:40:34
- United States of America and shaped the culture itself and it really started here at this first legal birth control clinic in the
- 01:40:43
- United States of America and this was the birth control research clinical research league, bureau and this particular location here
- 01:40:55
- Margaret Sanger worked long and hard for a moment a space in the
- 01:41:01
- United States of America where she can actually promulgate and propagate her world view which was a wicked evil world, let's be honest
- 01:41:09
- Margaret Sanger is no hero she's lauded as a hero today but we need to understand who was
- 01:41:16
- Margaret Sanger, is she the hero everyone thinks that she is, no not at all so who was she, what did she believe so she was born in 1879 to an atheist immigrant father and her mother was
- 01:41:26
- Irish Catholic she actually was secretly baptized into the Catholic Church when she was a child and then when her mother passed away at 17 she went off to boarding school and that's when everything changed for her, she became all about free love and feminism and socialism and she at that point began to hate
- 01:41:46
- Christianity and so at the turn of the 19th century we see at the same time she's around right, you have
- 01:41:54
- Stalin you have Hitler and you have Mussolini and the other three, not
- 01:42:00
- Margaret Sanger, the other three are obviously villainized right because they combined approximately 30 million people they murdered, what's crazy
- 01:42:09
- Margaret Sanger you're talking about she's a hero to so many people, she's more than doubled that now because of Planned Parenthood and the amount of people she's killed even before they had a chance to live so yes definitely not a good person by any means, definitely not a hero definitely someone that we should be telling the truth about so we're talking about telling the truth about Margaret Sanger Margaret Sanger actually believed that there were lower classes of people or lower races of people who were not worthy to be cared about, they were seen as parasites and her particular world view it wasn't just about birth control the birth control clinical research bureau league, everything she was doing here it wasn't simply about birth control taking a pill or a diaphragm she was smuggling from overseas that really wasn't the main point she had a world view that she was living out, she was putting legs on birth control was just the tip of the iceberg what was underneath that is that she actually believed,
- 01:43:08
- I know she believed the slobs, she believes the Eastern Europeans, she believed the black people were actually the lower class of human beings,
- 01:43:16
- Jews and she wanted to actually have something with legs on it that would actually help to exterminate end those classes of people and she actually is on record saying that she wanted to exterminate the
- 01:43:33
- Negro population and so is it an accident that we see that in the history of Planned Parenthood and this movement that Margaret Sanger began that we actually see the abortion clinics, abortion facilities in predominantly lower income areas is it an accident we see it right next to where there is a larger population of black people and Hispanic people she believed that the
- 01:44:02
- Aryan race was the superior race, the fit race the fit race, everyone else was unfit ok, yeah and so one of her mentors
- 01:44:09
- Thomas Malthus he actually taught that we should only allow essentially those to live that were necessary for the desired population and everyone else should be necessarily exterminated so if you weren't needed, you should be put to death even before you had a chance to live so when we talk about sterilization that goes along with that yeah, absolutely
- 01:44:36
- Malthus actually he wanted to put the unfit these other races, the negros as they call them, not what
- 01:44:43
- I say Hispanics whoever that wasn't Aryan, he wanted to cram them into housing projects narrow streets and wanted to introduce the plague to them that was his desire, he literally wanted to exterminate them and she was all for that and speaking of what we have today at Planned Parenthood there's a saying that good roots produce good fruit now with Planned Parenthood bitter roots have produced bitter fruit so I was just reading a little bit ago and so essentially almost half of the black babies are aborted in this nation almost half here in New York City, it's over that it's over half of all black babies are aborted in New York City so it's exactly what she wanted only it hasn't gone quite as far because there's still a black population and there's a propaganda machine that makes her dream
- 01:45:37
- I can't believe I'm touching this right now it makes her dream, her vision seem like it's about women's rights and their bodies and their freedom when in reality if you know
- 01:45:48
- Margaret Sanger and if you know her world view, if you know the world view of the killer angel then you know that really what's going on behind Planned Parenthood the women's rights, reproductive rights and my body, my choice all that, there's something really much deeper beneath that, she got what she wanted in terms of her believing there was a lower class of human beings believing that black people ought to be exterminated believing that they shouldn't propagate as a race, she got what she wanted and in particular we look at New York itself,
- 01:46:24
- I mean in New York her dream is fulfilled, I mean she's wiping out the black population it's a wicked, evil, disgusting thing, she was an evil, disgusting, disgraceful human being and it began, much of it here, right here in this location on this regular old street in New York City, right here what we're touching right here, this
- 01:46:48
- Margaret Sanger Clinic you see, world views have consequences theology matters if you were to talk about Margaret Sanger for 60 seconds if you had 60 seconds to tell somebody about Margaret Sanger and why she was evil and why her vision of the future was wicked what would you say?
- 01:47:08
- Well first she was an atheist she was a socialist, she was a thief a liar, and an adulterer, she wanted free love, she abandoned her husband and her children she stole from Planned Parenthood at one point she actually was removed from the board because she was stealing funds that they raised to invest them in the black market the list goes on and on she lied about her resume, she lied about who she was, she actually went as far as to change the record in her mother's family bible in order to make herself look better she was a vile, evil person, there was nothing righteous about her whatsoever and yet she still celebrated she was a
- 01:47:46
- Nazi sympathizer you look at Stalin and Hitler both took what she was preaching and applied it to their regimes in the
- 01:47:57
- USSR, I don't know I guess it was Russia then, and Germany she actually had Hitler's main guy that was in charge of sterilization and eugenics was on her board at one point so she was supportive of all the
- 01:48:11
- Third Reich, eliminating the Jews which is crazy, we're saying that because literally right next to us is the, what is this called?
- 01:48:19
- The Center for Jewish History it's right next door and she wanted to eliminate them it's crazy that is wild, right here at the
- 01:48:27
- Margaret Sanger Clinic, the first legal birth contraceptive clinic in the
- 01:48:34
- United States of America is literally next door to the Center for Jewish History it's amazing that they can be sitting next to each other in terms of everything that she believed about the future her hatred for particular races, particular classes of people is something that's disgusting and ought to be actually exposed,
- 01:48:57
- Margaret Sanger was no hero, her vision of the future was no utopia I mean it was a perverse, disgusting
- 01:49:04
- Nazi -esque utopia but I think one of the things that most awes me about this is this is just some regular old street in New York City and this was not very long ago in our history and so much evil swept across the
- 01:49:25
- United States of America because a woman believed in something evil but she held to that world view and she fought for it and because you've got this woman who planted here and fought for this 60 million babies dead in our country because of her movement because of her belief system and if anything
- 01:49:44
- I can think of is that there are little pieces of land little moments in history where things can legitimately happen,
- 01:49:54
- I mean not far from here is Stonewall and so we're actually in a little piece of property in New York where we have the first legal contraceptive clinic in the
- 01:50:09
- United States of America that actually launched the abortion movement to just slaughter babies wholesale and then actually
- 01:50:16
- Stonewall the Stonewall Riots were not far from here at all and there's another movement that actually changed the course of our nation, the culture in our nation that came from her essentially so you've got
- 01:50:30
- Margaret Sanger, you've got Stonewall and this little part of New York City so much happened here that actually recreated the culture in many ways so for me
- 01:50:43
- I think about that as pastors thinking about the future is massive armies to change a culture it takes people who believe very strongly in what they believe in and they're courageous enough to start standing up and fighting for it now
- 01:50:58
- I want to say when unbelievers can do that and become national historic landmarks after slaughtering 60 million human beings,
- 01:51:08
- I think we can do it with the gospel and with enough courage and boldness to be willing to lay our lives down to shape the future we stand on truth, we have answers she stood on atheism, nothing she had to borrow from our world view and this is important I think especially for where we're at now in our culture with this movement infiltrating the church now she firmly believed that Christianity and the church was her number one enemy and she sought to destroy the church from within and her and Malthus and all of her friends they hated
- 01:51:44
- Christian benevolence and generosity because they saw that as their enemy they saw the church helping those women that couldn't care for their babies she saw them as the enemy so she encouraged the women to abort their babies, to murder their babies instead of allowing the church to help and unfortunately the church has fallen right in line with that and so I think it's pretty eye opening where we are now again, she's got what she wanted if you look at a lot of the early tracks and propaganda that they were handing out here, from this clinic they would say things like hey, birth control don't kill your baby, don't take the life of your baby, she was actually arguing against abortion just do it, like diaphragms and just take these pills what about this medication for her early on because she was propagating her worldview she can only do it an inch at a time so early on she was actually saying don't kill your baby, don't take the life of your baby after you've created the baby just take these pills, just do these things first, and as soon as she got legalization, as soon as she got into effect, what was seen before as perverse, it really was it was against the law because it was seen as perverse then that's when it moved into the next stage, which was actual kill your baby you should be able to kill your baby at will so it starts just incrementally small steps, small stages and Margaret Sanger got what she wanted but Margaret Sanger belongs if there was a
- 01:53:15
- Mount Rushmore of wicked people in history and if it was like Stalin Hitler, Pol Pot, Mao Margaret Sanger most certainly belongs on that on that mountain of villains, villains in history and it's amazing because you see people like Hillary Clinton and other leftists and liberal politicians actually get in line praising, singing the praises of Sanger exactly, they're not ashamed of the history no, they know the history and they actually laud her as a hero of the movement, but if you look at her no question, objectively look at what she said, look what she did she despised certain classes of people, she hated black people, wanted to destroy them and we laud her as a hero she was a wicked, disgraceful excuse of a human being now of course, she's dead now if she was alive we'd be preaching the gospel to her calling to repentance, but she needs to go down in history as a villain because that's who
- 01:54:15
- Margaret Sanger was she was a villain this place right here housed one of the darkest individuals in human history
- 01:54:24
- I was going to say, speaking of incriminating she actually opened her first clinic in 1923 and was shut down because at that point it was seen as something that was not morally acceptable, and she actually she'd hand out the pamphlets she encouraged something called a
- 01:54:40
- Clorox douche that was her first birth control method put Clorox inside, that will take care of everything and then when she like you said, when she opened this then she started smuggling diaphragms from Holland and just a history of lying of being dishonest of disguising the truth and so,
- 01:55:04
- I wanted to make sure I mentioned this, I'm wearing my baby lover shirt we're baby lovers, because we want to rescue the babies in the womb from being murdered if I was a
- 01:55:13
- Planned Parenthood supporter they would say baby liver because they're guilty of selling baby livers even though they want to lie about it and disguise it and act like it doesn't happen, it's proven, it happens and again, that's just bitter fruit of the bitter root that's right, that's where it all came from alright, so I think one of the things we have to do to end abortion now in our nation, is start telling the truth about what happened to get us to this place of abortion wholesale across our land, and one of the things you have to do is tell the truth about the villains in history
- 01:55:46
- Margaret Sanger, villain in history not a hero, not a heroine and certainly not someone to be emulated by any of us, she was a villain she was a liar, she had a very corrupt world view, and Pastor Luke is right, when you have a corrupt root, you will have corrupt fruit and that's what we have with Margaret Sanger and her movement across the
- 01:56:06
- United States of America it started with a villain, and worldwide really right here, in this location right behind us, so again it takes people who are willing to be bold who believe in their world view and in particular, we know that God changes the world through the truth so get up, start speaking the truth start telling the truth, start talking about Margaret Sanger as the villain that she was and let's work to end abortion now feels good to be out of that heat, doesn't it?
- 01:56:41
- yes summertime is officially here hey guys here at Planned Parenthood in Nashville it's hard, it's been a real tough day here, one it's hot but man, there's been 30 cars roll through here and most of them abortions, so Wednesday now in Nashville has become a huge kill day so they're killing babies 5 days a week
- 01:57:09
- I go 2 or 3 days a week and struggle with the fact that you know, I'll be here tomorrow but I won't be here on Monday and babies will die on Monday if you really believe and know that's what's happening how can you not do something?
- 01:57:30
- don't go in let's go to the Hope Clinic can we guide you to the Hope Clinic please? can we guide you to the
- 01:57:38
- Hope Clinic? she's going in and so part of me going out there is it also gives me an excuse to engage everybody on the street and that's why
- 01:57:52
- I talk to everybody on the street, I wave at everybody I'm looking for opportunities to not just save a baby and rescue a life there but to bring life to somebody that doesn't understand the kingdom the good news of the kingdom the sad thing is
- 01:58:08
- I'm standing here on the chair just on the other side of the fence there's a car on the other side and I came in on the conversation and it turns out and he's listening and responsive but it's too late his child's already dead because I've had,
- 01:58:23
- I mean, through four years of conversations I've had some really good ones where I've been successful and then there's times where I've just bombed and it doesn't keep me from coming back you learn.
- 01:58:33
- Let's go get a free ultrasound free pregnancy test she's going to let her baby live? yes! how can we help?
- 01:58:42
- let's say a year from now abortion is over everywhere in the country what did it take from now until one year for that to happen?
- 01:58:53
- for the church to unite not only when I say the church
- 01:58:59
- I think the African American community within the church has to rise up I'm against racism call me man call me.
- 01:59:09
- Hey Tony ask this discord about Margaret Sanger ask her who Margaret Sanger is who looked at black people as animals.
- 01:59:17
- You know I test this every day I ask the question of Margaret Sanger today I did it multiple times but very few people in the
- 01:59:24
- African American community have ever heard that name they just don't know they don't have the knowledge of who she is and how this whole concept is based upon racism ask the
- 01:59:36
- Lord really every day is this what you want me to do and so he's burned it into my heart to do it
- 01:59:47
- I think until it's done so I'm going to bring up in a moment here
- 01:59:56
- Rusty Thomas some of you guys probably heard this story before but was friends with Marcus and he sent me a private screening of babies are murdered here this is many years ago
- 02:00:08
- I dropped my kids off they're home schooled they have a co -op and so I drove across town
- 02:00:13
- I dropped the kids off I see Marcus's message come in the drop box file I can preview babies are murdered here before everyone else sees it and I'm in my car after I dropped my kids off I did not know who
- 02:00:27
- Rusty Thomas was but I sat there in the parking lot and I watched babies are murdered here in the parking lot of my children's co -op all the way through and there are moments in my life that I can mark as very profound that feel like yesterday that were totally transformative for me moments not a lot but you know there's spots there and I can always point to those moments where God did something enormous in my life to change my heart to change my mind to put me on a new course that affected so much of where you see we are today and this was one of those moments again never had known who
- 02:01:05
- Rusty was but I'm in my car and I'm watching Rusty preach and my life was totally transformed from that moment in my car watching on my smart phone from a drop box file
- 02:01:21
- I was in my car and I was weeping weeping during that sermon and I became completely convicted and challenged
- 02:01:33
- I would have identified my whole Christian life as pro -life I would have told you that abortion is wrong and every year
- 02:01:41
- I think even from when he planted Apologia Church it wasn't many years before he started this but on a particular
- 02:01:48
- Sunday I would preach a pro -life sermon which is the norm right you preach that pro -life sermon on that day you talk about pro -life issues at Starbucks and in your
- 02:01:59
- Christian bubble and that's pretty much the extent of it and after God used Rusty's sermon in my life it went from Starbucks to our little huddle to the world and it was because of a very faithful message preacher
- 02:02:13
- Rusty Thomas who has now become one of my friends, solid brother and a mentor and father in the faith so Rusty Thomas come on up brother and I actually have a really cool two cool experiences with Rusty I'll share with you just on a personal level one is
- 02:02:58
- I got to sit in Sheriff Joe Arpaio's office for about an hour with Rusty, my son and Sheriff Joe which
- 02:03:08
- I never thought, how did that happen by the way? I don't know it's a
- 02:03:13
- God thing it was a God thing and so we were with Sheriff Joe for about an hour talking to him about the cause of abolition and sad to say but I'll go ahead and share with everybody here, sad to say it never happened but basically he was up for re -election and he did tell us in his office that day that if it was his last time being elected, it was going to be his last run, if he was re -elected he was essentially going to criminalize abortion the doctrine of the lesser man in Maricopa County in Phoenix he was just essentially going to wave the banner of him as Sheriff Joe and toughest sheriff in America and he was essentially going to say no more abortions allowed and then
- 02:03:53
- George Soros funded his opponent's campaign and he won and so Sheriff Joe didn't but it was actually an amazing experience to see that if you get in front of a sheriff like Sheriff Joe, he was willing to actually put his neck out and say
- 02:04:08
- I'll stop the murder of children in Maricopa County, unfortunately in God's providence he wasn't allowed to be sheriff again but it did open my eyes to something, these sheriffs are out there and I think that they will do their duty if Christians will get in front of them and call them to consistency, so that was my first story with Rusty second one is fairly recently, we had a difficult last couple of months of ministry
- 02:04:34
- I don't think I told you this but I had all this stuff going on in my head, you know just praying and everything else,
- 02:04:39
- I sat down with Rusty and I was there to minister to him and it turned into two hours of him basically telling me everything that was in my head it was one of the most divine things in my life and I just wanted to share that with you, it was really crazy,
- 02:04:51
- I was there for you and the next thing you know it was two hours of you ministering to me and telling me everything that I've been praying about and thinking about,
- 02:04:59
- I don't know if you saw my face the two hours we were sitting there having lunch together, I don't know if I looked like a deer in the headlights but I was thinking how does he know everything that I've been asking
- 02:05:09
- God about and you just were speaking to me and I was supposed to be there for you so I'm sorry. Were you there? You were there for me brother, you were there for me and it meant a lot it meant a lot to not just me personally but my family and I thank you for that.
