- Revelation chapter 16 verse 8 I'm gonna go ahead and it's a little lengthy, but I'm gonna go ahead and read the rest of chapter 16.

- So get ready I'm gonna read the rest of chapter 16 starting in verse 8

- The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the Sun It was loud to scorch people with fire and they were scorched by fierce heat and they cursed the name of God who had power

- Over the plagues they did not repent or give him glory The fifth angel poured out his bowl in the throne of the beast and its kingdom was plunged in darkness

- People gnawed their tongues in anguish and cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores They did not repent of their deeds

- The sixth angel poured out his bowl in the great river Euphrates and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the east

- I saw coming out of the mouth of a dragon out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet three unclean spirits like frogs

- They are demonic spirits performing signs Who go abroad to the kings of the whole world to assemble them for the great day of God the

- Almighty? To some of them for battle I should say Behold, I'm coming like a thief blesses the one who stays a week keeping his garments on so may not go about naked and seen

- Exposed and they assembled them at a place that is in Hebrew called Armageddon or Mount Megiddo verse 17

- The seventh angel poured out his bowl in the air and a loud voice came from the temple in the throne saying sorry guys

- Saying it is done There are flashes of lightning rumblings peals of thunder and great earthquakes such as never been since it was on earth

- So great was that earthquake? The great city was split into three parts and the cities of the nation spell and God remembered

- Abba on the great to make her Drink the cup of wine of the fury of wrath Every island flood away and no mountain were to be found great hailstones about a hundred pounds each

- Fell from heaven on people and they cursed God for the plague of hail because the plague was so severe

- Wow, all right Remember our series of seven judgments. We had seven seals and seven trumpets seven thunders which weren't recorded and Then seven bowls the bowls were most severe

- They instead of doing a third of this and a quarter of this it's normally total encompassing and they're mostly directed at unbelievers now instead of believers instead of everybody the fourth bowl verse 8

- Allows the Sun to scorch people with fire Verse 9 they were scorched by fierce heat.

- They cursed the name of God about power the plagues They did not repent or give him glory. We see this time and time again in the book of Revelation God executes judgment.

- They know it's God. They don't pen or give him glory. Remember That was every one of us at one point every one of us not maybe with our words, but in our actions

- Did not give him glory and did not repent until he awakened us first in the fifth angel poured out his bowl in the throne of the beast and its kingdom was plunged in the darkness and People gnawed their tongues in anguish.

- You'll notice we talked about this last week There's a lot of comparisons to the ten plagues of Egypt in these seven bowls we have water in the blood darkness sores and pain boils

- Lot of comparison there just like God's was bringing his people out of that and to the other side

- So God is bringing his people out of this and to the other side Verse 11 the curse

- God for the pains and sores that did not repent of their deeds Now Looking verse 12 the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river

- Euphrates and the water was dried up To prepare the way for the kings of these So then in verse 13, we have three unclean spirits we'll call them demons coming out of the unholy

- Trinity is what we'll call it the dragon which is Satan the beast which is the Antichrist the false prophet or the second beast

- Which is like the hype man for the beast remember He's the one that hyped up the beast made everyone want to worship him created the statue.

- Well the image we'll call it These demonic spirits that come out of them Are like frogs they go out to the kings of all to assemble them for battle guys the

- Battle of Armageddon Mount Megiddo if you will which was already talked about in Revelation 14 and Is seen in detail at Jesus's return in Revelation 19 is less of a battle and more of an execution

- Jesus comes and He wins that's what happens they can all assemble for battle all they want

- Jesus destroys them all Except Satan he locks him up in the abyss for a thousand years just to release him later and beat him again you know, that's just how

- He decided to do it Yes, so on and so forth, let's see what else do we got here, uh, they assembled at Armageddon remember

- Chapter 16 Finishes the seven bowls and with them the wrath of God is finished

- The reason Jesus doesn't return to chapter 19 is because chapter 17 and 18 are just an in -depth look at what happened in chapter 16

- Ending the same way. So what if it was like this? Let's say That the seals are like summertime which ends on September 21st,

- Bowl is on September 21st We have all them ending the same way which may account for how the seventh seal the seventh trumpet and the seventh bowl all in the same way

- So remember back in Genesis 1 It goes through the creation account in six days of creation

- It's just a detailed account of what happened on day 6 Well revelation 17 18 are just a detailed account of what happened in chapter 16 so there is the end of chapter 16 and chapter 17 and 18 are details of how
