Welcome back to Daily Bites God's Word. This is Andy Cain, and it's a joy to be back with you once again. Today, we are looking at Psalm 119, verse 32.

It says, I shall run the way of your commandments for you will enlarge my heart.

The psalmist here knows that the right way to run, if you think about being in a cross country race.

I know when we did cross country in high school, you had three miles of very, very long races.

And you had a certain path, a certain way you had to run. If you got out of the way or off the path, you could be disqualified.

And so to not be disqualified in life, in a sense, we need to make sure that we're running the correct path, running the way of the right commandments.

And the right way to run, the right way to follow, the right way to go. Is in submission and obedience to God's law,

God's commandments. It is only the Christian worldview, a consistent application of a contextual exegesis of God's word and a consistent

Christian worldview applied to all areas of life that brings success and prosperity, and when he talks about you will enlarge my heart, enlarge my capacity to love, enlarge my capacity to feel and to want to help others and to live righteously, and this is done by running the way of God's commandments, by following his commandments, being obedient to them, and so we see that in life it is either

Christ or chaos. It is either Christ's way or any number of false ways.

So we, as a country, as a nation, local communities worldwide, no matter what level you are looking at, if there is not a consistent

Christian worldview based on obedience to the word of God and to God's law, you will not see peace and safety.

You will see chaos. Now there may be timeframes where things are sort of band -aided, but you will always eventually see the fallout of the folly of man's ways.

So we need to be God -centered, which means we need to be focused on the word of God and the application of it to all areas of life.

So I trust that you are considering and actively looking to run the way, to live in the way of the commandments of God in your life, to see your heart enlarged, to see your way made prosperous in spiritual matters, and to see the lack of chaos because you will have the true peace of God in your life.