- 02:05:24
- Of course. So Rusty you've been doing this for a very very long time go ahead and tell us what does this mean to you to see a consistent bill listen to Senator Silk a moment ago, where in the world did he come from?
- 02:05:43
- We had been praying for him a long time we didn't know it was him but the prayers were there for a very long time.
- 02:05:51
- What's it mean to you to see all this come into fruition? You've been standing outside of abortion mills with the ashes of dead babies falling on your head.
- 02:06:02
- What's this mean to you to see all this? Well when we started
- 02:06:10
- Jeff, I think a lot of us that are older in this room a lot of us got birthed in this battle in the fall of 1988 at the
- 02:06:20
- Atlanta Democratic National Convention and my own personal story was
- 02:06:31
- I was always a preacher of righteousness. I was a pastor, I was an evangelist
- 02:06:36
- I didn't shy away from the burning issues of the day and I even back then I was saying abortion was murder and of course there was a huge struggle because I was saying one thing but I was living an entirely different kind of life and so my rhetoric and my actions were not consistent with the almighty and so the way the
- 02:07:05
- Lord kind of did some things that actually set me up is
- 02:07:11
- I came across this video tape called the massacre of innocence and up to that point abortion was something we kind of argued about.
- 02:07:23
- You know you had pro -life rebuttals to pro -choice arguments and things of this nature so it was an issue we debated like back and forth but up until that time
- 02:07:36
- I had never seen an abortion and so this pastor friend,
- 02:07:44
- I call him a friend, he absolutely ruined my life because he gave me that video tape and so one night
- 02:07:54
- I was all alone and put the tape on and it was first theological, it was doctrinal it was tracing the roots of child sacrifice, the shedding of innocent blood biblically and he did a tremendous job it was
- 02:08:11
- Eric Holmberg, did a tremendous job biblically but it was the latter part of the video that it was my
- 02:08:21
- Isaiah 6 moment where I literally had saw the Lord and his mind towards this and so he had this the old rocker
- 02:08:33
- Pat Benatar and she had a song about child abuse called Hell is for Children and every time she screams
- 02:08:43
- Hell is for Children there were like pictures of aborted baby and I'm literally seeing like arms and legs like severed from the torso decapitated heads and it was like blood everywhere to tell you
- 02:09:07
- I was not prepared for that assault upon my mind my emotions, my inner man
- 02:09:15
- I just it was too much and I literally turned off the tape
- 02:09:21
- I ran into my bedroom and I just lied prostrate before God and I'm talking about a wailing so intense that my chest hurt, it was like an accordion, like there was sounds coming out of me like a wounded animal
- 02:09:35
- I couldn't believe this nation that I loved had sunk to this level of depravity and wickedness and so I was undone,
- 02:09:46
- I was literally undone and then a week later
- 02:09:51
- I'm watching TV I'm watching Christians at death camps singing praises to God praying and being arrested and hauled away from death camps living out the doctrine of interposition to save these babies lives and I'm like what meaneth this and then a week later, this all happened within three weeks a week later
- 02:10:22
- I get a knock at a door from a local pastor and he asks me am
- 02:10:28
- I the pastor of this church and I said yes sir I am he says we need to talk and I said talk about what?
- 02:10:36
- he said I just got back from Atlanta, you were in Atlanta?
- 02:10:46
- and he said yes sir and as soon as he said that tears started to stream down my face, yes sir we have to talk what is happening, what's going on here, he said
- 02:10:58
- I'll tell you what's happening is God is birthing a spirit of repentance in the church of the living
- 02:11:06
- God because up to this point we had pointed our finger at the supreme court, we pointed our finger at the pro -choice groups, we pointed our finger at the usual suspects but this is the first time we're pointing the finger at the church of the living
- 02:11:25
- God and God used that to birth repentance and the fruit of the repentance was living out the doctrine of interposition and so brother that was the start of actually awakening the evangelical church to the evils of abortion now through the years obviously it's gone up and down and back and forth and things of this nature and when we started we could only see from afar what is taking place right now and then through the years
- 02:12:03
- God has raised up different brothers and different sisters I mean the work that was started here in Oklahoma with the abolitionist movement with men like Russell Hunter and Josh Malone and others in this area we in the rescue movement had the same biblical principles there was no compromise, no exceptions but I gotta tell you there was men like Russell and others that God used to really tighten and refine the language and the terminology and to tighten up the principles and then all of a sudden
- 02:12:44
- God uses pastor Matt Chuella who produces this tremendous work the doctrine of the lesser magistrate and as far as I am concerned that is the book for this time in our nation's history and so what has happened you have sort of the old time rescuers who always believe these things to be true but through others like Russell, like pastor
- 02:13:24
- Matt, like others they actually took those biblical principles and created a platform that we can now stand on those principles and bring it into the political realm this is huge one of the reasons why
- 02:13:45
- I never fought the battle politically I always fought it culturally,
- 02:13:50
- I always fought it on the streets and then the churches. One of the reasons why we could not according to conscience fight this battle biblically politically is because we were compromised to our core.
- 02:14:06
- We were making deals with the devil that God did not give us the moral authority to make and so so when these brothers came along they literally, what they provided for the church of Jesus Christ is a solid foundation that honors the
- 02:14:33
- Lord that upholds his truth and his commandment and now we're bringing it into the political realm to once again disciple the magistrate and call them to do their duty which is to use their lawful authority to interpose, to welcome these children into this life and protect them by law.
- 02:15:00
- Huge. So people may not be able to tell from your hat, you're a
- 02:15:09
- Texan Where's Russ? Where is he? You guys are kind of in a race to see who will be the first state, right?
- 02:15:19
- You're trying anyways? The first state to abolish abortion? I think we're all sort of competitive by nature
- 02:15:28
- But here's the thing though Russ has helped us in Texas and of course we help him here.
- 02:15:34
- You guys have the anti -Joseph Silk there in Texas don't you? An anti -Joseph
- 02:15:39
- Silk? Yeah. Who's that? Senator Leach Oh Lord have mercy Did you have to bring that up?
- 02:15:46
- Well here's what I want to ask you What can Texans or non -Texans do to help you guys in Texas in your fight and what you got going on?
- 02:15:57
- Okay well just give you a little update on that First of all thank you for all of you that reached out to our family when we went through our situation with our son
- 02:16:12
- Jeremiah and I do want you to know that God did not waste his life nor his death and God powerfully used it in the state of Texas and you're going to be interviewing
- 02:16:27
- Bradley Pierce right after me and he was very instrumental in taking what
- 02:16:36
- God worked through Jeremiah to build a little army in the state of Texas with the
- 02:16:42
- Jeremiah Wish campaign and he'll tell you more how God prospered that How many saw the actual hearing in Texas when hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of abolitionists addressed that committee
- 02:17:01
- It might have been a world record, I don't know
- 02:17:06
- It might be one of the longest hearings in history because we started in the evening and we didn't end until like 3 or 4 o 'clock in the morning
- 02:17:16
- I mean incredible We did make history, that was the first time a bill of abolition was allowed a hearing and God's people showed up in force and I believe it was
- 02:17:39
- Thomas Hoffling who has run for president under the American Party He said before the committee there, do you recognize what's happening right now?
- 02:17:51
- Are you hearing what is happening? He said this is the death rattle of the pro -life movement and you don't even know it
- 02:18:00
- You don't even know it, but it's happening and I gotta tell you brothers and sisters, the toothpaste is out of the tube and it's not going back in.
- 02:18:10
- This is the future in Jesus mighty name you mark it down, amen?
- 02:18:16
- The train is leaving the station and it's time to get on board but anyway
- 02:18:23
- Jeff Leach was very personable he was patient he was somewhat kind and he was patronizing to Kendra and I over the loss of our son and we appreciated that, honestly we did but the fact of the matter is when it came to a bill of abolition that would completely outlawed abortion in the state of Texas he said because there's a penalty against the woman
- 02:19:06
- I cannot in good conscience support the bill so he allowed that bill to die in committee so it never got out so people can vote on it, but I gotta tell you brothers and sisters, these bills of abolition are so critically important because what
- 02:19:26
- Luke is getting here at is that there are pro -life politicians who
- 02:19:37
- I truly believe want to end the suffering and the injustice against the preborn but they're getting their marching orders from pro -life organizations that allow them an easier way to deal with this issue so one of the things that the bill of abolition does, it does separate the wheat from the chaff, do you understand what
- 02:20:03
- I mean? It begins to expose those who say they're pro -life only to get votes for their campaign and check it off okay, and so Jeff Leach really was exposed now here's the irony of it he is now known as a pro -life champion in Texas getting all kinds of awards and yet it was him and his committee that killed allowed to die the only bill that would actually have ended the suffering and the injustice against the preborn and so that's being exposed right now.
- 02:20:43
- Can I have you stress that again, especially for people who are maybe just jumping on this live stream that missed the first half as we're talking about the pro -life lobby and the pro -life industry, their methodology
- 02:20:54
- I saw Leach at the March for Life do a live stream and I struggled to watch it.
- 02:21:05
- I really did. I want to pray for the man. I want to show as much respect and as grace towards him as I possibly can but I know that he's responsible for stopping the bill that would have actually ended and criminalized abortion in the state of Texas and he was doing a live stream talking about life and pro -life and these different things in Washington all the while he stopped the bill that would have criminalized and ended it
- 02:21:30
- That's a heavy weight on his shoulders that he will answer for It's a hundred and ten thousand children that will be butchered in the state of Texas and we have to wait two more years before we can address it and put forth another bill of abolition.
- 02:21:49
- So we pray for his repentance but he is responsible and again as people are getting on to this live stream or they're hearing about this for the first time we are really criticizing the pro -life movement and we're doing a lot to expose the inconsistencies but it is ultimately the inconsistencies of the pro -life movement, the pro -life legislators that is ultimately keeping abortion from being ended and abolished and so a man like Leach is responsible in Texas He's the pro -life champion that stopped the bill to criminalize and end abortion.
- 02:22:32
- I know it seems tinfoil hat, it seems conspiracy theory, it seems like that's wild and it can't be the case but it is the case that the pro -life movement is keeping abortion alive
- 02:22:45
- Just to give you sort of a biblical narrative you know you think about the apostle
- 02:22:51
- Paul you know where he's starting his great missionary work and so he's blazing a trail, he's introducing the gospel of the kingdom into the world
- 02:23:04
- God is establishing his beach head, these local churches throughout his missionary journeys and who comes behind him to undo and destroy the work?
- 02:23:17
- The Judaizers The Judaizers right to get everybody back on the religious reservation right and so literally this is what we're seeing as we're moving throughout the land from city to city, state to state introducing this movement of abolition who are the ones following behind to make sure the legislators and make sure the magistrates get back on the pro -life reservation it is these pro -life organizations and so here's the problem guys see this is a cozy arrangement where everybody gets what they want right so the pro -life politician gets their vote, the pro -life and pro -family groups get money they take pictures together one provides cover for the other everybody gets what they want except the one who needs our help the most and that is that pre -born child and so I gotta tell ya this unholy alliance needs to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus and we gotta get back to God's program which honestly what we're seeking is three things states city, county states ignore all establish justice and abolish all abortion now that is the message that is the mission and the church of Jesus Christ we need to get back to God and fight this battle his way with his tools and his word that he has granted to us no more compromise no more regulating baby murder rise up and end it once and for all in Jesus name amen as a
- 02:26:01
- Christian church trying to equip other Christian churches globally to save lives at the abortion mill and to establish justice immediate justice for these pre -born children years ago when we started this ministry we told you that we were a
- 02:26:14
- Christian church that wanted to make this about the gospel we did not want to work with the pro -life industry who were trying to regulate the issue of abortion we wanted to establish justice to abolish this to criminalize it and to end it once and for all when we first started we told you that we wanted to raise churches up to equip them completely for free we wanted to educate them we wanted to provide for them all the resources to go out and to save lives at the abortion mill as of today over 615 local churches have signed up they have been equipped they have been trained they've gotten free resources we haven't taken anything from these churches we've wanted only to give to them and through your support we've been able to equip them and train them and give them all their resources to save lives completely for free over 615 churches countless lives have been saved at this point thousands upon thousands of lives are being saved and they continue to be saved on a regular basis because of what you did with us you gave to this church to equip these churches and now thousands of children are alive because of that we knew that we needed to create a media ministry that was a platform that could communicate consistently on this issue of abortion from a consistent
- 02:27:24
- Christian perspective that worked towards the end the criminalization and the abolition of abortion in our nation we knew that we needed to speak with the gospel demanding immediate justice to our legislators we started a movement across the country of Christians going to the legislature and demanding immediate justice that all has happened and now we've been able to work with Christians across the country who are working with their legislators to criminalize the issue of abortion right now in the state of Arizona we have a representative who is presenting a bill to criminalize not regulate to end the issue of abortion in the state of Arizona Roe v.
- 02:28:01
- Wade is a court opinion it does not have the force of law it is not a law and that is admitted now number one we don't know exactly what she would do the expectation is that she may very well move to overview overrule
- 02:28:18
- Roe the only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making
- 02:28:23
- Roe the law of the land that's what I would do we needed to educate believers that Roe v.
- 02:28:29
- Wade is a court opinion and states need to reject an unjust ruling by judges in the 1970's we knew that we needed to actually approach this consistently in a way that was different than the pro -life industry has where they're working towards regulation and not the ultimate criminalization of abortion they call mothers and fathers who have abortions victims themselves you'll never end abortion with that mindset with that world view the pro -life industry refuses to call abortion murder what
- 02:29:00
- Christians would call it we've wanted to raise churches up to actually equip them to focus on this issue as Christians not with neutrality but with the gospel demanding immediate justice we've been able to do that through your support over 615 local churches now out saving thousands of lives we have now established other media ministries we through your support have actually given numerous churches their own media kit where they're actually going to be able to produce their own content just like Apologia Studios we've given them high end cameras and recording equipment, sound equipment tripods, lenses so they can do what we're doing to broaden the reach of the voices of those within the
- 02:29:40
- Christian church who can speak to this issue with consistency as Christians for the end of abortion we've been able to raise up churches in Ireland Northern Ireland the
- 02:29:51
- Republic of Ireland and in Scotland who are speaking to this issue as Christians in Ireland in Australia, in New Zealand in Canada, God has made this movement global and it's happened because of your support with us
- 02:30:05
- I want to speak to you from the heart here we are not trying to create an industry, I long for the day when we shut all this down and don't ask for another penny to support these churches and to criminalize this issue, we are working as a
- 02:30:19
- Christian church to criminalize this and to establish justice and to save lives, you've helped us to do that and you've helped us to do it in a way where we've been no burden to the churches, we've just helped them, equipped them, you did that, you supported us, you prayed and right now we have legislators in Indiana South Carolina, Texas Oklahoma and in Arizona who are going to be putting in bills to criminalize abortion, to resist
- 02:30:47
- Roe vs Wade and to criminalize abortion at the state level, it's going to be happening here in Arizona, it's already being submitted and all that's happening because of the work of EndAbortionNow .com
- 02:31:01

- 02:32:21
- Christians to do what we've been able to do across the country now, Christians have been able to talk to their legislators and demand immediate justice just think about this, 10 years ago we weren't in a place that we are now, where we have legislators who are actually saying end it, it's over we're criminalizing this, we're abolishing it now we're here
- 02:32:43
- Christians have been working so faithfully in this area and you can partner with a ministry like Apologia through EndAbortionNow to raise up churches to bring the message of the gospel into conflict with abortion and to bring the message of immediate justice to legislatures across the country like this one it's happening in Arizona right now we have people all over the country now who are in this this is unprecedented in our time to see so many changes right on the line and I just want to reiterate again
- 02:33:17
- I am so looking forward to the day as a pastor where we never do another one of these videos except just to celebrate what
- 02:33:23
- God has done, we never ask for another penny, the pro -life industry is an industry, it's a business when you give this to the church the church can work with the gospel to end this issue and never ask for another penny brothers and sisters will you give, help us to match our donation so we can fund all the work for 2021 will you help us in this moment in time to work to the end of abortion as the
- 02:33:51
- Christian church, help us to work in such a way that we end this, we don't regulate it, we criminalize it and establish justice for our pre -born neighbors, now that's what's happening, so many churches, so many lives saved, now more media ministries than ours able to speak to this with good quality content with a consistent message and working with the legislators to criminalize this issue in our country, will you partner with a
- 02:34:18
- Christian church that makes this about the gospel that makes this about ending abortion once and for all we can celebrate together when we never ask for another penny from a

- to give towards the work of 2021 all of your giving goes towards raising up churches saving lives, creating media content and media ministries to speak to this issue and to training churches to actually end this at the legislature join us for 2021 brothers and sisters,
- 02:35:02
- I'd be so grateful if you did are you recording?
