Morning family.
Sorry, I'm late.
This is a another timeout for this morning.
My name is Benjamin Talley, I am the associate pastor at wooden Memorial
Baptist Church.
Our timeout today is from first Corinthians
chapter 10 verse 13 it says
No temptation has come upon you except what is common to man or a common to humanity.
But God is faithful He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able.
But with the temptation he will also provide a way out.
So that you may be able to hear bear it so.
Hello Corrine.
So it says that no temptation
Has come upon you except what is common to humanity.
So the basically says that You know, no temptation you fake
face is unique what what it means is that You
Know nothing is new, you know, this is a temptation that
every temptation or trial you face someone is faced before.
The word temptation means affliction or
Adversity or trial.
The word is a Greek word it means param.
It's a perium remos.
So This also means that God and the
devil They're not playing tricks on you.
They're not they're not attacking you.
So Wow Corrine you're from the Bahamas.
Wow, good morning.
Um, that is awesome.
So Yeah, they're they're not attacking you God and the devil.
They're not attacking you.
They're not playing tricks on you.
This also means that God is faithful.
It says that God is faithful.
He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able so
God will give you a way out.
That's the second.
That's another thing that it says.
Says he will not tempted to be tempted.
You will not be tempted beyond what you are able.
But Look at what it says.
It says.
You know.
It's a lot of people say well, yeah, he will tempt you beyond what you are able.
He will do that.
Yes, he will.
But look at what it says before it says in verse Verses 10 to 11.
It says whoever thinks he must stand.
Be careful that he might not fall.
Because he needs to depend on Christ, you know, we need to be no Christ because he will give you more than
when you what he What you can handle.
Because he wants you to depend on him.
God knows where you're at.
And he knows.
He knows what you can handle but he wants you to depend on him.
He wants you to be able to depend on him.
So he will give you beyond what you are able.
But he will give you what you can handle.
Only with him depending on him so.
So some people think that you know stress and trouble
Comes with trials.
Yeah stress and trouble does come with trials.
But you have a Redeemer with you your Redeemer is with you always he's always
walking with you.
You're not alone so.
That leads me to the next one.
With temptation he provides a way out.
He's coaching you he's walking with you and then it says
He will.
He will provide a way out so that you are able to bear it so that you are
able to bear it.
Matthew 11 says come all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.
Take up my yoke and learn from me because I am lowly and humble at heart and you will find
rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
Why you are bearing a burden?
It'll be a lot lighter than the than the Burden
that you're carrying on your own.
So will you have a burden?
Yeah, but it'll be a lot lighter than the one you're carrying.
So to recap.
You know, you will face trials.
Tests and afflictions.
But God is walking with you.
He's he's walking with you.
He's faithful.
He's trustworthy.
You will be able to handle it because he won't give you anything you can handle
you can't handle with him by your side, so
Always know that he's there walking with you.
He's there to encourage you and he will.
He will be there encouraging and walking with you the whole time.
A lot of the times God will be there teaching you and Encouraging the whole way
and I'll give you a burden.
Yeah, the the weight of a trial is there sure.
It's it's weighty, but it'll be a lot lighter than the burden you're.
You'll be carrying on if you try to do it on your own.
So be encouraged.
God is there to help you through your trials.
God is there to encourage you along the way.
Don't try to do it on your own.
Don't try to take a trial on your own or Try to do things on your own
without him.
He's there for you to walk with you.
So um.
It's a good day to be alive in Jesus, um, you know,
it is.
It is always encouraging to know that God's walking
with us.
God is encouraging you.
God is an ever trip ever -present help in their time of trouble.
So I love you.
God loves you, and it's a good day to be alive in Jesus.
