- Paul is not downplaying the law. He's not belittling it. He's not casting it aside. He's saying you are not using it as it was designed.

- You are not living according to its purpose. The way in which that we continue in our progression and faith, the way in which we grow into the likeness of Christ is by faith.

- Paul says we walk by faith, right? And that's how we don't fulfill the lust of the flesh.

- Because it's walking by faith is to receive the righteousness of Christ. To walk by the Spirit is to receive the righteousness of Christ.

- And so that's what we need to continue to be exhorted in. Keep trusting him. Keep looking to him. And then, yes, the law of God is a perfect guide for your life.