- 02:35:37
- let me know when you're going, we'll just wing it the very first thing that she said to us or said to me was
- 02:35:48
- I quit and I am willing to tell you whatever you want to know that's before any offer before any offer, that was before it took her several attempts to reach me because we're not friends and I didn't see the message come across and so she reiterated it and I thought well great we can at least meet and it'll give me an opportunity to find out where she's at and share the gospel with her so Kim and I took her out to lunch on Tuesday of last week and sat with her for like an hour and a half while she just told us details about what was happening and they were very helpful information for us to have but I knew
- 02:36:30
- Marcus was coming to town so I'm like this is providential maybe she'll agree to it
- 02:36:36
- I didn't really know that she would but she did agree to it we don't believe that she was saved or that she quit because she's against abortion but you and a group that you're with decided to help her out well
- 02:36:47
- I used to work at home women's health Fort Worth ended up leaving due to the fact that well there's a lot of reasons why but the straw that broke the camel's back was made me pick between my small child versus them is basically what it came down to and I chose child so they didn't win that battle they were increasing the hours they were becoming increasingly more before they were more
- 02:37:13
- I guess more accommodating would be the best word to use more accommodating to people's schedules and people that have kids versus the ones that didn't because they could do whatever they wanted to and it got to the point where the accommodations just stopped they wouldn't even listen to them just said no and it came down to well you can pick your kid or us so I'm like well kid wins but I got the impression from the interview that she did not quit out of an opposition to abortion
- 02:37:41
- I think she's been on the wire, on the line with it but I think in the interview it came out that she wasn't really opposed to it so I believe that she quit for practical reasons so with the increasing hours the reason behind that is more patience so they can fit in more people within their certain timeline because they were seeing so many people during one time well hey if we open up more slots we can see even more people and people that maybe have to go to work but they can't come in at like 4 o 'clock in the afternoon, 2 o 'clock in the afternoon, whatever it may be so if we open them up after 6 or 7 and we start seeing patients maybe about 7 .40,
- 02:38:21
- stop having them scheduled at 7 .40, 7 .30 then we can see more people and squeeze more people even in.
- 02:38:27
- She did share with us some information that I think would be helpful and one of the things that we don't know because we're never in there but she said that the people inside can hear every word that you're saying when you're preaching especially on the amplification.
- 02:38:40
- Depending on how depending on where someone was so if you were on the if you were facing the building, if you were on the left hand side of the building, we could hear you pretty well.
- 02:38:50
- That's very helpful when we're out there with an amplifier and we can say hey if you're there right now, you know you need to get out of there and we can speak more directly to that situation, very helpful.
- 02:39:02
- Are there women who are upset because they know they're killing their child? Do you think there's women in there that don't know it's a child?
- 02:39:11
- About a 50 -50 on that one. I think some of them maybe they're in denial maybe.
- 02:39:19
- Probably the best way to put it is denial about it. Then there's some in there that come in like they've been there several times and they know exactly what they're doing.
- 02:39:32
- They know exactly what's going on and they're like okay just get it done. I don't care. I was always on the fence with it.
- 02:39:41
- I think I reconciled it a little bit because I didn't actually go in the room rooms when they were doing anything.
- 02:39:46
- I think that's kind of how I played it out in my head because I was either working in the front office doing paperwork like I'm just looking at a bunch of paper all day or I'm just taking some vitals here and there or doing this and maybe drawing some blood.
- 02:39:59
- Other than that I wasn't having anything really inadvertently with it. What I thought was interesting too is that they insulate the staff from that.
- 02:40:08
- There's only very few people who get to see the gruesome part of it and I think that's to insulate them for what they're actually doing.
- 02:40:15
- Although they know it but I think it makes it even more real to them when they see that. What you're bringing to light here is that they're not treating the patients badly they're treating their own staff badly.
- 02:40:25
- They're just trying to get people in and out as quickly as possible. It's all money.
- 02:40:31
- Yeah because if they can get them in and out especially then they also push the surgical. They push that one more.
- 02:40:38
- Yeah to make more money. Well it's not even that they make more money especially when they're say someone's seven weeks.
- 02:40:46
- They're not going to make more money off someone doing surgical versus the medication because they're the same price.
- 02:40:52
- They're the exact same price. So no matter which way you flipped it they're the exact same. They push the surgical because apparently there's like a quota he has to meet for the surgical themselves.
- 02:41:04
- Not so much the medication but for the surgical. I'm not sure why. I never was told why.
- 02:41:09
- I just was told that we really need to push surgicals or whatever because Well that would be that's where I would wonder about the whole selling stuff.
- 02:41:23
- They take it to the bathroom. There's a dirty path and a clean path. So she takes the jar and dumps it into that little like a little colander.
- 02:41:33
- It's like one of those things you kind of like almost like pull out of something from a deep fryer. The best way I can describe it.
- 02:41:39
- It's kind of like that metal wiry mesh kind of deal. And then they rinse it out and then
- 02:41:45
- I know that from there they end up dumping it onto a light table that you use for drawing. And then they put it on there to make sure.
- 02:41:51
- And sometimes the doctor would actually ask to verify I'm not sure exactly
- 02:41:56
- To verify they got everything. Yeah. He would come in like Okay I guess he had like a little once over Okay and then from there
- 02:42:04
- I know they would put it in a biohazard bag. I've seen the biohazard bag. And then put it in the freezer.
- 02:42:11
- And then it sits in the freezer until whoever it is that comes to pick it up. And one time that freezer actually went out.
- 02:42:20
- And that was horrible. We ended up having to buy a new freezer and have it sent in like she literally went to like Costco or something and bought like another small.
- 02:42:30
- Cause it's not very big. It's about yay wide freezer and about about as tall as the table. So it's not a very large freezer they keep in there.
- 02:42:40
- When it goes out obviously it stinks in there. Yeah. Yeah whenever you would open that dirty path door it was bad.
- 02:42:47
- It was really really bad. Just the door to the room. Yeah. Cause that room was sealed pretty well in the first place.
- 02:42:55
- So you only got smelt it whenever someone had to open that door. I can just imagine that you know the feeling inside that these babies that they had murdered were going to start to stink.
- 02:43:08
- That there was a bit of a panic for them to get another freezer. I thought that was really telling of what goes on there. Very telling.
- 02:43:14
- It's the reality of bloodshed and murder. It's the evidence.
- 02:43:20
- Based on what she was saying it really kind of matches up with the David Daleiden videos that keeping those remains in the freezer what other purpose would there be for the quotas right?
- 02:43:35
- It's horrific right? I mean imagine you're trying to make sure you've got all the pieces of a dead baby.
- 02:43:43
- New at noon an important appeals court ruling on the Texas law requiring doctors to perform abortions to show sonograms to patients.
- 02:43:52
- Now federal appeals court in New Orleans says that Texas can enforce the law.
- 02:43:57
- With the sonogram? They only show them if they ask.
- 02:44:04
- So if they ask then they show. I had a couple of patients that came in and they asked me can I see it?
- 02:44:09
- I'm like yeah that's fine you can see it. No one's going to stop you from seeing it. If you want to see it just tell them
- 02:44:15
- I'll tell her in the hallway make sure that she's aware that you already want to see it. I would do that at least.
- 02:44:22
- I know other people probably wouldn't have done it but I would be like okay well hey this patient in room one wants to be able to see the sonogram.
- 02:44:28
- Just heads up. And they're like oh okay. But if anyone tells them beforehand or they don't tell them they won't show it.
- 02:44:38
- Well the fetal dopplers since are sonogram machines don't do anything with that because they're old.
- 02:44:45
- One's a little newer one's a little older but they don't have that capability of like sound. So they don't have that sound capability.
- 02:44:53
- And I don't know if that was by coincidence or what. But the fetal so they have to have since the sonogram machines don't do that they have to have the fetal dopplers in each room that they have procedures in order to if say that they want to hear the heartbeat they'll be able to hear a heartbeat.
- 02:45:10
- I've never they're still in the box as far as last time I checked because I have never seen anyone busted out of the box.
- 02:45:18
- Like brand spanking new. Like brand new still in the box. I think it still has like the paper stuff like wrapped around it.
- 02:45:28
- Well what you're seeing there in that interview is what we said in Babies Are Still Murdered here that the industry, the abortion industry can they don't have to follow these pro -life regulations.
- 02:45:40
- There's loopholes and this is just proof of what we were talking about there that these pro -life regulations will not they're unenforceable completely unenforceable they do what they want with those loopholes to fit what they're trying to do make money.
- 02:46:00
- And again there's no one that's really standing over his shoulder making sure the Texas state law regarding Well that's who's supposed to be doing it is the clinic manager but I don't know she's gone doing whatever so So she's normally not doing that Yeah she's normally either running around like a chicken with her head cut off or she's not even there or she's just hanging out in her office talking to one of the other managers and yeah
- 02:46:27
- So that's not happening from the office manager standpoint. Oh yeah So yeah okay
- 02:46:33
- Even though these types of clinics are the enemy, I mean we as Christians have to be fair to them.
- 02:46:39
- This was one woman. One woman. We didn't have corroborating testimony from her We believe that she has no reason to lie and what she says might not have been accurate.
- 02:46:48
- I mean I trust what she said but we have to keep in mind that this is uncorroborated testimony and we have to give them that benefit as Christians even though they are the enemy.
- 02:46:56
- A few months ago I remember women coming out of the clinic limping really dramatically.
- 02:47:02
- It looked like probably they had a torn uterus a bit from just having been out in front of clinics for a long time just observing and knowing what happens
- 02:47:12
- So do you know of that happening often there?
- 02:47:18
- No It's only happened once and like the one time since I was there.
- 02:47:24
- And that was because a patient was not listening and they were trying to like, you need to be still you know, we don't want to do anything to hurt you.
- 02:47:31
- We need you to be still because there's something sharp and stuff like that. You've got to be still. And she just kept wiggling and everything and he's like, well
- 02:47:41
- I think I just ruptured her uterus because she just wiggled. Like she literally turned one way and then flipped again really fast and so he's like, well okay.
- 02:47:51
- I think that just happened because she won't be still. But the funny thing about that is they only have to I guess file a report of some kind if he knows for a fact he did it but if he suspects he did it, they don't have to file a report.
- 02:48:12
- So on that one they suspected he said I suspect I did because the way she was moving and the way she started bleeding,
- 02:48:19
- I suspect that I might have so and then you know, call an ambulance and all that, get her out of there, go get her looked at.
- 02:48:25
- But then he doesn't have to file a report. Yeah, as long as he suspects. Unless he knows then they have to file a report.
- 02:48:30
- But if he says he suspects it, then they don't have to. So there's a loophole built into them so they can dodge it.
- 02:48:37
- Pretty much. Another loophole. Okay. One thing that struck me with interviewing
- 02:48:42
- Amanda as well is that if it's not a gospel proclamation I mean, we're thrilled that she quit her job but if she doesn't repent and put her trust in Jesus Christ, she is no closer to heaven for quitting her job.
- 02:48:52
- So our goal is not to get women to quit their jobs. It's not to get women to stop killing their babies.
- 02:48:57
- Ultimately we want that but we want it because we want them to be saved. Because if they don't kill their baby for pragmatic or practical reasons or they quit for practical reasons, they're still going to hell.
- 02:49:07
- Right. So that's why you as well believe that we go to the clinics to share the gospel with them because it's a target rich environment of unbelievers.
- 02:49:14
- Right. Because I don't believe a true believer would go there and kill their child. Yeah. All we will do from here on out is just continue to minister to her needs and continue to present the gospel to her.
- 02:49:31
- My experience before I came to Christ, I was a pastor for about 12 years and when
- 02:49:37
- I realized I wasn't even saved I was pastoring, I was preaching every Sunday doing all that and then
- 02:49:42
- God revealed through his word that I was a hypocrite because I was doing one thing, saying one thing and doing completely different and so my concern about anyone that's there and obviously
- 02:50:00
- I'm including you, I'm going to be direct would be that do you really know Christ? Knowing him changes us to a degree that we wouldn't even want to be a part of it.
- 02:50:11
- And I understand coming out of college you're looking for work and it's the job that opened up. It was literally boom, boom.
- 02:50:19
- I got done with medical assisting school in February I was there in March.
- 02:50:25
- It was just boom, boom. The thing I encourage everybody in the
- 02:50:30
- Bible Belt, two questions. Number one, what is the gospel? What's the content of the message?
- 02:50:36
- Well obviously Christ died for sinners, he rose from the dead our sins can be forgiven if we repent and place our faith in him.
- 02:50:44
- But then the second question I think is more important, is what difference does that message make in our lives?
- 02:50:50
- If there's no difference between us and what is going on in the life of an unbeliever, maybe an atheist or whatever then we have reason to be concerned.
- 02:51:02
- And so I say that to you out of concern for you that you know Christ and that ultimately one day you're in his presence apart from all the garbage we face in this life.
- 02:51:17
- And so our desire is hopefully one day God will you know,
- 02:51:23
- I don't know your heart, only God knows people's hearts but if you haven't trusted
- 02:51:30
- Christ that's our desire to see that happen. We can't make that happen. We don't do that whole walk the aisle, pray the prayer thing.
- 02:51:37
- We believe if God's going to do something, he'll do it. So that's how we leave that. But yeah, and you know
- 02:51:44
- I know that we're, I've expressed this to you before, but we're available for whatever you need.
- 02:51:49
- As you're looking for a job, we'll help you do that. Try to help out where we can.
- 02:53:23
- When we had these people coming in all the time like literally they were here in February and the next thing you know like that name looks familiar.
- 02:53:31
- Why does that name look familiar? And then all of a sudden you see it like wait, oh that's why it looks familiar. She was here in February and now she's back in April.
- 02:53:39
- And then okay she was here and then all of a sudden you see the same name again. Like what is this? And then like it's
- 02:53:45
- June and she's back again. It's like do you not understand what's happening here? Yeah, once they're in path they take the, so she takes the jar and dumps it into that little, like a little, is that really like a colander?
- 02:54:33
- It's like one of those things you kind of like almost like pull out of something from a deep fryer. And the best way
- 02:54:38
- I can describe it is kind of like that metal wiring mesh kind of deal. And then they rinse it out and then
- 02:54:46
- I know that from there they end up dumping it onto a light table that you'd use for drawing. Have the two like small, like I guess there'd be like a, best way to describe it, a casserole dish.
- 02:54:57
- Like clear casserole dishes, like really small ones. And then they put it on there to make sure. And sometimes the doctor would actually ask to verify it was really sporadic if he did.
- 02:55:09
- It was like here, there, just I guess sometimes if he wasn't sure. I'm not sure exactly.
- 02:55:15
- To verify they got everything. Yeah. He would come in like, okay I guess he had like a little once over.
- 02:55:21
- Okay, and then from there, I know they'd put it in a biohazard bag of something, because I've seen the biohazard bag.
- 02:55:27
- And then put it in the freezer. And then it sits in the freezer until whoever it is that comes to pick it up.
- 02:55:35
- Thank you, thank you, thank you. How are you guys? Good to see everybody.
- 02:55:41
- Praise God. Thank you for having me. I'm just going to read a scripture for you real fast. If you would just take a moment to pay close attention to this.
- 02:55:52
- Proverbs 24 verse 11. Here's what it says. Rescue those who are being taken away to death.
- 02:56:00
- Hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, behold we did not know this.
- 02:56:07
- Does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it?
- 02:56:15
- And will he not repay man according to his work? That's a powerful text of scripture.
- 02:56:21
- And if you heard it, you heard that's you. And that's me.
- 02:56:28
- Rescue those who are being led away to the slaughter, being taken away to death. And the answer from scripture, from the
- 02:56:34
- God of this scripture, the God that established this nation, is that if you say, we didn't know.
- 02:56:42
- We didn't know. It says, doesn't he who weighs the hearts know it? Doesn't he know that we know?
- 02:56:49
- And will he not repay man according to his deeds? It's a powerful text of scripture.
- 02:56:55
- It's a challenging text of scripture that challenged us. I'm a pastor of a church in Phoenix. It challenged us about a decade ago.
- 02:57:03
- Of course we were Christian. Of course we were pro -life. Of course we thought the pro -life industry was doing their duty to end abortion in our nation.
- 02:57:11
- And we learned that they're not. Their focus is regulation, not abolition.
- 02:57:17
- It's regulation and not criminalization. They profess themselves that they are not
- 02:57:23
- Christian institutions. They are not standing on scripture. And we learned very early on that if we're going to end this, we need to end it with courage as Christians first and foremost.
- 02:57:34
- First and foremost. Have you all noticed? I'm sure you've noticed lately. None of us can deny this now.
- 02:57:40
- Have you noticed lately that the radical left, those who would be self -professed unbelievers, do not want to compromise on their positions?
- 02:57:50
- They say, this is our position. This is what we're fighting for. This is what we're doing. And have you noticed that conservatives, those who profess to be followers of Christ even, are the ones who are always compromising.
- 02:58:04
- The ones who will not exhibit courage. Courage enough to believe this. If you are not with me, you are against me.
- 02:58:11
- Those are the words of Jesus. If you're not with me, you are against me. I want to encourage you guys to think about something for a moment.
- 02:58:20
- This man over here, Walt Blackman, he's not just a good man, a strong man, a courageous man.
- 02:58:26
- I want you to know this and you're going to be seeing this a lot in our state over the next couple of months. This man is the hero of the children in Arizona.
- 02:58:36
- And I want to explain to you why. Many of you may not even know this. It hasn't become fully public yet, completely so that everyone can know about it.
- 02:58:45
- Right now in Arizona, please hear this, this is massive. It is earth -shattering and it is mind -altering.
- 02:58:51
- Trust me. In Arizona it's never been changed. AZ Statute 13 -3603
- 02:58:58
- AZ Statute 13 -3603 makes abortion a criminal act in Arizona.
