Well, if the Bible is the Word of God, why it got all them contradictions all up inside it, hmm? Contradictions like what? Can you give me an example? You know, like that one time when it had a contradiction and it, uh, you know, it got contradictions.
When you're talking to someone who asserts that the Bible has contradictions, it's not your responsibility to get all defensive and provide 90 different examples as to why the Bible doesn't have contradictions.
When someone makes an assertion, what you want to do is make them back up that assertion. You don't have to do all of the unnecessary heavy lifting. If the person makes an assertion, challenge that assertion.
If someone says the Bible has contradictions, ask them. Provide an example. Now, that being said, if someone does provide an example of kind of a possible contradiction in the Bible, then you're gonna need to know your Bible enough to address that specific issue.
But when someone makes an assertion, don't do the heavy lifting. Let them back up those assumptions.