- 02:59:06
- It has never been changed. This man, this man, the hero of the children in Arizona, is going to point to that statute and establish that law so that abortion is not regulated in Arizona.
- 02:59:21
- It is a criminal act. Abortion is murder. We are human from conception.
- 02:59:32
- Listen closely. You win this argument. There is no way to surmount this argument and outdo it, overcome it.
- 02:59:41
- Number one, biblically speaking, God says that he's the creator of life. He knits us together in our mother's womb.
- 02:59:48
- We are human beings, image of God from conception that cannot be disputed. Number two, biologically speaking it is a matter of scientific fact that from the moment of conception, the moment of conception, you are human from that very moment.
- 03:00:04
- The only difference from that moment to where you are now is a difference of degree, size, level of development, environment, and degree of dependence.
- 03:00:14
- All this talk about black lives matter, I want to know if the black lives in the womb matter.
- 03:00:23
- Because the black community is the community most in danger from extermination via abortion.
- 03:00:33
- We have about 3 ,000 human beings exterminated, murdered.
- 03:00:38
- Listen, I know we're trying to have a good time and a good rally here, but I've got to be honest and courageous enough to tell the truth.
- 03:00:45
- Every day in our nation, in our streets, in our neighborhoods, every single day, 3 ,000, about 3 ,000 human beings lose their lives.
- 03:00:54
- They have their heads cut off, their arms taken off their bodies, their legs taken off their bodies, and they are disemboweled every single day.
- 03:01:06
- And I want to grant something as a minister of the gospel. That is not something any of us can fully comprehend.
- 03:01:13
- All we can do is think about it one baby at a time. So we started going out as a church many years ago with the gospel of Jesus Christ first and foremost to the abortion mills.
- 03:01:24
- We said, number one, mom and dad, please don't murder your child. Number two, there is hope in Christ, forgiveness in Christ.
- 03:01:31
- And number three, we will help you. We will pay for everything. We'll even adopt your child.
- 03:01:37
- Because of that work, we've raised up 500 churches globally doing the same. And as of today, thousands and thousands and thousands of children are alive today because of that work.
- 03:01:52
- I have a son who is eight months old. He's adopted.
- 03:01:58
- He was going to be exterminated and aborted. We have children who are at my church.
- 03:02:03
- They show up before the pulpit running around circles in front. Olivia Grace and Cara, twin girls saved from Tempe's planned parenthood because Christians went out with the gospel of Jesus Christ and offered to help and called it what it is.
- 03:02:17
- This is murder, and we won't tolerate it anymore. And so what I want to ask of you is this, is to consider this.
- 03:02:24
- What's happening in our country is very simply this. It is a collision of world views.
- 03:02:31
- It is the world and life view of those who stand on this revelation as the truth of the living God. This is the objective standard and those who deny it.
- 03:02:40
- Did you know that this nation, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the reason that is so meaningful and brought so much peace and freedom and justice is because the principles behind all those things come directly from this book.
- 03:02:54
- This book. The people who established this nation, the
- 03:02:59
- Huguenots, the pilgrims, the Puritans, the Christians who came over and established this nation.
- 03:03:05
- Did you know this? Did you know this? In the colonies, they named the Triune God of the
- 03:03:11
- Holy Scriptures as the God over their state. When they would make treaties with other nations, they would make that treaty in the name of the
- 03:03:19
- Triune God of the Holy Scriptures. They knew that this book is the standard of all truth.
- 03:03:26
- And did you know that John Jay, the first Supreme Court justice, when he was creating the case law system of our nation, our first Supreme Court justice, he would name directly the verses from which he was establishing the law on this nation.
- 03:03:40
- If you want to know where we've gone, you need to look at how far we've departed from this revelation. And I want to encourage you, if you're someone who professes faith in Jesus Christ, you call this the truth.
- 03:03:52
- Stand on this truth. Be courageous. And please hear me on this. Over the next few months, we're going to need you.
- 03:03:59
- We're going to need you because when... Where'd he go? When the hero of Arizona's children calls abortion what it is, murder, and says it will no longer be tolerated and we're going to criminalize this, there's going to be two things coming at Walt.
- 03:04:14
- You need to know what it is. Number one, the pro -choicers, the pro -aborts, the people who say we should be able to murder our children in the womb.
- 03:04:22
- And, please hear me on this, and please be gracious enough and humble enough to hear me, because I am not the enemy.
- 03:04:30
- The pro -life industry that does not want to criminalize it, does not want to call it murder, that wants to regulate it, they will also come against Walt, trying to stop what he's doing.
- 03:04:42
- I've seen it in another state, Oklahoma. In Oklahoma, there was a senator named Joseph Silk, who put a bill to criminalize abortion immediately.
- 03:04:51
- Do you know who the opposition was? The pro -life industry. They stopped it. So, if you want to give money to somebody, to help them stop abortion in this state, give it to Walt Blackman.
- 03:05:04
- If you want to give money, give it to the Christian churches who are ending abortion, not regulating it.
- 03:05:12
- And if you want peace and righteousness and justice and freedom to prevail in this country, it isn't going to be through mere political commitments.
- 03:05:20
- It's only going to be because of what Christians said in the past to establish this nation. Are you ready for it?
- 03:05:26
- And I'm almost done. This is, by the way, a miracle you're seeing right now. They told me I had five minutes. That's only about an hour less than I usually go.
- 03:05:34
- Here's the answer to the hope of this nation. No king but Christ. That's the answer.
- 03:05:43
- The gospel is the answer. The problem we see with the rioting and looting and sin in our streets is just that, sin.
- 03:05:51
- The answer to our problem of sin is peace with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus is
- 03:05:56
- God in the flesh, lived perfectly, died for sinners and rose again from the dead. The only hope of anybody in this world is through faith in Him.
- 03:06:04
- The call of the gospel is to repent and believe the gospel. Come to Christ for life. Join us as we criminalize the injustice of abortion in this state.
- 03:06:13
- Be courageous. No compromise. This is murder and it's ending in our state.
- 03:06:18
- Thank you. How you doing today?
- 03:06:31
- Good, good. Awesome. My name's
- 03:06:36
- James. Harvey? Yes, sir. Nice to meet you.
- 03:06:41
- Yes, sir. I got a gift for you. That's for the mom. Just to let y 'all know that we will adopt.
- 03:06:48
- We will do whatever it takes to bring that child to full term, okay? It's not even me, it's her.
- 03:06:54
- She don't want the baby. I totally understand. We hear that a lot, but if we take all the options off the table, all the problems off the table, you know, and we sit down and talk for a little bit, it's a matter of life and death for that child, you know what
- 03:07:07
- I mean? I know. The Bible says that that's a baby, that God knits that baby together in the womb.
- 03:07:13
- So at the point of conception, that's a child. So what we will do is we have people right here, we have people in our church that will adopt that can't have children, and they want children, and they will adopt the child.
- 03:07:28
- So whatever it takes. And then halfway through, she says, okay, I want to keep the baby. We have resources.
- 03:07:35
- They'll pay for that child. There she is. They'll pay for that child for the first three years of its life. Thank you.
- 03:07:40
- Y 'all have a blessed day. We went home, and that Bible, that he gave me, and that Bible was in the car.
- 03:08:22
- When I looked at it, she looked at it, I knew it was touching her, like, her thoughts, she said, no,
- 03:08:27
- I don't want it. To make a long story short, she came back for a procedure. She went back there, and she walked out.
- 03:08:34
- She said I couldn't do it. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Lord. She said she couldn't do it.
- 03:08:40
- We were soon to go back to work. She went back to work, I went back to work. She fainted. She fainted?
- 03:08:46
- She fainted at work. The rest of the hospital, the doctor told her, she's having twins. Praise the
- 03:08:54
- Lord. It wasn't never one, it was two. So, I thank
- 03:09:01
- God. Yeah, man. When I see James standing here, I had to do a
- 03:09:06
- U -turn, I had to thank him, because I didn't want to do abortion. But it's up to the females. Yeah, that's a lie that they tell you.
- 03:09:15
- A man can put it in place for her to have one, but it's up to her. Yeah, society is so messed up, isn't it?
- 03:09:24
- It's your child, man, those are your children. I even said, just give them to me. She's like, no.
- 03:09:32
- But, in the world, it's people like you guys that have the sanity. The young people, and even an adult that's raising the young people, they're manipulating them into a different type of thinking.
- 03:09:46
- I praise God for you standing here. Like I told you, James, you're not standing here for no reason. I had to do a
- 03:09:52
- U -turn, this cop probably seen me do a U -turn, but I had to stop. I had to stop, because I've seen a lot of people the other day, but I didn't see
- 03:09:57
- James. I wanted to talk to James, particularly, just to thank you, and tell you, man, you're not standing here for no reason.
- 03:10:05
- Right in front of this place, I was in there, and it was like 15 women. And as I looked up, I'm like, it's 15 slaughters about to go on.
- 03:10:12
- Yeah, man. Butchers, right? You're charging us $400 for a day. 4, 8, 16, 21, you're getting rich off murders.
- 03:10:22
- I don't want no part of it, but I just thank you guys. I'm happy to say I'm about to have twins.
- 03:10:36
- Hey everybody, this is Zach. I'm one of the elders from Apology of Church, and we just want to say, hey, from hot and muggy
- 03:10:43
- Phoenix, Arizona, right now, we hope you're all doing well. We just want to say thank you so much for letting us be a part of this event.
- 03:10:51
- We're humbled. We're honored. I love OSA. I think I've known Rusty for a couple years now, but we love you, and I know many of you have fought in this battled -in child murder for decades, and so it makes us very humbled and very honored at the same time to be able to address you tonight.
- 03:11:10
- I'm the lead -off batter, and right after me, Pastor Luke, and then after him, Pastor Jeff is going to speak, but we hope that what we have to share with you tonight is going to be challenging, a challenging encouragement to you.
- 03:11:22
- That's what we're praying would happen. Just to fill you in a little bit on what's going on here in Phoenix, on Tuesday, Rusty talked about the fact that every church needs to have a ministry at the abortion mill.
- 03:11:35
- We need to be salt and light. We need to be the people of God at the abortion mill, trying to rescue babies, bringing the gospel in confrontation with the culture of death.
- 03:11:46
- He also said that we need to have a ministry to our magistrates. We need to inform them.
- 03:11:51
- We need to have a politically -minded ministry to be politically effective. So that's exactly what we're trying to accomplish here in Arizona, kind of day in, day out.
- 03:12:00
- If you're not aware, we have an organization called End Abortion Now. It consists of about 500 different churches, and it's all about, and under the banner of the local church, what we try to do with this ministry is equip and help the local church get out there, preach the gospel, love their pre -born neighbor, and because of that,
- 03:12:19
- God has done some amazing stuff. We've seen many, many, many, many babies saved. So that's kind of the prophetic arm, the gospel centered arm of our ministry,
- 03:12:29
- End Abortion Now. We just started an organization called Red State Reform, and that's basically a political lobbying organization to work to end abortion in Arizona.
- 03:12:40
- That's what we want to accomplish. So, during Arizona's next legislative session,
- 03:12:45
- Representative Walt Blackman is going to introduce a no -compromise bill of abolition that would immediately abolish all abortion in Arizona.
- 03:12:55
- So, what we're going to do is we're going to help politicians who will support this bill, and we're going to try to remove politicians who won't.
- 03:13:03
- So that's us, that's what we're doing, and that's what we're hoping for God, and praying that He would help us accomplish these ends.
- 03:13:12
- So I'm going to go ahead and pray. I know we're limited on time, so I'm going to pray and move quickly so the other guys can follow after me.
- 03:13:19
- Father, I thank You for this opportunity to speak to these people. Lord, I am unworthy to do it.
- 03:13:24
- I thank You for Rusty and all the leadership of OSA and all of the sacrifice, all of the time.
- 03:13:31
- Lord, all the years, all the blood, sweat that they've poured into serving
- 03:13:36
- You, all for Your glory. Lord, I thank You that You've given them strength to continue on, and I pray that You continue to bless this ministry.
- 03:13:43
- Bless this night as we share Your Word. Again, it's not for our namesake. It's not for the elevation or the promotion of any man.
- 03:13:50
- It's all for You, Christ. So I pray that You bless our minds, and You bless our hearts as we hear this tonight.
- 03:13:58
- Exodus chapter 22, 22 says this, You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.
- 03:14:05
- Deuteronomy 24, 17 says, You shall not pervert justice due to the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow's garment as a pledge.
- 03:14:15
- Deuteronomy 27, 19 says, Cursed is the one who perverts the justice due to the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and all the people shall say
- 03:14:25
- Amen. And here's the big command that I think coincides with really what God has been saying within this conference.
- 03:14:32
- Psalm 82, 3, Defend the poor and fatherless. Do justice to the afflicted and the needy.
- 03:14:40
- And I think we all know that babies being butchered daily at abortion mills are the fatherless children among us, as well as other segments of society, but they are the most needy segment that needs our attention.
- 03:14:54
- So what I want to do within the next couple minutes just to kind of set the tone before the other guys come and speak, is to kind of dissect this statement a little bit.
- 03:15:03
- The statement goes like this, Defending the fatherless will never be accomplished by cowards.
- 03:15:10
- It takes true men to accomplish the command. And of course, women for that matter, but tonight
- 03:15:16
- I kind of want to laser focus in on men and young men. I'm going to say it again. Defending the fatherless, which is synonymous with rescuing pre -born babies from death and abolishing abortion will never be accomplished by cowards.
- 03:15:32
- It will take true men to accomplish this task that the Lord has given us. One of my favorite quotes, it says this,
- 03:15:40
- True men do not work to legalize, or did not work to legalize abortion, but true men will end it.
- 03:15:46
- Again, true men did not work to legalize abortion, but true men will end it.
- 03:15:52
- Pastor Jason Storm said that. They were males who unleashed this scourge upon the earth, but they were not true men.
- 03:16:01
- They were cowards. And if you do just a cursory study of history, especially church history, you'll see that God when he tramples underfoot his enemies, which of course child murder is his enemy, he uses his men to accomplish this.
- 03:16:19
- He uses his men, and he will use his men to accomplish this abominable holocaust.
- 03:16:25
- It's going to happen. It's just a matter of time, prayer, effort, obedience, and sacrifice.
- 03:16:33
- It will happen. I wish we would see it tomorrow, believe me. Everybody who goes out to the abortion mill clinics day after day and week after week, you get to a point where you get sick of what's been going on.
- 03:16:45
- But thank God we can find our rest. We can find our hope in the fact that he will destroy this enemy.
- 03:16:51
- It's only a matter of time, prayer, effort, obedience, and sacrifice. This is pretty important here.
- 03:16:57
- God never ever uses cowards to defeat his enemies. It's just not the way he works.
- 03:17:02
- It's not the way he's ever worked. He will never ever use cowardly men to do this.
- 03:17:08
- If God's men at any point in history choose cowardice, and fail to repent, the fatherless and every other oppressed people group will continue to be oppressed.
- 03:17:19
- That is what has happened in history, and that's what will continue to happen. Cowardice only augments the oppression of people who are being oppressed.
- 03:17:29
- If we are to go about the task of defending the fatherless, we've got to repent of cowardice.
- 03:17:36
- God's men have to repent of cowardice, and we have to bear the fruit of this repentance by simply being the men that God commands us to be.
- 03:17:46
- If cowardice augments or enlarges oppression, then courage will defeat it.
- 03:17:54
- Courageous godly men are going to defeat it. I've only got a couple minutes here, so the remaining amount of time that I have,
- 03:18:03
- I just want to unpack or dissect this. Putting off cowardice and putting on true manhood.
- 03:18:10
- We have to put off cowardice and put on true manhood. 1 Kings 2 .2 says this,
- 03:18:15
- Be strong therefore and show yourself a man. Be strong therefore and show yourself a man.
- 03:18:24
- God commands we put off any and all cowardice and put on true manhood. So I guess the question is this, what is cowardice?
- 03:18:33
- The simple biblical definition is that cowardice is the opposite of true biblical manhood or cowards are the opposite of how
- 03:18:43
- God designed men to be upon his planet. A coward is everything that a true man isn't.
- 03:18:51
- I kind of learned this back in 8th grade. I went to a school in San Diego called Parkway Middle School and I was in physical education time and I was in the locker room and there was the quintessential bully of the school.
- 03:19:05
- His name was Romero. He would just victimize kids all the time every day. He just picked somebody else to victimize.
- 03:19:13
- This day in the boys' locker room was my day to be victimized. I'm over 40 now so I can't remember anything but I can remember this guy's face in my face.
- 03:19:25
- He was spitting and he was challenging me to a fight. It's clear as day
- 03:19:30
- I can see his face. I can see the folks right in front of me. He was saying let's go, let's fight.
- 03:19:36
- What I did at that moment is I put my head down and I said I didn't want to fight.
- 03:19:42
- At that moment I played the coward. I can tell you I don't know if you've ever experienced this but I was immediately engulfed with shame.
- 03:19:53
- Just down to my bones. Shame down to the level of the deepest part of me.
- 03:19:59
- All the men just walked out and shook their heads. I kind of experienced this quote right here.
- 03:20:05
- It says, A coward dies a thousand deaths. The valiant face death but once.
- 03:20:11
- That just rang so true to me, especially in that moment in eighth grade because I felt like dying.
- 03:20:17
- I felt like going and crawling up underneath a rock. But looking back now, I know the Lord was teaching me some important truths.
- 03:20:23
- Number one, choosing cowardice at any time of life, under any circumstance, it's the opposite of what a true man does.
- 03:20:32
- It's the opposite. Two, true men confront oppressors and oppressive bullies and they don't allow them to hurt people.
- 03:20:40
- And number three, I was not to back down in the face of an oppressor as he went about victimizing people.
- 03:20:47
- Painful lesson that I was taught at that moment but I think hugely important and definitely set the tone of the rest of my life.
- 03:20:54
- This bully, Romero, he just ended up, which a lot of bullies do, he ended up barking up the wrong tree to some older guys who were a lot much bigger than him.
- 03:21:02
- I think he got a couple of his teeth knocked out. And what I did from that moment is I confronted every single bully that came my way because I had gone through such a shameful experience.
- 03:21:12
- And what you learn is that as you confront an oppressor, you confront a bully, they will back down because bullies are cowards.
- 03:21:20
- I did talk to Romero a couple years later and confronted him. I think I wasn't too nice.
- 03:21:26
- I actually challenged him to a fight. But he got his butt beat so many times by so many different men.
- 03:21:31
- It humbled him. And he actually asked for forgiveness. We became friends after that. And I think the hope lies in the fact that a coward doesn't have to remain a coward.
- 03:21:41
- There is true repentance and true change. So again, a coward is the opposite of what it means to be a true man.
- 03:21:49
- Cowardice is antithetical to biblical manhood. A coward lacks bravery and courage.
- 03:21:56
- The coward chooses the couch over the cross, being comfortable over duty to Christ and self -denial.
- 03:22:03
- The coward takes the path of least resistance. The coward turns his head away when his neighbor is in need.
- 03:22:11
- The coward lives by the us -for -and -no -more mentality while the world goes to hell and his neighbors suffer.
- 03:22:17
- And that's a great problem we have, especially in America. It's, I'm really only going to focus on my family and everything that's going on around me can pretty much continue because that's my primary duty.
- 03:22:27
- Yeah, the family is your primary duty, but that's not to the exclusion of our duty to love our neighbor and lay down our lives for those who are in need.
- 03:22:35
- The coward twists scripture in order to alleviate himself of his God -given duties. The coward's mantra is, sinners are going to sin.
- 03:22:44
- Let's just preach the gospel. The coward allows bullies and enemy oppressors to have their way without standing nose -to -nose and contesting and confronting them.
- 03:22:53
- The coward is selfish, self -serving, self -preserving, disobedient, and unfaithful.
- 03:23:00
- That's who they are. Why are men cowards? I think, number one, we learned it from our Father Adam. He failed to protect his wife from the oppressor in the garden.
- 03:23:08
- He failed to take responsibility of his actions and blamed his God for his own decisions.
- 03:23:14
- He blamed his wife and his God. And, of course, our sinful flesh has a disposition towards cowardice rather than courage.
- 03:23:21
- So we learned it from Adam, just being in Adam. Number two, we learned it from our fathers. Just as you look through the kings, the bad kings learned it from the bad kings.
- 03:23:31
- The bad kings learned it from their dads. So we learned how to be cowards from our dads and the primary male examples in our lives.
- 03:23:38
- And it's just this vicious circle that continues on and on. Cowards give birth to cowards, show them how to be cowards.
- 03:23:45
- They grow up to be cowards and give birth to cowards. It's got to stop. So we learned it from Adam.
- 03:23:50
- We learned it from our fathers, our primary male influences. And we also learned it from our pastors as well.
- 03:23:57
- The problem really lies primarily in the pulpit. When a pastor fails to contest and battle against God's enemies, it makes cowards of men under His charge.
- 03:24:12
- Ultimately, the destination for an unrepentant coward is right here in Revelation 21a.
- 03:24:18
- It says, But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
- 03:24:32
- And just my thoughts as I've been thinking and studying through the Scriptures, maybe it's because the coward is everything a true man isn't that he heads that list.
- 03:24:43
- Maybe because cowardice, it really epitomizes the corruption and the distortion of God's image in man.
- 03:24:52
- So, we're to put off cowardice and put on true manhood. So I guess the next question is this, what is true manhood?
- 03:24:59
- Simply, and I think biblically, a true man is a courageous man. A biblical man will be defined by his courage.
- 03:25:08
- Courage really, it's the essence of manhood. Or maybe manhood 101 where we start off as being men is courage.
- 03:25:16
- As being courageous men. 1 Corinthians 16 -13 says this, Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, and be strong.
- 03:25:27
- And that term right there, kind of couched within those phrases, act like men, it's a
- 03:25:32
- Greek phrase and it's only found in the New Testament in this instance. And it just simply means this, to conduct yourself with courage.
- 03:25:42
- So when it's saying right there, when Paul is saying, act like a man, he's saying being courageous.
- 03:25:47
- Biblical manhood is synonymous with courageous manhood. Or maybe say it this way a little bit, you can't exemplify true manhood apart from courage.
- 03:25:59
- The next question follows, what is courage? What is courage biblically? Courage, just whittled down to its simplest explanation, is simple faithfulness and obedience to God's commands.
- 03:26:13
- That's what it means to be a courageous man. Courageous men, we have such a distorted perception of what a courageous man is.
- 03:26:20
- I think it's because we watch movies or we have so many influences or male influences that determine what courage is and they're askew.
- 03:26:30
- They really don't line up with the biblical definition of it. I mean, we watch movies of a guy walking into a room of a hundred people and he somehow kills all these people with a 16 -round magazine without reloading.
- 03:26:43
- And this is our definition of a courageous man. That's not a courageous man, that's an absolute idiot that would do that.
- 03:26:50
- And you see it in the lives of our young men, they're riveted to these things and they're riveted to video games.
- 03:26:56
- I'm not hating on cool movies or hating on video games necessarily, but what they're trying to do is they're trying to live out their lives vicariously through these men that they think are courageous.
- 03:27:07
- And they end up just kind of trying to virtually live out a courageous life, but they end up accomplishing nothing at all because this type of man that the world would define as courageous does not exist.
- 03:27:20
- You think about these guys in these movies, they're fake. There's no way that we could possibly achieve it, it's an absolutely aberrant or virtual or synthetic definition of what it means to be a man.
- 03:27:34
- But really when you get down to it, and I don't have a lot of time to break this apart, which I wish
- 03:27:39
- I would, which I wish I could, but a courageous man is just simply a faithful man, consistent man.
- 03:27:48
- A man that gets up every day and he says, Lord, let your will be done. A man that says, you know what, this is what you've called me to do.
- 03:27:54
- You say I'm to go out and rescue those who are being delivered to death, those who stumble towards a slaughter. If you said that this is what
- 03:28:01
- I need to do and what you command me to do, then I'm going to do it. That is the courageous man.
- 03:28:07
- There's so much courage going on in the Christian church under the radar, it's nothing that's celebritized, but it's these simple men who are going about obeying
- 03:28:17
- God's commands. That's what it means to be that's what it means to be courageous. That is the antithesis of cowardice.
- 03:28:25
- And so I think the prescription for us, if we're going to truly go about the task of continuing to defend the fatherless, the prescription is that we, what our young men need to see and what our men need to see is true men living their lives in faithful obedience.
- 03:28:43
- It's a definition of courage. That's the way the work is going to get done. As I mentioned before, that God will never use cowards to defeat his enemies.
- 03:28:54
- When God's men choose to be true men, they put off cowardice. They really truly repent.
- 03:28:59
- Not just up here, not just wish they could be courageous or wish they could walk away from cowardice.
- 03:29:06
- When they truly put it to death, then God uses that type of man to accomplish his purposes and put his enemies under his feet.
- 03:29:16
- So what I would have to say for you is repent with me. I confess
- 03:29:21
- I've been a coward in so many parts of my life that I can't even explain or can't even express.
- 03:29:28
- And it's not the way we're called to live. It's not the way that God gets his work done on this planet.
- 03:29:34
- These babies need to be saved. This abominable scourge, this holocaust needs to end. And it's only going to happen if we, me and you men decide to repent.
- 03:29:44
- Let's go ahead and pray. It's your baby.
- 03:29:51
- God gave it to you regardless of anybody there. When nobody else is there, there's love right here, right there.
- 03:30:04
- Hi, my name is Deanna Peterson. This here is Dion. First of all, he looks just like me.
- 03:30:13
- So he is the cutest thing. I think he's smart from he's only four months now, but he do a lot of stuff that is really fun to see.
- 03:30:25
- You know, it's fun to see them grow up and do stuff that they wasn't doing yesterday or the day before.
- 03:30:31
- And I imagine what he's going to look like when he get Bryce's age. Bryce turn two in a week. You know, emotions were already high just having my first baby and then when he was turning one then
- 03:30:46
- I found out I was pregnant with him. I was not having good luck with jobs.
- 03:30:53
- My living situation wasn't really that good. What am I going to do now?
- 03:31:00
- I figured it all out and he's here now. I had actually been sitting inside for a while.
- 03:31:08
- When I had walked past originally, everybody just waved them off at me like, you're going to do what you're going to do.
- 03:31:14
- I walked back outside because I was really impatient about it. I'm like, dang, there's like 30 ,000 people in here.
- 03:31:21
- Like, everybody want to do the same thing on the same day. So I went back outside. I called my children's father and my mom was outside.
- 03:31:31
- She was the one who took me up there. She didn't want to really take me. I'm like, you know, I'm thinking of something I got to do.
- 03:31:36
- Like, Mom, please just take me. But then I did stand there and I had a conversation with Andrew and it really changed my perception from that point on because I had the same mindset, same decision thinking when
- 03:31:56
- I was pregnant with my first son. I was like, oh my God. And then I had somebody save me then too. So, you know, it'd be a blessing that them people do be outside because ain't no telling where I would be without either one of them because I love them so much.
- 03:32:14
- If Andrew wasn't outside I probably would have still took the time to really contemplate it because once you're in there, like, you know, you kind of start feeling guilty.
- 03:32:25
- You'd be like you don't really know if that's what you want to do but then you think about you know, of course you think about who's going to be there for you and all that stuff when it really don't matter because God is there for you, you're going to be there for them.
- 03:32:37
- Life would be different. You know, I'd just have my one versus my two. you know, honestly
- 03:32:44
- I'd probably be in the same situation I was in because you know,
- 03:32:49
- I wasn't really pushing hard enough and trying hard enough but I had him and I guess it gave me a little more strength.
- 03:32:56
- It gave me a little more faith to fight and keep going. Just imagine the little you.
- 03:33:01
- Like, if somebody ended your life, you wouldn't have been here. So, you know, like why would you take this as a gift to you?
- 03:33:08
- Why would you take that away from me? When I'm mad and I be sometimes don't want to look at him sometimes because I'm so mad but then
- 03:33:16
- I do and I'm just, I'm overjoyed. I feel life, love and everything in between.
- 03:34:31
- Ken Cheeseman, Raleigh, North Carolina. You know, we wanted to do some evangelism but then we started seeing you know, this could be you know, abortion ministry could be effective for evangelism.
- 03:34:47
- YouTube just started watching found Durbin confronting people and then, yeah,
- 03:34:55
- YouTube basically. Well, I mean, at the place that we're at now, we have our pro -life
- 03:35:07
- I don't know, pregnancy center type place that's completely hostile and hates what we do.
- 03:35:14
- They're trying to do what we do and they really just hate the gospel, I think.
- 03:35:19
- They don't give them the gospel. They're out there and they say we're not with them we're not with them.
- 03:35:27
- Yeah, we're not with them. And they have gift bags.
- 03:35:32
- There's food in the bag. There's information about getting the ultrasound but we asked them to look in the bag and there's not even a gospel track.
- 03:35:44
- I really do think they're ashamed of the gospel. It's about handing out these bags and getting people to have the ultrasound so they can check the box, so they can extort money from churches that are afraid to share the gospel.
- 03:36:02
- People should support End Abortion now because they're not ashamed of the gospel and they're proclaiming the law of God which that's what's going to work on the heart to bring people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
- 03:36:20
- I mean, it is the gospel. We can't be ashamed of the full counsel of God if we don't proclaim it.
- 03:36:27
- If the church doesn't proclaim it there's no organization on earth that will. And then you have these pseudo -Christian organizations, again extorting and taking money from Christians in the name of Christ but will not speak the true message of Jesus Christ.
- 03:36:54
- Hi, I'm Jeff Durbin, pastor of Apologia Church and the head of EndAbortionNow .com I am so excited to present to you what
- 03:37:01
- God has done over the last year through your prayers and your support all that you've done to partner with us as a
- 03:37:07
- Christian church trying to equip other Christian churches globally to save lives at the abortion mill and to establish justice, immediate justice for these pre -born children.
- 03:37:17
- Years ago when we started this ministry we told you that we were a Christian church that wanted to make this about the gospel we did not want to work with the pro -life industry who were trying to regulate the issue of abortion we wanted to establish justice to abolish this, to criminalize it and to end it once and for all.
- 03:37:32
- When we first started, we told you that we wanted to raise churches up, to equip them completely for free. We wanted to educate them, we wanted to provide for them all the resources to go out and to save lives at the abortion mill.
- 03:37:43
- As of today over 615 local churches have signed up they have been equipped, they have been trained they've gotten free resources.
- 03:37:51
- We haven't taken anything from these churches, we've wanted only to give to them and through your support we've been able to equip them and train them and give them all their resources to save lives completely for free.
- 03:38:02
- Over 615 churches countless lives have been saved at this point. Thousands upon thousands of lives are being saved and they continue to be saved on a regular basis because of what you did with us, you gave to this church to equip these churches and now thousands of children are alive because of that.
- 03:38:22
- We knew that we needed to create a media ministry that was a platform that could communicate consistently on this issue of abortion from a consistent
- 03:38:30
- Christian perspective that worked towards the end, the criminalization and the abolition of abortion in our nation.
- 03:38:37
- We knew that we needed to speak with the gospel demanding immediate justice to our legislators. We started a movement across the country of Christians going to the legislature and demanding immediate justice.
- 03:38:48
- That all has happened and now we've been able to work with Christians across the country who are working with their legislators to criminalize the issue of abortion.
- 03:38:56
- Right now in the state of Arizona we have a representative who is presenting a bill to criminalize not regulate to end the issue of abortion in the state of Arizona.
- 03:39:06
- Roe v. Wade is a court opinion it does not have the force of law it is not a law and that is admitted now.
- 03:39:14
- Number one, we don't know exactly what she would do. Our expectation is that she may very well move to overview overrule
- 03:39:23
- Roe. The only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making
- 03:39:29
- Roe the law of the land. That's what I would do. We needed to educate believers that Roe v.
- 03:39:35
- Wade is a court opinion and states need to reject an unjust ruling by judges in the 1970s.
- 03:39:43
- We knew that we needed to actually approach this consistently in a way that was different than the pro -life industry has.
- 03:39:49
- Where they're working towards regulation and not the ultimate criminalization of abortion they call mothers and fathers who have abortions victims themselves.
- 03:39:59
- You'll never end abortion with that mindset, with that world view. The pro -life industry refuses to call abortion murder, what
- 03:40:06
- Christians would call it. We've wanted to raise churches up to actually equip them to focus on this issue as Christians.
- 03:40:13
- Not with neutrality but with the gospel demanding immediate justice. We've been able to do that through your support.
- 03:40:19
- Over 615 local churches now out saving thousands of lives. We have now established other media ministries.
- 03:40:26
- We through your support have actually given numerous churches their own media kit where they're actually going to be able to produce their own content just like Apologia Studios.
- 03:40:35
- We've given them high -end cameras and recording equipment, sound equipment, tripods lenses so they can do what we're doing to broaden the reach of the voices of those within the
- 03:40:46
- Christian church who can speak to this issue with consistency as Christians for the end of abortion.
- 03:40:53
- We've been able to raise up churches in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and in Scotland who are speaking to this issue as Christians in Ireland, in Australia in New Zealand, in Canada God has made this movement global and it's happened because of your support with us.
- 03:41:11
- I want to speak to you from the heart here we are not trying to create an industry I long for the day when we shut all this down and don't ask for another penny to support these churches and to criminalize this issue we are working as a
- 03:41:25
- Christian church to criminalize this and to establish justice and to save lives you've helped us to do that and you've helped us to do it in a way where we've been no burden to the churches we've just helped them equipped them.
- 03:41:39
- You did that you supported us, you prayed and right now we have legislators in Indiana, South Carolina Texas, Oklahoma and in Arizona who are going to be putting in bills to criminalize abortion to resist
- 03:41:53
- Roe vs Wade and to criminalize abortion at the state level it's going to be happening here in Arizona it's already being submitted and all that's happening because of the work of endabortionnow .com
- 03:42:07
- and other believers across the country who are trying to establish justice, true justice for these pre -born children will you join us again in 2021?
- 03:42:16
- of course pray for us of course please sign up at endabortionnow .com with your church save some lives with us there's
- 03:42:24
- Christians all over the country that need you to join us, we need your help to save lives but also partner with us so we can equip more churches develop more media ministries to speak to this issue in the public square together and to once and for all criminalize abortion in our nation.
- 03:42:40
- Help us to meet our matching donation for 2020 help us through 2021 to save more lives and to end the slaughter of these innocent pre -born children in the womb when you give to endabortionnow .com

- you're giving to equip local churches to save lives that's all there is to it. Lives are being saved every single day across the country and around the world now because of believers just like you who gave you are helping to raise churches up you are saving lives you're helping to establish media ministries like Apologia Studios that are speaking to this issue consistently, that are raising up Christians, that are helping to actually end to criminalize the issue of abortion you're helping us to actually train and equip
- 03:43:27
- Christians to do what we've been able to do across the country now Christians have been able to talk to their legislators and demand immediate justice just think about this 10 years ago, we weren't in a place that we are now where we have legislators who are actually saying, end it it's over, we're criminalizing this we're abolishing it now we're here.
- 03:43:49
- Christians have been working so faithfully in this area and you can partner with a ministry like Apologia through End Abortion Now to raise up churches, to bring the message of the gospel into conflict with abortion and to bring the message of immediate justice to legislatures across the country like this one it's happening in Arizona right now we have people all over the country now who are in this this is unprecedented in our time to see so many changes right on the line and I just want to reiterate again
- 03:44:22
- I am so looking forward to the day as a pastor, where we never do another one of these videos except just to celebrate what
- 03:44:29
- God has done we never ask for another penny the pro -life industry is an industry it's a business when you give this to the church, the church can work with the gospel to end this issue and never ask for another penny brothers and sisters will you give?
- 03:44:46
- help us to match our donation so we can fund all the work for 2021 will you help us in this moment in time to work to the end of abortion as the

- Christian church, help us to work in such a way that we end this we don't regulate it, we criminalize it and establish justice for our pre -born neighbors now, that's what's happening, so many churches so many lives saved now more media ministries than ours, able to speak to this with good quality content with a consistent message and working with the legislators to criminalize this issue in our country, will you partner with a
- 03:45:24

- 03:46:08
- I'd be so grateful if you did alright, I've been asked to give 5 tips on how to get started in abortion ministry everywhere you go, everything's going to be a little bit different but these are 5 things that I think are pretty essential number 1,
- 03:46:26
- I think that the best deal is when we are able to own that abortion clinic, when you're able to get somebody there full time to head up the ministry there
- 03:46:38
- I'm so thankful that there's people around the country now that are doing that but it's very important to own that place
- 03:46:45
- I'm at my abortion clinic every day and there's people that can come and minister, they know that they're going to be in Orlando that day or a certain day for some other doctor's appointment or something so they know though that they can come by that clinic and minister there for an hour or two or do whatever on any day and then once everybody knows that you're there then it flows that people would come down and minister with you it's very important that you have the local church behind you and that you're supported and fed and taken care of by the people in your church that they agree with you that they're behind this type of ministry, that they believe that the church should be down fighting for the lives of innocent babies and that the gospel should be brought to such a wicked place now
- 03:47:42
- I know there's a lot of people whose churches aren't behind them for that but I would suggest then that you try to find another church
- 03:47:51
- I know that I wouldn't be able to do what I do if I didn't have the support, love and care of not only the leaders in my church but also the members of my church.
- 03:48:02
- Well they provide care, prayer, love they support financially, they also have a support for the people that choose life there's a group of women at our church that when someone chooses life at the abortion clinic, you can turn them over to them and they'll be discipled, they'll be taken care of they'll become involved in their lives and it's a very important very important thing another thing that you need to do is to know scripture, especially scripture that pertains to the ministry down at the mill, that God tells us in Romans 1 that the gospel is the power of God so when we come there, our two weapons are prayer and God's word and that's, those are the tools that He has instituted for us to fight this fight with, so you don't want to go down there without a sword you don't want to go get into a battle without a sword so just study as much as you can of scriptures that pertain to what
- 03:49:16
- God thinks of abortion what the consequences of it are, His faithfulness to everyone that is obedient and commits themselves to Him and repents of it always have and always be looking never quit looking actually for resources, unfortunate that I have several pregnancy centers in the
- 03:49:37
- Orlando area, but we also have people in our church that do and everything from adoption to just taking care of whatever needs they have but just always know what you can it takes time
- 03:49:53
- I know if you're going to go start at a brand new place, it's going to take you time to figure all these things out, but the
- 03:50:00
- Lord will lead you in it, it's very important too that you have follow up with these ladies, as much as they'll let you into their lives, there's a dear lady that comes down and helps the clinic where I'm at, her name's
- 03:50:15
- Karen she has bible studies and everything for people that choose life and tries to disciple them and tries to lead them all to Christ and be involved evangelistically in their families as well that is really important because so many of them if you're not careful can fall through the cracks, even when you are really trying to not let anybody fall through the cracks it can happen, so you want people that can take care of that thing like all
- 03:50:51
- I can do, myself personally, is I go to an abortion clinic, and I try to speak to people as they're arriving, and then
- 03:51:02
- I preach the word, and then they come out, and someone chooses life pray with them, and send them on the way with resources but I can't be involved in all these people's lives and the people that,
- 03:51:23
- I'm just the mouth, and then there's all these other people that are hearts and hands and arms that are so desperately important and that is the key to truly having a ministry it's a whole package, these are just a few points that I was asked to bring out and I would just encourage you to research it all yourself
- 03:52:34
- Hey man, you want a water? Can we talk? Can we talk? We can talk?
- 03:52:42
- Alright, I appreciate that This is my wife So you have an option, you can talk to a male or a female, or both?
- 03:52:50
- Both? What would bring you to this place, man? I got a four month old baby, and right now
- 03:52:56
- I just can't deal with another So, it's based on your circumstance, right?
- 03:53:01
- Basically So you have one baby? It's hard enough as it is Yeah, well, I understand that, we're not saying that raising kids is puppies and pancakes it's definitely a responsibility but the child is here and presented as a gift to you,
- 03:53:15
- I just don't think you have the eyes to see it that way. You see your other child as a gift, right? What's that child's name?
- 03:53:21
- Liam? I know it's hard, man, but you know what? We love you and we care about you and we want to walk through this with you
- 03:53:31
- The baby's here and doing this is like, it's unnatural
- 03:53:36
- In this world it says go ahead and do it but you know it's wrong So we want to scoop you up and point you to right because think about this, we live in God's world right?
- 03:53:47
- We live in God's world so He makes the rules and He says that all children are a gift and He gives them, and some of these gifts test our hearts.
- 03:53:55
- He's showing you what's inside you right now what you're capable of. Now His answer is to trust
- 03:54:01
- Him, to repent, turn away. Repentance is a Christian word, right? But what it means is it's going to have a result of you turning away from doing darkness and turning to God who is light
- 03:54:12
- So we want to swoop you up and point you and care for you. I'm speaking about your family today.
- 03:54:19
- The one that's outside of the womb, you say you have needs? We all have needs and I'm not to make anything light of that Today, usually there's only a few ministers out here, me and my brother
- 03:54:30
- Right now, we have a national organization here that's fully funded by churches and we want to save your child we want you to unwrap that gift that God has given you, right?
- 03:54:44
- I guarantee you, I've never spoken to a woman who's changed her mind and many have, who have regretted changing their mind
- 03:54:51
- In fact, one of them comes out Saturday and she serves with her baby in her hand and she made three attempts here on that child's life but God, each time, arrested her arrested her desire to murder her baby.
- 03:55:05
- That's what it is Right? You know what it is and we're not going to play games with you We want to help you to see that and trust in Him.
- 03:55:13
- You have a soft heart right now, but I want you to have a soft heart for God. God is a rich provider
- 03:55:18
- He provides, He provides through His people, He provides through strangers He'll move people's hearts to come alongside
- 03:55:23
- Him and what seems impossible, God will make a way and He'll make it so that people know that it's from Him So your heart and mine are being tested and I know that this is hard because you're being tempted by the world.
- 03:55:35
- See the issue here, what's your name? Shaniqua. Shaniqua? That's pretty The issue here is not what's in your wallet or how many apartment rooms you have, it's what's in your heart and God's got to deal with you first, the center the main issue is your heart
- 03:55:52
- Heal that heart, make you be born again and then you'll have affections to do what is right. And when you're in that circle of obedience, you'll see
- 03:55:59
- God He'll open your eyes. Oh, God provided for me. God provided me It doesn't come all at once, but when
- 03:56:06
- I came to Christ, it came it came pretty frequently, you know. Being obedient to God is an outward expression of what you believe.
- 03:56:15
- I believe God can save you. I believe that God can make things right. I believe that God is a faithful God who is faithful in His promises.
- 03:56:23
- And I'm here just to bear light to that. And to swoop Shaniqua off and say, come away from the devil's house, because he comes to steal, kill and destroy lock you into guilt and shame leave you there.
- 03:56:35
- He's not for you He's against you. But God He can be He's the one who provides for us ultimately
- 03:56:42
- Trust in Him Turn away today Hi, I'm Jeff Durbin, pastor of Apologia Church and the head of EndAbortionNow .com
- 03:57:03
- I am so excited to present to you what God has done over the last year through your prayers and your support all that you've done to partner with us as a
- 03:57:11
- Christian church trying to equip other Christian churches globally to save lives at the abortion mill and to establish justice, immediate justice for these pre -born children
- 03:57:21
- Years ago when we started this ministry, we told you that we were a Christian church that wanted to make this about the gospel
- 03:57:26
- We did not want to work with the pro -life industry who are trying to regulate the issue of abortion. We wanted to establish justice to abolish this, to criminalize it and to end it once and for all
- 03:57:36
- When we first started, we told you that we wanted to raise churches up, to equip them completely for free.
- 03:57:42
- We wanted to educate them. We wanted to provide for them all the resources to go out and to save lives at the abortion mill.
- 03:57:48
- As of today over 615 local churches have signed up They have been equipped.
- 03:57:53
- They have been trained. They've gotten free resources. We haven't taken anything from these churches. We've wanted only to give to them and through your support, we've been able to equip them and train them and give them all their resources to save lives completely for free
- 03:58:06
- Over 615 churches countless lives have been saved at this point.
- 03:58:12
- Thousands upon thousands of lives are being saved and they continue to be saved on a regular basis because of what you did with us.
- 03:58:20
- You gave to this church to equip these churches and now thousands of children are alive because of that.
- 03:58:26
- We knew that we needed to create a media ministry that was a platform that could communicate consistently on this issue of abortion from a consistent
- 03:58:34
- Christian perspective that worked towards the end, the criminalization and the abolition of abortion in our nation
- 03:58:41
- We speak with the gospel demanding immediate justice to our legislators We started a movement across the country going to the legislature and demanding immediate justice
- 03:58:51
- That all has happened and now We've been able to work with Christians across the country who are working with their legislators to criminalize the issue of abortion.
- 03:59:00
- Right now in the state of Arizona we have a representative who is presenting a bill to criminalize not regulate to end the issue of abortion in the state of Arizona Roe v.
- 03:59:10
- Wade is a court opinion It does not have the force of law It is not a law and that is admitted now
- 03:59:17
- Number one, we don't know exactly what she would do. Her expectation is that she may very well move to overview overrule
- 03:59:27
- Roe The only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making
- 03:59:32
- Roe the law of the land That's what I would do We needed to educate believers that Roe v.
- 03:59:38
- Wade is a court opinion and states need to reject an unjust ruling by judges in the 1970s
- 03:59:46
- We knew that we needed to actually approach this consistently in a way that was different than the pro -life industry has where they're working towards regulation and not the ultimate criminalization of abortion
- 03:59:57
- They call mothers and fathers who have abortions, victims themselves You'll never end abortion with that mindset, with that world view
- 04:00:05
- The pro -life industry refuses to call abortion murder what Christians would call it
- 04:00:10
- We've wanted to raise churches up to actually equip them to focus on this issue as Christians, not with neutrality but with the gospel, demanding immediate justice
- 04:00:20
- We've been able to do that through your support over 615 local churches now out -saving thousands of lives
- 04:00:26
- We have now established other media ministries We, through your support, have actually given numerous churches their own media kit where they're actually going to be able to produce their own content just like Apologia Studios We've given them high -end cameras and recording equipment, sound equipment tripods, lenses so they can do what we're doing to broaden the reach of the voices of those within the
- 04:00:49
- Christian church who can speak to this issue with consistency as Christians for the end of abortion
- 04:00:55
- We've been able to raise up churches in Ireland, Northern Ireland the Republic of Ireland, and in Scotland who are speaking to this issue as Christians in Ireland in Australia, in New Zealand in Canada God has made this movement global and it's happened because of your support with us
- 04:01:14
- I want to speak to you from the heart here We are not trying to create an industry I long for the day when we shut all this down and don't ask for another penny to support these churches and to criminalize this issue
- 04:01:27
- We are working as a Christian church to criminalize this and to establish justice and to save lives
- 04:01:33
- You've helped us to do that and you've helped us to do it in a way where we've been no burden to the churches
- 04:01:39
- We've just helped them, equipped them You did that You supported us, you prayed and right now we have legislators in Indiana, South Carolina Texas, Oklahoma and in Arizona who are going to be putting in bills to criminalize abortion to resist
- 04:01:56
- Roe vs. Wade and to criminalize abortion at the state level It's going to be happening here in Arizona It's already being submitted and all that's happening because of the work of EndAbortionNow .com
- 04:02:10
- and other believers across the country who are trying to establish justice, true justice for these pre -born children

- 04:03:34
- Christians have been able to talk to their legislators and demand immediate justice Just think about this 10 years ago, we weren't in a place that we are now where we have legislators who are actually saying, end it
- 04:03:47
- It's over. We're criminalizing this We're abolishing it Now we're here.
- 04:03:52
- Christians have been working so faithfully in this area and you can partner with a ministry like Apologia through EndAbortionNow .com
- 04:04:01
- to bring the message of the gospel into conflict with abortion and to bring the message of immediate justice to legislatures across the country like this one.
- 04:04:10
- It's happening in Arizona right now We have people all over the country now who are in this.
- 04:04:16
- This is unprecedented in our time to see so many changes right on the line and I just want to reiterate again,
- 04:04:26
- I am so looking forward to the day as a pastor where we never do another one of these videos except just to celebrate what
- 04:04:32
- God has done. We never ask for another penny. The pro -life industry is an industry.
- 04:04:38
- It's a business When you give this to the church the church can work with the gospel to end this issue and never ask for another penny
- 04:04:47
- Brothers and sisters, will you give? Help us to match our donation so we can fund all the work for 2021

- 04:05:10

- 04:05:26
- Will you partner with a Christian church that makes this about the gospel that makes this about ending abortion once and for all

- 04:05:54
- All of your giving goes towards raising up churches, saving lives creating media content and media ministries to speak to this issue and to training churches to actually end this at the legislature.
- 04:06:08
- Join us for 2021 brothers and sisters I'd be so grateful if you did So this is actually to my mind a historic site
- 04:06:21
- It's a place where one of the giants of the faith of our generation has stood and ministered for 16 years
- 04:06:30
- It's a really incredible spot. This is the Orlando Women's Center I've only been here for a little bit as we're getting everything set up to do this for you so you can see this place and just being here for a short time
- 04:06:43
- I've already seen several mothers and fathers going in and out I've watched two women who came in here to kill their children stumble out and sort of be carried out by the fathers of the children and so it's it really can be a devastating emotional experience to be out here to be so close
- 04:07:11
- We've been in this for maybe about a decade preaching the gospel at abortion mills raising up churches to go and save lives thousands of children have been saved through the work of the churches through end abortion now who have come out to preach the gospel to offer help and hope and love to mothers and fathers who are going in to kill their children but where we're at we can't get this close to the abortion mill so this for me is a really powerful experience not just because of how close you can be to the mothers and the fathers who are going in there to kill their children how close you can be to the paid assassin who's out back smoking and to the staff that are out there smoking in between killing children but it's it's an amazing place to be because of what's taking place at this location
- 04:08:03
- John Barros is my hero of the faith one of my heroes of the faith he's been out here faithfully he's been a silent hero for so long every single day coming out here to preach the gospel to these mothers and fathers to plead for the lives of their children he's been doing it for 16 years
- 04:08:21
- I call him a silent hero because he was doing this and he was faithful out here every single day before people really cared about who he was or had cameras on him or could do live feeds out here he was just saving children by the thousands before it was cool and so many miracles have happened here at the
- 04:08:43
- Orlando Women's Center too many miracles to actually talk about right now on this particular clip but miracles happening
- 04:08:51
- I mean even everyday I've talked to the two men that are out here today and they've already seen I think two or three saves today just by being here being faithful standing on the truth and preaching
- 04:09:03
- Christ but I wanted to show you this, this for me is a moment that I will never forget
- 04:09:10
- John's one of my heroes he's inspired me to do this work and abortion now exists in many ways because of his testimony and his work but I've wanted to come here for so long to experience just being here at the place where God has moved to save thousands of children from death over so many years and I've wanted to come here because well because of this this is actually a very very powerful thing
- 04:09:39
- John, many of you guys know, stands on crutches so not only does he come to the abortion mill to preach the gospel to save lives all day long and let me just tell you right now it's hot out here, it's hot it's not comfortable but he stands on crutches and he's been here for so long so faithfully been here for so long for 16 years that he's literally worn the sidewalk down he's worn the sidewalk down right in front of the doors where the mothers and fathers are going in to kill their children, this has been his station right here, this is his spot and this is where the gospel has come from this worn down sidewalk right into those doors into those mothers and fathers in there who are going to kill their children, the gospel has come out from this spot so many thousands of times and God has saved so many thousands of children, to my mind, this ought to be a monument it is a monument it's a monument to one man's faithfulness, to a silent hero a man who's given his life for these children and I was saying this earlier so many thousands of children are going to go through their whole lives and never even hear the story of the hero who saved their lives, many of the mothers and fathers who turned away from killing the children aren't going to tell their child you know,
- 04:11:07
- I was going to kill you and then this man stopped me, they'll never tell them who knows?
- 04:11:13
- God knows John knows those mothers and fathers know but their children, they won't know that their life is a reality because of one man's faithfulness in this hot sun outside of this one place of death for so many years and there's a monument to his heroic acts, there's a monument to his faithfulness and it's it truly is incredible because I don't know if it comes through on the camera like it does when you're here but if you feel the sidewalk all around here it's consistent, it's rough but as soon as you move over here,
- 04:12:00
- John has stood here and you can see where he's worn the sidewalk down and even where when he was standing on his crutches he's worn the sidewalk down to where this is white but it's not just white he's literally worn it down to where there's holes in the concrete you can feel this man's faithfulness the monument to it all of this dark and consistent and then the concrete just worn down from the weight of his body pushing into those crutches leaving a mark of gospel faithfulness going through those doors and it's powerful because wouldn't it be amazing if one day like this was an actual historic site
- 04:12:52
- I think it ought to be I know it is in God's mind but to me this is one of the most precious moments of my life to be able to see this because this man and his silent faithfulness the silent hero was out here preaching the gospel to these women saving lives long before most of us got involved in this.
- 04:13:14
- There are many heroes besides John, don't forget that but many of us today who are out preaching the gospel and saving lives are doing it in a particular context that's just so different John and others like him were out here as silent heroes before most of us had woken up and here's the monument to his faithfulness
- 04:13:36
- I'm so glad I got to touch it and you can not just hear this story you can not just hear this story and say oh that was amazing praise
- 04:13:49
- God for this man and move on don't do that don't do that we're a part of this now as the church with the gospel to save lives and preach the gospel this is about the truth this isn't merely a political situation
- 04:14:10
- I'm not trying to draw on your heart strings there's real children being slaughtered inside this location and others like it that are near you you can be a part of what
- 04:14:23
- God is doing to save children and to bring the gospel into conflict with the issue of abortion we actually found out that she had cystic fibrosis about a week after she was born
- 04:14:51
- Adrienne knew that something wasn't right just by how she was eating and some different things like that so what
- 04:14:58
- I remember was Adrienne went to her first appointment with Jade and when she came home she was in tears just crying she couldn't even really talk so Cheryl was with us which is our pastor's wife and she told me she said
- 04:15:15
- Jade has cystic fibrosis and I didn't know at the time what that meant exactly I didn't know what that meant for Jade I just knew it was bad
- 04:15:24
- I knew it had something to do with her lungs so from there on we just started planning on how to raise a child with cystic fibrosis it used to be a death sentence for kids now, thank the
- 04:15:39
- Lord we live in a time where the medical technology has come so far, medication has come so far with any baby they need to eat a lot and with her you can't just feed her, she needs medication every time she eats anything so that can get time consuming and stressful but she's very happy, she's very playful and she's been healthy lately and it's just really rewarding to see how far she's come what a joy she brings to our family regardless of what we have to do to keep her healthy abortion wasn't even a thing that ever crossed our mind
- 04:16:44
- I think that a lot of people look at Jade's condition and they think, oh she has something that's going to make her life difficult and hard and it's going to make your guys' life difficult and hard the narrative we're sold is the best thing to do is just kill her for us, that never crossed our mind because life is hard in general, it's hard for all of us it's hard for children, it's hard for adults parents, husbands, wives life is difficult and there are many obstacles that we go through so abortion never crossed our mind and we're continuing to have children knowing that our future children could also have cystic fibrosis every child we have there's a 25 % chance and we're not deterred from having children children are a blessing and God made her just the way she was not only did you save one generation oh thank you, not only did you save my first granddaughter because that she lived
- 04:17:54
- I am a great grandmother and my mother is a great great grandmother and they all are doing well and I just thank you for your ministry because my mother had me to commit abortion when
- 04:18:10
- I was 16 and I did not want to have it but my mother made me have it and because of that I am so desperately thankful that my daughter did not commit an abortion here and she had my granddaughter, her name is
- 04:18:30
- Jocelyn and Jocelyn is on her second baby and so we're great grandmothers
- 04:18:35
- I just want to tell you that thank you so much so you know, your endeavors is not on her and all the people who say the mean things it's not in pro -life even though my mother had me to have an abortion but at that time back in the day they didn't want the girls to get pregnant and my mother was fearful and praise
- 04:18:57
- God he's forgiving because we've all done things I'm on my way to prayer right now we knew of a woman that had needed some help and we had chosen to help her with her pregnancy and she birthed a little girl and we continued to help her for a couple years and she ended up pregnant an unwanted pregnancy and she wanted to get an abortion and I just I couldn't fathom that and I talked to her about it being murder and that it's just you can't do that she couldn't do it,
- 04:19:49
- I just wasn't going to let her do it and I said we'll talk tomorrow, next day came she was living at her home by the way next day came and she still wanted to and I said you couldn't and I told her she couldn't and four days went by and on the fourth day she said that she had already ruined him that she had already she had already ruined him that she said that she had already been doing things that she shouldn't have been doing while she was pregnant and she said that nobody would want him and I said that I would and I said that she couldn't get an abortion and that I wanted him and then
- 04:20:26
- I called my husband and I told him what I said and he was like okay we're going to have another baby and he was born two months early and his name is
- 04:20:36
- Jaris and we are so blessed by him and I'm so blessed that that mom chose life
- 04:20:45
- I'm so blessed that she trusted me that she trusted me to help her through her pregnancy and to care for him and he's one he's he's one well he's number ten and he is full of energy and we hadn't had a boy for a while so it's just he's a bundle of joy he is he's more than what
- 04:21:20
- I expected he's right on track with kids his age he's not been affected by anything that she was doing he's perfect Hi I'm Jeff Durbin pastor of Apologia Church and the head of EndAbortionNow .com
- 04:21:52
- I am so excited to present to you what God has done over the last year through your prayers and your support all that you've done to partner with us as a
- 04:22:00
- Christian church trying to equip other Christian churches globally to save lives at the abortion mill and to establish justice immediate justice for these pre -born children years ago when we started this ministry we told you that we were a
- 04:22:13
- Christian church that wanted to make this about the gospel we did not want to work with the pro -life industry who were trying to regulate the issue of abortion, we wanted to establish justice to abolish this, to criminalize it and to end it once and for all when we first started we told you that we wanted to raise churches up to equip them completely for free, we wanted to educate them, we wanted to provide for them all the resources to go out and to save lives at the abortion mill, as of today over 615 local churches have signed up they have been equipped, they have been trained they've gotten free resources, we haven't taken anything from these churches, we've wanted only to give to them and through your support we've been able to equip them and train them and give them all their resources to save lives completely for free over 615 churches countless lives have been saved at this point, thousands upon thousands of lives are being saved and they continue to be saved on a regular basis because of what you did with us, you gave to this church to equip these churches and now thousands of children are alive because of that we knew that we needed to create a media ministry that was a platform that could communicate consistently on this issue of abortion from a consistent
- 04:23:23
- Christian perspective that worked towards the end, the criminalization and the abolition of abortion in our nation, we knew that we needed to speak with the gospel demanding immediate justice to our legislators, we started a movement across the country of Christians going to the legislature and demanding immediate justice, that all has happened and now we've been able to work with Christians across the country who are working with their legislators to criminalize the issue of abortion right now in the state of Arizona we have a representative who is presenting a bill to criminalize not regulate to end the issue of abortion in the state of Arizona Roe v.
- 04:24:00
- Wade is a court opinion it does not have the force of law it is not a law and that is admitted now number one, we don't know exactly what she would do, the expectation is that she may very well move to overview overrule
- 04:24:17
- Roe the only responsible response to that would be to pass legislation making
- 04:24:22
- Roe the law of the land, that's what I would do we needed to educate believers that Roe v.
- 04:24:28
- Wade is a court opinion and states need to reject an unjust ruling by judges in the 1970's we knew that we needed to actually approach this consistently in a way that was different than the pro -life industry has, where they're working towards regulation and not the ultimate criminalization of abortion they call mothers and fathers who have abortions, victims themselves, you'll never end abortion with that mindset, with that world view the pro -life industry refuses to call abortion murder what
- 04:24:59
- Christians would call it we've wanted to raise churches up to actually equip them to focus on this issue as Christians, not with neutrality but with the gospel demanding immediate justice, we've been able to do that through your support, over 615 local churches now out saving thousands of lives, we have now established other media ministries we, through your support have actually given numerous churches their own media kit, where they're actually going to be able to produce their own content just like Apologia Studios we've given them high end cameras and recording equipment, sound equipment tripods, lenses, so they can do what we're doing to broaden the reach of the voices of those within the
- 04:25:40
- Christian church who can speak to this issue with consistency as Christians, for the end of abortion, we've been able to raise up churches in Ireland Northern Ireland, the
- 04:25:51
- Republic of Ireland, and in Scotland who are speaking to this issue as Christians in Ireland in Australia, in New Zealand, in Canada, God has made this movement global, and it's happened because of your support with us
- 04:26:04
- I want to speak to you from the heart here we are not trying to create an industry, I long for the day when we shut all this down and don't ask for another penny to support these churches and to criminalize this issue, we are working as a
- 04:26:19
- Christian church to criminalize this and to establish justice and to save lives, you've helped us to do that, and you've helped us to do it in a way where we've been no burden to the churches, we've just helped them, equipped them, you did that, you supported us, you prayed and right now we have legislators in Indiana, South Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, and in Arizona who are going to be putting in bills to criminalize abortion, to resist
- 04:26:47
- Roe vs Wade and to criminalize abortion at the state level, it's going to be happening here in Arizona, it's already being submitted, and all of that's happening because of the work of EndAbortionNow .com

- 04:28:20
- Christians to do what we've been able to do across the country now, Christians have been able to talk to their legislators and demand immediate justice just think about this, 10 years ago we weren't in a place that we are now, where we have legislators who are actually saying end it, it's over, we're criminalizing this, we're abolishing it now we're here
- 04:28:43
- Christians have been working so faithfully in this area and you can partner with a ministry like Apologia through EndAbortionNow to raise up churches to bring the message of the
- 04:28:52
- Gospel into conflict with abortion and to bring the message of immediate justice to legislatures across the country like this one it's happening in Arizona right now we have people all over the country now who are in this this is unprecedented in our time to see so many changes right on the line and I just want to reiterate again
- 04:29:17
- I am so looking forward to the day as a pastor where we never do another one of these videos except just to celebrate what
- 04:29:23
- God has done, we never ask for another penny, the pro -life industry is an industry, it's a business when you give this to the church the church can work with the

- 04:29:50
- Christian church, help us to work in such a way that we end this, we don't regulate it we criminalize it and establish justice for our pre -born neighbors, now that's what's happening, so many churches, so many lives saved, now more media ministries than ours able to speak to this with good quality content with a consistent message and working with the legislators to criminalize this issue in our country, will you partner with a
- 04:30:17
- Christian church that makes this about the Gospel that makes this about ending abortion once and for all we can celebrate together when we never ask for another penny from a
- 04:30:30
- Christian to end this issue because it's ended go to endabortionnow .com
- 04:30:37
- sign up with your church to join us in saving lives go to endabortionnow .com
- 04:30:43
- to give towards the work of 2021 all of your giving goes towards raising up churches saving lives, creating media content and media ministries to speak to this issue and to training churches to actually end this at the legislature join us for 2021 brothers and sisters,
- 04:31:02
- I'd be so grateful if you did my name's
- 04:31:08
- Christina we are in Raleigh North Carolina so a year a year this past October we've been going out, every
- 04:31:18
- Monday is our day well initially my husband so we came across some videos abortion now videos on YouTube and actually it was the desire to go to the city council meetings at first is what really was kind of like our thought process and then
- 04:31:43
- God did a miraculous thing one weekend and we watched babies are murdered here and then we
- 04:31:50
- Patti Smith somehow visited our church that same weekend and so we got to meet
- 04:31:57
- Patti and Scott Smith and we did some street preaching with them like that day and then we trained with them for like six weeks on how they do abortion meal ministry and then we've just been doing it faithfully ever since it's truly gospel centered they're not ashamed of the gospel they're calling people to repentance, they're pointing out that this is murder, that this is sin we now have a actual resource center from Raleigh that is trying to do sidewalk ministry next to us it's kind of sad, it's sad to see their focus is on just sharing snacks and smiling and waving and their message is one of we know you have a hard decision to make and we just want to give you other options as if abortion is still an option when it should not be an option at all because it's murder so murder should never be an option so the pro -life message is weak it's a weak message and it's not
- 04:33:06
- Christ centered and it's not biblical if you're giving to a resource center,
- 04:33:11
- I would say stop that and give to end abortion now because they are legit, they are
- 04:33:19
- Christ centered, standing on the word of God and not ashamed of Jesus thank you everyone again for tuning in to this tonight
- 04:33:34
- I'm super excited to be able to speak to everyone tonight if you don't know who I am, my name is Luke Pearson and I'm the discipleship pastor at Apologia Church here in Mesa, Arizona and also one of the co -founders of End Abortion Now and like I said it's an absolute honor and privilege to be speaking to you tonight.
- 04:33:54
- My dear friend and brother and really I consider my father in this fight
- 04:34:00
- Rusty Thomas, who I see you sitting there in the front row brother he asked us to prepare what he called the message that we would give to any magistrate or pastor if given the opportunity so you just heard one of my best friends and one of my fellow elders here at Apologia do an excellent job of presenting a biblical view of cowardice and now
- 04:34:25
- I want to follow up with an open message to any and all pastors or magistrates admonishing you to be courageous and to stand tall in this fight to end the slaughter of our pre -born neighbors and their mother's wombs to boldly make decisions based upon biblical principles of truth and to lead by example even if you're all alone
- 04:34:49
- I have a quote here from Charles Spurgeon he once said that the weakest of minds are those which go forward because they are borne along by the throng the truly strong are accustomed to stand alone and are not cast down if they find themselves in a minority so you may feel like you're in the minority but when you fight on the side of almighty
- 04:35:14
- God you are never truly alone and never ever in the minority before getting too far into this message
- 04:35:25
- I want to tell you a quick story which by the way I know Rusty gave the three of us about an hour and a half so we'll see how we do with that we're used to each speaking at least an hour,
- 04:35:37
- Pastor Jeff's after me and an hour would be a miracle so we're going to do our best to get done in an hour and a half here but I want to tell you a quick story so back in the first week of March of this year
- 04:35:52
- BC as I call it before COVID Pastor Zach, myself and Pastor Jeff again who's up next, we had the unforgettable and life -changing opportunity to go on the
- 04:36:04
- Covenanter tour in Edinburgh, Scotland without getting too far off topic it was amazing, we were able to see the church and the pulpit of John Knox, his house his grave where he's literally buried in a parking lot and what an amazing man if you don't know much about him you need to study up on him, he's an amazing
- 04:36:27
- Scottish reformer but we also saw, we went to the museum and we saw the Scottish National Covenant of 1638 and it was literally signed in blood by the
- 04:36:40
- Covenanters, they signed their names in their own blood so these are the same faithful men who ultimately founded our nation we saw the devices used to torture them, we heard incredible stories of their martyrdom and even touched, we laid our hands upon the blood -stained guillotine used to behead them and literally,
- 04:37:00
- I'm not exaggerating when I say this, as soon as we finished the tour, we stood there in utter awe and amazement we were ready and willing and inspired to fight, right and we literally asked ourselves, we looked at each other and we said, what is
- 04:37:14
- God preparing us for so the moment we landed back in the U .S. within two to three days of us landing back,
- 04:37:22
- COVID hit and immediately we were forced with a decision, even if we should gather or not gather for worship needless to say we were left with no choice but to defy tyranny at all cost.
- 04:37:36
- John Knox himself once said, resistance to tyranny is obedient to God and I now want to encourage you to do the same but before going any further, let's look at the main passage of scripture that I want to drive home tonight, it's
- 04:37:52
- Proverbs 24, 10 through 12 it says, if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small rescue those who are being taken away to death, hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter if you say, behold, we did not know this does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
- 04:38:10
- does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it? and will he not repay man according to his work?
- 04:38:18
- before going any further, I'd like to start off in prayer, Lord I thank you once again for this opportunity to be here tonight and to to preach this message
- 04:38:28
- Lord and we just, I ask that you get me out of the way Lord, I ask that you use this conference these messages tonight
- 04:38:34
- Lord for your glory, we ask that you would use them to end this modern Holocaust in our nation, use them to encourage and inspire and motivate pastors and legislators and most of all
- 04:38:45
- Lord we ask that you would be glorified in Christ, in me pray Amen So, a brief outline of my talk tonight, first I want to look at two stories from scripture that I hope and pray will inspire you to take courage and then next
- 04:39:00
- I will speak directly to pastors and then directly to legislators and lastly I will close by admonishing everyone together
- 04:39:08
- So the stories I want to talk about, the first one is David and Goliath which we're probably all familiar with 1st
- 04:39:14
- Samuel chapter 17 we all know the story right? but I think we often look at what is actually said
- 04:39:20
- So David first came to the Israelite camp and he saw Goliath for the very first time and Goliath literally says he was breeding threats against the
- 04:39:30
- Israelite army verse 26 here is David's response to Goliath, he says For who is this uncircumcised
- 04:39:37
- Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God? So notice
- 04:39:42
- David's immediate boldness and courage, while the entire Israelite army was hiding in utter fear
- 04:39:50
- David was not at all impressed by Goliath After declining Saul's armor he went and he collected the five stones for his sling and he approached
- 04:40:00
- Goliath So Goliath's reaction then to David when he approached him in verses 43 and 44 was this
- 04:40:06
- Am I a dog that you come to me with sticks? Come to me and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the field
- 04:40:16
- Scripture says that Goliath actually disdained David and cursed him by his gods.
- 04:40:22
- So here's David's reply then in verses 45 to 47 he says You come to me with a sword and a spear and with a javelin but I come to you in the name of the
- 04:40:30
- Lord of hosts the God of the armies of Israel whom you have defied
- 04:40:36
- This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand and I will strike you down and cut off your head and I will give you the dead bodies of the hosts of the
- 04:40:44
- Philistines this day to the birds of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth that all the earth may know that there is a
- 04:40:50
- God in Israel and that all this assembly may know that the Lord saves not with sword and spear for the battle is the
- 04:40:57
- Lord's and he will give you into our hand. So the point
- 04:41:03
- I want us to get here is how often do we have the same courage that David had? How often do we face our enemies with that much confidence?
- 04:41:12
- I believe Goliath is a perfect picture of the culture that we're currently facing.
- 04:41:18
- The same spiteful God hating attitude that we're up against when the big mean haughty culture is bearing down when they say are we dogs that you come to us with a book?
- 04:41:31
- Our response should not be to duck and cover or run and hide. We should not cowardly retreat.
- 04:41:39
- Our response should be who are you? Uncircumcised culture that you should defy the armies of the living
- 04:41:46
- God. When the culture spits and hurls insults and threatens us, our response should not be to find the nearest bunker and wait it out.
- 04:41:57
- Our response should be to confront them in the name of the Lord of hosts to let them know that they have defied the armies of Israel.
- 04:42:07
- Excuse me, the God of the armies of Israel. For what purpose? The passage we just looked at here says that all the earth may know that there's a
- 04:42:15
- God in Israel and to declare that the Lord saves not with sword and spear. So I ask you, if you're watching this, who will have the courage of David?
- 04:42:25
- Who will stand firm knowing that the battle is the Lord's? Who has enough fortitude to tell the culture he will give you into our hand?
- 04:42:37
- So the second story then I want to look at is that of Gideon and Judges 6. This is one of my favorite stories.
- 04:42:44
- Without getting too much into the text, God commanded Gideon to literally tear down his community idols.
- 04:42:51
- These are the same idols that his father built with his own hands. They were his father's idols.
- 04:42:58
- Of course, Gideon was very afraid. But God told him in verse 16, I will be with you.
- 04:43:04
- So Gideon was faithful and he followed God and God gave him the courage to obey what he had commanded.
- 04:43:11
- So Gideon pulled down the altar of Baal and cut down the Asherah pole. And what was the result?
- 04:43:19
- The men of the town immediately went looking for him. They found his father and demanded bring out your son that he may die for he has broken down the altar of Baal and cut down the
- 04:43:29
- Asherah beside it. Yet, just as God promised, he protected him.
- 04:43:35
- So here's the point I want us to get here. Abortion is a cultural idol.
- 04:43:41
- And if you have the courage to end it, you will be attempting to tear down that idol. I promise you that you will be hated.
- 04:43:50
- The culture may even want to kill you. But, be faithful to God's commands.
- 04:43:56
- As he said in verse 34, he will clothe you with the spirit of the Lord. This fight will not be easy.
- 04:44:04
- It is hard to be hopeful, but easy to be hopeless. Courage means doing the hard thing, and cowardice means doing the easy thing.
- 04:44:17
- So, now I want to directly address pastors if you're watching this. And your pastor might challenge to you as shepherds of your flocks and as leaders in your communities, is that this starts with you.
- 04:44:33
- It starts in the pulpit. You are not just the watchdogs of your congregations, but also the watchdogs of your culture and of your communities.
- 04:44:43
- There's a saying that says, as goes the church, so goes the nation. This could not be a truer statement.
- 04:44:51
- How you lead your churches directly affects the state of your culture. I recently heard
- 04:44:57
- Brother Rusty say something. He actually was here a couple weeks ago teaching, and he said something that I found very profound.
- 04:45:06
- So, admittedly, Rusty, I'm stealing this from you, and I'm going to add to it a little bit, so you can feel free to use the part
- 04:45:13
- I'm adding. But, speaking of MAGA, Make America Great Again, he said this, In order for America to become great again, the church has to become good again.
- 04:45:22
- And then I added this, And in order for the church to become good again, pastors have to guide again.
- 04:45:29
- I'm going to repeat this. In order for America to become great again, the church has to become good again.
- 04:45:38
- And in order for the church to become good again, pastors have to guide again. So, I'm going to tread very lightly here with this next point, because I know that this does not apply to every pastor, but I do think that it does apply to a lot of pastors, and if it does,
- 04:45:57
- I implore you to please listen, and to please examine your hearts and motives, and to please repent, if necessary.
- 04:46:06
- So, throughout biblical history, God has notoriously diminished the size of his armies, prior to the time of war, and also preceding great victory.
- 04:46:18
- Doing so makes triumph seem utterly impossible, allowing only him to receive the honor and glory.
- 04:46:28
- So, brothers and sisters, pastors, or anyone else watching this, I truly believe that this is what we are witnessing before our very eyes.
- 04:46:35
- Currently in our culture, this is what's happening. And I want to quickly look at another story from the life of Gideon.
- 04:46:42
- Again, one that I'm sure most of us are familiar with. So, this is
- 04:46:47
- Judges chapter 7. Remember, we were just in chapter 6. Now we're chapter 7, verses 1 -8. It says,
- 04:46:53
- Then Jeroboam, that is Gideon, and all the people who were with him rose early and encamped beside the spring of Herod.
- 04:47:01
- And the camp of Midian was north of them, by the hill of Moriah, in the valley. The Lord said to Gideon, The people with you are too many for me to give the
- 04:47:10
- Midianites into their hand, lest Israel boast over me, saying, My hand has saved me.
- 04:47:17
- Now therefore proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whoever is fearful and trembling, let him return home, and hurry away from Mount Gilead.
- 04:47:26
- Then 22 ,000 of the people returned, and 10 ,000 remained.
- 04:47:33
- So that's of 32 ,000 people, 22 ,000 of them left, because they were afraid and trembling.
- 04:47:38
- Verse 4, And the Lord said to Gideon, The people are still too many. Take them down to the water, and I will test them for you there.
- 04:47:46
- And any one of whom I say to you, This one shall go with you, shall go with you. And any one of whom
- 04:47:51
- I say to you, This one shall not go with you, shall not go. So he brought the people down to the water.
- 04:47:57
- And the Lord said to Gideon, Everyone who laps the water with his tongue as a dog laps, you shall set by himself.
- 04:48:05
- Likewise, everyone who kneels down to drink, and the number of those who lapped, putting their hands to their mouths, was 300 men.
- 04:48:14
- But all the rest of the people who knelt down to drink water. And the Lord said to Gideon, With the 300 men who lapped,
- 04:48:21
- I will save you, and give the Midianites into your hand, and let all the others go, every man to his home.
- 04:48:28
- So the people took provisions in their hands, and their trumpets, and he set all the rest of Israel, every man to his tent, but retained the 300 men, and the camp of Midian was below him in the valley.
- 04:48:41
- So, remember we had 32 ,000 down to 10 ,000, now we're down to 300 men, and this is the army that God has shrunk and built for victory.
- 04:48:53
- So this is an amazing story, right? And I think it perfectly illustrates my point. Remember what
- 04:48:59
- I said earlier, the reason God does this is so that man can't boast. He says here in the text, Lest Israel boast over me, saying,
- 04:49:05
- My own hand has saved me. So, again, we shrunk it down to 300, and the test that God used
- 04:49:14
- I think is one that most Christians probably just overlook, don't understand, haven't spent time examining.
- 04:49:20
- And this is actually really important. So the 9 ,700 soldiers who failed the test failed because they proved themselves not ready for war.
- 04:49:30
- So by kneeling down to drink, they put their faces down to the water, leaving themselves vulnerable and unalert.
- 04:49:38
- But the 300 soldiers who passed the test passed because they proved themselves ready for war. So by cupping the water in their hands, they brought the water up to their mouths so that they could lap it up like a dog.
- 04:49:49
- And in so doing, they left themselves then protected and alert. So I have an honest question
- 04:49:55
- I'm asking here tonight. Are there at this point 300 pastors left in our nation fully prepared for war, that are alert and guarded and protected?
- 04:50:07
- How many pastors have proven themselves unworthy by kneeling before the inviting cool waters of our current culture, ultimately leaving themselves vulnerable and unprepared for the war at hand?
- 04:50:22
- Make no mistake. Not only are these pastors making themselves unworthy for war, but also unworthy for victory.
- 04:50:32
- Now you may be hearing this and you may think I'm crazy. And to be honest, I myself may have felt this same way if I had not just seen with my own eyes the published list of businesses and organizations that received funds through the
- 04:50:46
- Paycheck Protection Program. This money was loaned by the federal government to help fund operational costs during shutdowns due to COVID.
- 04:50:56
- This was money that had to actively be applied for, not just freely given.
- 04:51:03
- If I'm being honest with you tonight, I was completely surprised and appalled by the millions upon millions upon millions of dollars taken by churches.
- 04:51:13
- Even churches I would consider to be solid God -honoring churches. So now the souls of these churches are owned by Uncle Sam and, in my opinion, have proven themselves unprepared for the war at hand.
- 04:51:27
- I in no way consider myself a prophet, but I can see the writing on the wall and I do try to view current events through a biblical lens, taking into consideration
- 04:51:40
- God's modus operandi throughout history. So here's a powerful quote
- 04:51:46
- I'm going to share with you from my good friend Gary DeMar from his book God and Government. He said this,
- 04:51:52
- The early church was able to grow and have influence because it was decentralized. When the
- 04:51:58
- Christians were persecuted in Jerusalem, they moved on to Judea and Samaria. Even Rome, the center of apostate political power, was populated with Christians.
- 04:52:08
- Spain was next in Paul's missionary plans. The decentralized church was a growing and elusive church.
- 04:52:14
- No political power on earth could curtail its efforts. Christians, because ultimately they serve
- 04:52:20
- God, take their religion with them wherever they go. Families no longer look to the state for care.
- 04:52:26
- Education is seen as a parental responsibility. Statist education is opposed. Alternative educational establishments are constructed.
- 04:52:35
- Care for the needy is seen as a Christian responsibility and not the obligation or right of the state. There was little need for fair business laws because Christian employers treated their employees with dignity, as individuals created in the image of God.
- 04:52:49
- These early Christians were persecuted for their individualistic beliefs, but with the
- 04:52:55
- Roman Empire crumbling around them, in time, Christians found themselves in positions of power and authority.
- 04:53:06
- Unfortunately, the church has become anything but elusive. In actuality, the church has succumbed to political power by kneeling before it, leaving the
- 04:53:15
- Bride of Christ vulnerable. Our culture, much like Rome, is crumbling around us.
- 04:53:22
- And I don't know about you, but when it finally does collapse, I want to be left in a position of power and authority.
- 04:53:30
- As pastors, people will be looking to us to lead. But my question to you, if you're a pastor, will you even still be standing?
- 04:53:40
- Our nation's founding fathers, the Puritans, who escaped tyranny and risked their lives to sail across the ocean to live in freedom, rightly understood this concept.
- 04:53:52
- They were willing to lie face down in the mud so that generations after them could walk across their backs in freedom.
- 04:54:01
- I'm willing to do the same. Are you? I'm willing to fight, to get beat up, to get my hands dirty.
- 04:54:08
- Are you? Proverbs 29, 18 says, where there is no prophetic vision, the people cast off restraint.
- 04:54:15
- But blessed is he who keeps the law. This verse has greatly resonated with me over the last several years.
- 04:54:23
- Our culture, the people, have cast off restraint because overall, there has been no prophetic vision from our pulpits.
- 04:54:33
- So pastors, consider this a prophetic vision from me to please repent of your lack of prophetic vision and to turn from your failure to not only keep but also to love the law of God.
- 04:54:47
- I know it's difficult in our day and age. It's very difficult. But we see here that God has promised to bless you for doing so.
- 04:54:57
- So my admonition to you is to be bold, just like Pastor Zach was saying. Be bold. Be courageous.
- 04:55:02
- Don't buckle under persecution. And my plea to you is to please repent of any apathy about abortion.
- 04:55:09
- Please allow the gospel and God's law to be your standard. Precious little lives literally depend upon it.
- 04:55:16
- My next topic now I want to address magistrates, politicians, legislators that are watching.
- 04:55:23
- So my admonition to you is much more simple. You as lesser magistrates are accountable to God for how you handle your authority and for how you rule those under your jurisdiction.
- 04:55:35
- Looking quickly at Romans chapter 13, verse 1 states that there is no authority except from God and those that exist have been instituted by God.
- 04:55:46
- So let me be clear. The authority that you have has been given to you by God.
- 04:55:53
- Then moving down to verse 3, it says, For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad.
- 04:55:59
- So your duty is to be a terror to bad conduct and not to good conduct. And then verse 4, it says,
- 04:56:06
- For he is God's servant for your good. You are God's servant.
- 04:56:12
- Literally, the word is you are God's deacon for our good, your citizens. And then continuing in verse 4, it says,
- 04:56:19
- But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain, for he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out
- 04:56:26
- God's wrath on the wrongdoer. So you are responsible to not bear the sword in vain.
- 04:56:33
- The apostle Paul repeats himself again. He says you are God's deacon. You are his avenger to carry out
- 04:56:39
- God's wrath upon the evildoer. To summarize, the authority that you have is given to you by God.
- 04:56:48
- And as God's servant, you are therefore to protect the innocent and to seek vengeance on the evildoer.
- 04:56:56
- And you will be held accountable. This means that you are to protect the lives of our innocent pre -born neighbors and wield the sword against the hired assassins who intentionally murder them in their mother's wombs.
- 04:57:11
- Unfortunately, the very opposite of this occurs every single day under your watch.
- 04:57:16
- The sword is being wielded in vain against the innocent while the wrongdoer is not only going free but in many cases is even being praised.
- 04:57:28
- So legislators, lesser magistrates, please hear me on this. 2020 has thus far been one wild and crazy ride for sure.
- 04:57:38
- And one thing that the COVID pandemic has shown is that politicians are really good at covering their backsides.
- 04:57:46
- You may be able to temporarily and successfully do so during your elected term, but I can promise you that apart from Christ, you cannot eternally cover your backside.
- 04:57:57
- So I implore you to do the right and God -honoring thing.
- 04:58:03
- Politics are nothing more than legislated morality. So the question is, whose morality will you legislate?
- 04:58:09
- Whose morality will you uphold and protect? The objective morality of your creator who has given you the power you hold is one option.
- 04:58:19
- The other option is the subjective morality of sinful men whose standards ebb and flow like the daily updates of COVID -19.
- 04:58:29
- In closing, I would like to admonish everyone. Remember the passage from Proverbs that I read at the very beginning.
- 04:58:39
- I'll read it again. Proverbs 24, 10 -12. If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.
- 04:58:46
- Rescue those who are being taken away to death. Hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say,
- 04:58:51
- Behold, we did not know this, does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it?
- 04:58:58
- And will he not repay man according to his work? This passage is the driving force behind an abortion now.
- 04:59:07
- It's quite simple. There's nothing tricky nor exegetically difficult to decipher.
- 04:59:13
- The bottom line is this. We are commanded to rescue those who are being taken away to death and to hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter.
- 04:59:23
- This clearly and directly describes abortion. Pastors, magistrates alike, it is your responsibility to live this out, to rescue those beautiful children being taken away to death, to hold them back from stumbling to the slaughter.
- 04:59:37
- If you have the opportunity to obey this command and are not doing it, then you are failing in your duties and you are neglecting your
- 04:59:45
- God -given responsibilities. And if you say, We did not know this, you simply are a liar.
- 04:59:51
- And if you're hearing this, you now know and are without excuse. Verse 12 says,
- 04:59:59
- Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it? And will he not repay man according to his work?
- 05:00:05
- Again, you will be held accountable whether in this life or the next. So who here will be this generation's
- 05:00:12
- David? Who will be this generation's Gideon? God does not bless cowardice but does reward courage.
- 05:00:20
- And I can promise you this, if you lead, they will follow. If you are willing to put to death cowardice and courageously stand firm and embed yourselves upon God's righteous and just principles, we will support you.
- 05:00:35
- And we have a growing grassroots army standing behind us waiting for their marching orders. So what do you say?
- 05:00:43
- Who is with me? Isaiah 41 10 and I'm going to close. It says,
- 05:00:48
- Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you.
